"Mommy gave permission to go,"said Crystal, who had just entered the room with her husband.

"Why?! She's my eye, she should have told me everything!"

"What do you care?!"Crystal said, raising her voice so much that Evan fell silent. "

The atmosphere in the room became tense as Evan argued with his mother. Steve kept his head down while Xavier tried to calm his wife.

"Look, you can't answer Mommy's questions. You can't even talk to your own friends!"

"No! You're wrong Mom!"Evan argued.

"No! You're the one who's wrong! You always leave your eyes alone, you can even stay somewhere else without thinking about your eyes, and you don't even know if she fainted in the room!"said Crystal, making everyone in the room immediately round their eyes.

"Fainted?"asked Evan in a surprised tone.

"Yes, she fainted on her first day at the palace. Then you didn't feel the least bit guilty about letting her sleep alone. Mommy told you to leave her if you didn't want to. Want her! Don't treat a girl as good as her like a Evan! Jade, let her live happily with her mother instead of living like a prisoner in this palace. "Do you love her?"asked Xavier. But he did not hear an answer from his son.

"Seeing your reaction, i agree with your mother,"Xavier said, making Evan stare at him.

"What do you mean?"asked Evan, making Xavser support his body.

"You don't love her, so your mother is not wrong if she wants you to leave this girl. Alissya is a Bask girl, she doesn't deserve you,"Xavier said without turning around.

"You know, back then, even Father went to great lengths to find your mother. Many enemies are after her because they know she is father's weakness. Of course i would do everything to protect her. I would always be close to her and make her smile happily. Her smile really brightened my life, and I knew then that i didn't want to lose her.

Evan imagined hearing his father's centa. It was the first time he had ever heard his father talk to himself about his mother. But who would have thought that those words would slowly stir Evan's heart.

"Didn't you ever feel the same way I did?"Xavter asked, looking back at Evan.

"Think carefully about what i say. It's for your own good, son, we would never ask you to do anything to harm yourself. We will always guide you to the path of righteousness because that is our duty as your parents."

Xavier said and left the room. But just as Xavier was about to open the door to the room, he suddenly turned and looked at his son.

"Ahh right. Did you take your eyes off me because of Lord Edgar's words? I hope it's not true, because father will never approve of it, even though he has helped us all this time,"Xavier said and stood behind the door.

His father's words were a blow to Evan. No, of course he wouldn't accept Lond Edgar's offer. Yes. At the dinner in the Waard Kingdom, Lord Edgar said something very surprising to him.

Charlotte had lived in the center of the vampire kingdom's city near Jacob and Anne's house. She was surprised to find that Evan had prepared all of this for her mother himself.

"Oh my God, who's here?"Charlotte said in surprise at her daughter's arrival. Alissya chuckled at her mother's reaction.

"You're too much Mom,"Charlotte chuckled and hugged Alissya fondly.

Alissya smiled and returned her mother's hug. She really missed her mother, even though she had only been in the palace for a few days.

"Ah, right. This is Mrs. Grace, who always takes care of me in the palace,"Alissya said, releasing her #bunya's hug when she realized that she had not come as herself.

"Thank you for looking after my daughter."

"It is my duty, ma'am,"Grace said as she bowed her head.

"Don't be so formal, like we're the same age. Call me Charlotte,"Chartotte said, chuckling softly. Grace smiled and nodded her head. Eventually they entered the house while the guards maintained security in front of the house.

Once inside, Alissya walked around, admiring every corner of the house. The house was much nicer and bigger than her previous one.

"Why did you come all of a sudden and not tell Mommy first? Mommy doesn't even have any food to serve you, for you,"said Charlotte, who was busy in the kitchen preparing tea for her guests.

Grace, seeing the interaction between mother and daughter in front of her, smiled happily. It turned out there was still a lot she didn't know about Alissya. At the palace she was a very quiet girl, while at home she talked non-stop.

"Forgive my daughter, Grace. She's just like that,"Charlotte said as she set down a tray of tea and some snacks.

"I'm very happy to see Your Highness..."Grace had not finished speaking, but Alissya interrupted her first.

"Please do not address us formally when you are not in Madame's palace. Just call me Alissya. Isn't that right Mom?"said Alissya as she dropped her body next to her mother.

"Ahh okay,"Grace said smiling happily.

"Have you been eating a lot Akssya? You look like you're getting fatter,"Charlotte said, making Alissya roll her eyes.

"Seriously! How could I get fatter in three days mom,"Charlotte and Grace, hearing this, immediately laughed at Alissya's cuteness. Meanwhile, Akssya, who knew that she had been discouraged by her mother, immediately grabbed annoyed.

"Charlotte! Why are there so many bodyguards outside your house?"Anne shouted into the house with a surprised face.

Everyone inside fell silent when they saw Anne come in.

"Are you okay bitv'?"Alissya asked quietly. MAlissya!"Harlotte covered her ears with both hands when she heard Anne's scream again. Meanwhile, Alissya just chuckled softly at the look on the woman's face.

"Jacob, hurry, Alissya's here!"Anne called to her husband who was still waiting outside,

"Really?!"Jacob said as he entered with a surprised look on his face.

"Hi Uncle,"Alissya greeted him, mechanizing her hand and chuckling softly at the couple's behavior.

The sun slowly started to move towards the western horizon and was replaced by the moon and stars. But Evan still remained in the hard-to-interpret room. I don't know how many times i heard the man sigh,

Soon he was startled to feel a tap on his shoulder. Of course, he knew who it was.

"Why are you still here?"Steve asked as he leaned against the balcony wall. Hearing him, Evan raised an eyebrow and looked at Steve in confusion.

"Tsk, you're so slow,"Steve was annoyed.

Evan was reluctant to react to the man's words. His mind was still very confused from the thought of his death.

Steve slapped Evan's shoulder one last time before deciding to go back into the room.

"Go get her and tell her you love her,"Steve said and walked away.
