Chapter 22

This morning felt a little different for Alissya. Today, she just stood by the window and looked at the snow-covered trees, because there was a storm outside.

The snow was falling heavily and the wind was so strong. So everyone was afraid to go out, even if it was just a thought. It's the same as voluntarily giving up your life. "Huht."

Don't know how many times Alissya sighed cruelly as boredom approached her.

"It would have been nice to play outside in the snow,"Missya said, looking at the snowdrifts that covered the palace garden. But what could she do, she was only cooped up in the palace because of the annoying blizzard.

Missya, who was beginning to feel bored, finally went to the fireplace in the room and sat down on the thick carpet. She took a thick blanket to cover her body before picking up a book she had brought from the library.

Dark Lord, Dark Lord.

Missya was very interested in the book when she saw it for the first time. She couldn't wait to read it.

She read it page by page. But she still couldn't understand the story. The sentences were so standardized. Many riddles thrown in by the author. But Alissya did not feel bored for a moment, she even felt very curious to understand the ssi in the middle.

"Tomorrow is our daughter's birthday party, but this storm is not over,"Cellina said to Gusar.

Derix, hearing his wife's words, smiled, then stepped closer to Cellina and hugged her from behind. Of course, he could feel his wife's worries right now. No one would be able to calm down if the plan that had been prepared for days was in danger of failing because of the blizzard that had hit the place.

"You don't have to worry, everything will definitely go as it should,"Derix said, trying to reassure Cellina.

"Derrina is looking forward to this day. Besides, she can't wait to wear her dream dress. Of course, i'll be very worried if our plan fails,"Cellina interjected.

Derix also missed Cellina's body and looked closely into his wife's sparkling eyes.

Cup...

Cellina rounded her eyes when Derix suddenly kissed her.

"There is no word for failure, my dear Indup. Everything will go according to plan."

"There is no failure in my life, my love. Everything will go your way. So don't worry. Look, your beauty has diminished because you think too much about my wife,"Derix said, making Cellina blush.

"Ck, shut up,"Cellina said as her face turned red.

Derix chuckled softly at Cellina, who looked embarrassed by his words. But he really liked to see his wife's red face. It made Cellina look very beautiful in his eyes.

"She's in the library with Mommy. But i haven't seen Alissya since earlier. Hasn't she woken up yet?"Cellina said as she glanced around. She had not seen Alissya since she had been in the living room. Even at breakfast, Alissya did not join them at the dining table.

"Maybe she's still in the room with Evan,"Derix said, shrugging indifferently.

"No way, i saw Evan in his office earlier. Again, he doesn't care about his own dead,"Cellina said sadly while sighing softly. But not Derix, who was listening to Cellina's words. From a distance he could feel Evan's presence watching them.

Evan walked through the palace corridor to his room. The man's face was very cold. All the servants who passed him immediately looked down in fear. But in their hearts they were very curious about what had happened to their king, who was as cold as Evan.

The door to the room opened and Evan entered with firm steps. But the man's steps stopped when he saw a girl lying on the floor near the fireplace.

"What did she do?"Evan said, unable to think of Alissya lying upstairs hugging a book.

Having no other choice, Evan finally approached Alissya and stopped right in front of the girl. Evan also took the book into Alissya's arms, then lifted the body and put it on the mattress.

But as Evan was about to leave, he suddenly heard a soft voice coming from Alissya. At that moment, Evan saw Alissya's forehead wrinkle, and beads of sweat began to form on it,

'Did she have a nightmare?' Evan thought,

Eventually Evan decided to sit down next to Alissya and gently rubbed the top of her head. Soon Alissya's breathing began to regularize, the nightmare slowly fading away and being replaced by a dream that was so beautiful. But it didn't take long for the girl's eyelids to slowly open. Evan, noticing Alissya's awakening, immediately removed her hand from the top of Missya's head.

Alissya, who had focused her attention, was suddenly surprised to see Evan standing in front of her. At that moment, Alissya got up from her bed and leaned against the headboard.

"Did you move me here?"Alissya asked nervously.

"Then who else?"Evan said coldly. Alissya, hearing that, was law enforcement as she bowed her head.

"Sorry to bother you. Law, i won't bother you again next time,"Alissya said before finally getting off the bed and quickly leaving the room. Meanwhile, Evan agreed as Alissya left her room.

Walking down the stairs, Alissya frowned when she saw the atmosphere of the palace, which looked very quiet.

"This place is not usually so quiet. Where did everyone go?"Missya muttered.

Finally, Alissya decided to go to the back terrace of the palace. There she could enjoy a cup of tea while watching the snow fall.

"Your Highness, why are you here alone?"Missya was startled when she heard someone's voice behind her. Then she saw Steve standing not far from her.

"You scared me!"Alissya said as her heartbeat returned to normal. Meanwhile, Steve, hearing her, chuckled quietly.

Not long after, Grace arrived with a tray of tea and some snacks.

"Don't you and Evan have something to do? You're not usually at the palace,"Alissya said as she drank the tea Grace offered,

"No Your Majesty, there is a storm right now, so we can't do any work outside the palace,"Steve explained politely.

"Don't call me that. Just call me Alissya,"Steve, hearing this, was immediately surprised. But he immediately refused Missya's request.

"I can't do that, Your Majesty. Lord Evan might kill me if i dare,"Steve said fearfully, making Alissya slowly giggle.

Steve was slightly mesmerized by the beauty of the girl who now stood before him. He had never seen a girl as beautiful as Alissya. It would be hypocritical if he didn't envy Evan for getting the best partner and being as beautiful as Alissya.
