Chapter 95 - The Unforgiving Luna

The proposal wasn't the only surprise Kieran had for me. The next morning, he drove me to a quiet place.

He refused to say where we were going and I wondered on my own until I saw Ryan in the distance.

Excited, I ran towards him, catching him in an embrace as we laughed.

"You're fine, Freya. I was so worried for you. Thank goddess"

"I'm fine and you are too" I ruffled his hair and we both turned to look at Kieran.

"Even my brother is here. Just what is it you want to show me"

"Trust me and come with me" he smiled, leading the way as we followed him.

As we continued to walk, I could tell what this was.

A graveyard.

I came to a pause when Kieran stopped in front of two graves that were closely together.

I staggered forward as my eyes frantically searched for the names which I soon found.

Jameson, Aurora.

Tears brimmed in my eyes as I fell to my knees in front of their graves "Mom, Dad...."

"This is a joke right?" Ryan called from behind me, his voice chocked with emotions "Are you sure? Is it really them?" He asked Kieran.

"It is. The King had them buried here secretly and I just also recently found out"

"Thank you!!" I said "Thank you, Kieran"

Words couldn't explain how grateful I was. Seeing Mom and Dad here awakened emotions I hadn't felt in a long time. Knowing that their bodies didn't just disappear. They were buried right here and I could come talk to them when I wanted.

It brought to me a certain kind of relief and everything was less painful.

I couldn't remember when Kieran left but it was just I and Ryan. We talked to Mom and Dad for a very long time.

We told them everything that happened. We also joked around.

The time passed like that until Kieran came back to get us. We knew we had to leave but we will definitely visit sooner.

Ryan's smile was brighter than I had ever seen him and I was the only who could truly understand why.

Kieran drove us back and just when Ryan was about to leave, I asked him about his plan for himself.

He was quiet for a minute that I was starting to think he didn't have an answer to that.

"I'm going to travel" he said "After your marriage I mean. I need to make sure my sister is well settled in"

I smiled at that. "And then...?"

"Stop giving me that look, Freya"

"I will. Tell me what you really want to do and I'll stop"

Ryan licked his lips and didn't say anything.

"You were training to become a warrior"

"Not anymore"

"What do you want to do then?"

"I'm going to be a doctor"

"You don't even study, Ryan. What are you saying?"

"I can try. For now, that's where my heart lies. I want to be able to save people"

I sighed, "Fine. I'll see how that goes"

"You seriously shouldn't worry about me anymore"

"Why? Because you think you're all grown?"

"We're both grown"

"I'm still older so listen"

Ryan chuckled when I said that. "Older doesn't mean wiser"

My eyes narrowed at him and he ran out of the car when I raised my hands to hit him.

I stepped out of the car to see that someone else had stopped next to us and they were talking with Kieran.

"Mom? Dad?" I called out and they turned towards me with a smile.

"Hazel" Craig called as Patricia gave me a hug.

"We heard about the explosion and rushed here as soon as possible but you were still unconscious ."

"We're so glad you're awake and fine"

I smiled, noticing the bag Patricia was holding.

"Oh this?" She raised the bag up "I brought you some supplements that will boost the baby's health"

"Thank you, Mom" I said, tracing their gaze to see that they were looking at Ryan.

"Oh, I haven't introduced you guys. This is Ryan, my..." I swallowed, hesitanting a bit "My brother and Ryan meet Alpha Craig and Luna Patricia"

Ryan came forward and shook their hands.

"Nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you and it's bad that I haven't been able to thank you for taking such good care of Hazel. She must have been a handful" Ryan was suddenly talking like he was older and he was responsible for me which earned him a death glare from me.

"She wasn't a bother at all" Luna Patricia said.

"Hazel, you didn't tell me that you had a brother" said Alpha Craig.

"Yes. Because I thought he was..." I eyes Ryan.

"Dead?" He completed for me.

"I thought he was dead" I said to Dad "But it turned out, he was alive and was being hidden from the eyes of people ever since"

Craig was able to understand what I was trying to imply as he threw a nod my way.

"We are your family too, Ryan. So don't be so formal and come visit us when you have time" Patricia suggested.

Kieran held my waist and pulled me closer to himself ans we continued to talk about little things as we made our way inside.

After visiting Ava and praying for her to get well soon, we all gathered at the table for a dinner feast later at night.

Kieran should've taken care of Grayson by now. I didn't want the details so I didn't ask. I also do not want to think about him anymore.

Mom continued to give me tips that would ensure I and my baby to be in the best condition. I followed at the beginning but when she counted the twentieth tip, everything flew away from my brain.

She seemed very excited and I was happy.

"So, have you decided what to name him/her?" Mom asked.

"Not yet." I rubbed my belly "I have to visit the doctor first and determine it's sex when it's old enough"

"I have a suggestion, if it's a girl, you should name her Aubrey" Amelia suggested.

"Aubrey?" Logan frowned "That's tacky. You should name her Elora. Isn't that cute?."

"Elora". I repeated. It sounded very beautiful.

Raiden scoffed. "You all are looking for names and cannot find the best one."

"Do you have any suggestions?"

"No" Raiden answered.

"You'll be his/her Godfather and you're so nonchalant already"

Raiden looked up at us, shocked "I'll be his Godfather"

I glanced at Kieran to confirm this and he agreed, making me to nod at Raiden "You'll be hid Godfather"

"I can certainly think of a name" Raiden sat, putting his thumb fingers at the sides of his head as he thought about it.

After he while, he tilted his head and said "Ivanna? If it's a girl and if it's a boy, Alexander?"

"Ivanna? Alexander?" We all glanced at each other and we weren't satisfied with the names.

"Can you think again?"

"But those are beautiful names."

"Yeah, yeah, it is." me and Kieran had to agree even when we were not satisfied.

"It's a long time before the baby is born. So take your time and think about this properly" Kieran told him.

"I will." He answered and continued to eat along withe everyone else.

Kieran grabbed my hands under table and when I turned my head to him, he mouthed the words "I love you"

I blew him a kiss which he caught shamelessly as the others noticed our PDA display.

Raiden sighed, Logan followed, Amelia too while Mom and Dad asked them to let us be.

I stared at Kieran and he stared right back at me as if all he could see was me. I could hear everything he was saying to say to me through the mindlink.

"I love you. Always will love you and my unborn pup. I will make sure to keep all of you safe and happy. I will sacrifice everything just to see you smile, Freya Jameson. You're my everything"

Tears brimmed in my eyes as I squeezed his hands tight. "You're my everything, Kieran. Without you, I wonder if I'll be here. I'm so grateful I found you. I want us to grow old together and live to see our grand kids."

Could one even feel more happier than this? I wondered.

I couldn't help it anymore, I leaned forward and our lips met, ignoring the shock gasp of the others. Everything and every person around us crumbled into nothing, leaving us both in our own world.

A world with just us.
