Chapter 252: Talk Sweetly To Me

Chapter 252: Talk Sweetly To Me
Kelly Anne's POV:

I couldn't help it as I looked down into Jasper's lap, and I lightly shook my head from side to side. I even closed my eyes for a moment. This particular moment was rather intense, and I couldn't help the smile that formed across my face. I was flooded with a sense of overwhelming joy and peace. Never before have I felt such a sensation that was as powerful as the one that flooded me over.

I then opened my eyes as I looked down at him for a moment, as my legs were positioned there between his knees. He lightly ran his fingers along this soft material that grazed the small of my lower back. I know what he was doing. He was trying to send chills down my spine as I had previously done something similar whenever I ran my fingers through his hair and down the sides of his neck.

I chuckled as I rocked my shoulders up and down, and then unintentionally caused myself to wince slightly in pain. No sooner than I made the sound, I tried to hide it from Jasper, but at that point, it was far too late. He heard it as my eyes went wide, and he stared intently at me. Apparently, I moved my shoulders a bit too much in that precise moment, and that alone caused pain to spark right through me.

Jasper reached up with his right hand and placed his hand on the point of my shoulder as he lightly ran his thumb over the bandage that covered the wound on the front side of my left shoulder. This time, as Jasper looked at me, his eyes softened when I looked deep into his eyes, and then he spoke, saying two simple words. "Be gentle, Meine Liebe."

"It's been a good minute since you last told me that," I spoke up without even thinking about it first.

"What is? You mean the phrase, 'Be gentle'?" Jasper asked as he raised his eyebrows and tilted his head slightly forward just a bit.

There was no way that I could hide the smile that crept across my lips at that precise moment as I tried not to openly laugh in front of him. I couldn't help as I closed my eyes and rolled my head back and around. At the same time, I whispered this short phrase to myself in that very moment. "Talk sweetly to me." I even grunted a bit as I grumbled when I said it. However, in saying so, I made a grave mistake by judging this statement before speaking openly, even though I said it in a light tone.

"I can do that," Jasper said, suddenly causing me to snap my neck, nearly getting a kink in the process as I forced myself to look at him directly.

Wait, did I say the quiet part out loud?! I abruptly reached up and placed my right hand on the left side of my neck as I attempted to rub the pain out that I unintentionally caused myself, as I looked at him in that abrupt manner.

"Be gentle," Jasper said suddenly whenever he stood up to his feet right in front of me. He moved so swiftly that I nearly kissed the bare skin of his stone-hard chest as I was forced to take a step back and landed in Jasper's hands as they were making sure I didn't take too many steps back at that exact moment. "The last thing I want you to do is injure yourself further, even if my an accident."

"Now, why would I do something like that on purpose?" I couldn't help but ask him playfully. "It's not like I anticipated you saying something like that."

"Good, and I plan on keeping it that way," Jasper said as he spoke, seriously catching me off guard.

I have to say, if I were taking a drink at that moment, I probably would've showered anybody in front of me. This is one of those bursting-out-loud-laughter kind of moments. It took me a few moments to recover from the apparent embarrassment, as well as nervous laughter, as Jasper remained silent with his hands placed just behind my shoulder blades, supporting my back. My hands were placed underneath his arms as I had them holding the back sides of Jasper's elbows.

"I didn't anticipate you saying something like that," I told him as I looked down.

Suddenly, I couldn't help where my eyes went. My eyes followed the muscles in his abdomen as they searched lower and lower until his skin hid behind the material of his lounge pants that were tied in place so that they would remain in place there on his hips. I swallowed hard. Hoping that Jasper didn't see the flush of my cheeks. To try to cover for the notion of my swallowing hard, I attempted to clear my throat, but was not all that successful in my former attempt.

At that moment, Jasper reached up, pulling his hands out from behind me when he placed them on either side of my arms just below my shoulders. He even started turning me around and, at the same time, spoke up, telling me what he wanted to do so I would not worry. I don't know why my mind went there, but it did. As he started to turn me to where my back was going to face his chest, I suddenly got fearful. I knew Jasper would never hurt me, but I couldn't help the notion of having my back face anyone, knowing that they could easily place their arms around my neck.

"Here, let me help you," Jasper said softly as I was now turned to the side. "I will go as slow as you need."

I couldn't help but as tears swelled in my eyes once more, knowing that I didn't deserve to be treated like this. There was no hiding the redness in my cheeks at this particular moment, as I had yet to face completely away from Jasper whenever he turned to look down at me. He stopped moving when he reached up with his hand so that he could place it on the underside of my chin. I didn't move, knowing what he was going to do. Instinctively, I reached up swiftly and grabbed his wrist, knowing what he was going to do.

A tear was about to be shed for my eye when he lifted my chin so that he could get a better look at my face. When he made sure that he was looking deep into my eyes, I knew there wasn't a doubt that he could see as the tears swelled even more.

"You know I would never do anything to hurt," Jasper said softly to me.

"Yes," I said, swallowing rather swiftly. "I don't mean to cry. I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to apologize for," Jasper said whenever he leaned down and placed one arm along the backside of my shoulders, grabbing a hold of the side of my arm as his other hand was still lightly placed on the bottom side of my chin.
