Chapter 32 The Southern Heir Will Soon Be Born

Chapter 32 The Southern Heir Will Soon Be Born
"You've been caught, darling." Dylan snatched my phone and slammed it to the floor.
"NO!" I screamed in disbelief; the impact was so hard that my phone shattered on the floor. Dylan also stomped on it until the screen was completely broken.
"Do you know you're a prisoner here? You're not allowed to go out or contact your family!" Dylan snapped at me again.
"Was it not enough that you killed my father? Now you're separating me from my mother and making me miserable." I stared blankly at Dylan, hoping he would show mercy.
"That's exactly what I want. And from now on, you will no longer have any access. Your movements will be watched more closely because I don't know what you're planning behind that pretty head of yours. And if you do anything else, you'll have to face the consequences," Dylan said, like lightning flashing across the sky.
"What other consequences? Since living with you, everything is my consequence. My bruised body, this baby, my father's death, and life as your wife are like a curse to me." And every time I talk to Dylan, I can't help but explode. I can't just stay silent; I want him to know how much I've been hurt by him. However, hoping Dylan would come to his senses and show mercy was impossible.
"Do you consider being my wife a curse for you?" Dylan approached me, making me take a step back. Unfortunately, Dylan's steps were much faster. He grabbed my wet hair and pulled it, forcing me to look up at the sky with a stinging sensation on my scalp.
"Damn it, let me go!" I struggled, begging to be released; I couldn't bear the pain of Dylan's grip on my hair.
"This is a lesson for my whore. If you act up again, I'll hurt your mother!" I widened my eyes, shocked and worried that Dylan would really do something reckless. Just for being caught with a phone, Dylan is already this angry, let alone if he knew that I would be the leader of the rebellion, a wolf in sheep's clothing, and someone who wants to destroy him.
"Not my mother!" I snapped, tears streaming down my face uncontrollably.
"Of course it has to be your mother; that way you'll go even crazier." Dylan laughed heartily, making me desperately try to reach his body to hit him, but Dylan's strong grip had restricted my movement.
"If it weren't for your mother, I would have hurt Lily, or that disgusting doctor, your lover." Dylan laughed again.
"DAMN BASTARD!" I put all my strength into stomping on Dylan's foot, but the man didn't feel any pain at all. He just laughed at me, helpless to fight back.
"So ticklish." Dylan laughed even harder because of my foot stomp. However, we were both suddenly startled by Mary's scream.
"Madam! There's blood dripping down your leg!" Anne screamed; she bravely approached Dylan and me. With a reflex, Dylan also released his grip on my hair and allowed Anne to help me lie down on my bed.
When Anne screamed just now, that's when I realized there was blood flowing down my leg. Suddenly, I felt pain in my stomach; it was hot and cramping, and I was afraid my baby would be in more pain.
"DOCTOR ON THE PHONE!" I was surprised because it wasn't Dylan shouting, but Anne. Dylan just stood there in silence, not knowing what to do, until Anne's scream threw him into a panic.
Dylan immediately grabbed his phone to call the doctor he saw yesterday. I was asked to wait in the middle of my stomach, which was in so much pain.
I even cried while holding Anne's hand because I was afraid something would happen to my baby. If something happens to my baby, I might never be able to forgive myself.
"How about this? The doctor is taking so long," I said to Anne, crying.
"Yes, it's been over fifteen minutes. It looks like we need to go to the hospital. I'm going to see Mr. Dylan." Anne rushed out of my bed and ran outside to find Dylan. From here, I could hear Anne's conversation with Dylan, as Dylan was not far from my room.
"Sir, it's been over fifteen minutes; we need to save the lady and her baby immediately," Anne said.
"Then take Daniella to the hospital right now." Dylan's decision made Anne rush back into the room. Anne patiently helped me stand and walk toward the exit.
"Is the master going to let his wife walk to the car alone?" I don't know why Anne is so brave today. Anne even yelled at Dylan in the room earlier. I'm grateful that Dylan, who was also panicking, didn't immediately punish Anne or point a gun at her like he usually does.
Dylan approached me, carrying me downstairs thanks to Anne's words. I'm very sure Dylan did this because he was afraid of losing the potential southern heir. Didn't Dylan already admit that my baby and I were just tools for him? He must be afraid of losing his tools.
But I'm not thinking about anything right now; I just want to rush to the hospital and make sure my baby is okay.
Upon arriving at the hospital, we received excellent treatment, as if they knew a Dylan. I was given a VIP room, with the best doctors prepared to check my condition.
With a pounding heart, we saw the doctors from this hospital entering my room. The doctor examined my bladder immediately, as carefully as possible, to find out the cause. We also did an ultrasound to check the baby's condition.
"So far, there are no problems; the placenta is in the correct position. It seems the main cause is fatigue and mental stress, and it's likely your baby will be born earlier than expected, which we often call premature," the doctor said, then went back to examine my baby on the screen, flipping through the images to see if there were any other issues.
"Everything is quite good, but if there's any more bleeding, your baby might be ready to be born." The doctor's words didn't surprise me much; I just regretted that I was on a mission right now. I hope I still have time until I can focus completely on my child in the future.
"And ma'am, do you already know the gender of your baby? It seems this is very clear."
"Yes, doctor. Please tell us." Dylan suddenly became so enthusiastic. It seems he's hoping for a boy, but I hope I'm carrying a girl so this child won't bear the entire burden of being the successor to a mafia boss.
"Alright, I'll congratulate you, because you're going to have the right heir to the throne," the doctor said.
"So, the baby is a boy?"
