Cruel pack
Andrew sighed and turned to look at the group of girls that were standing around the room with his hands on his waist.
"I can't do this alone," he said, stroking his chin.
Ava stood by the side of the dungeon with her hands crossed as Jackson opened the dungeon and threw Belle inside, along with other warriors who walked into the dungeon with a hammer and a plank and started using them to block the window of the dungeon.
Ava was about to step into the dungeon when Jackson pulled her back.
"You can't go in there. Let them do their jobs. You will distract them." Jackson said.
"Ava, please help me!" Belle said, sobbing with her hand on her chest. Ava closed her eyes and turned to the side, avoiding her gaze, but an image of her kept popping into her head.
"Bro, do you think what the alpha is about to do to my friend is the right thing to do?" Ava asked.
"Um, the alpha has never thought twice before eliminating everyone that he thinks is a threat to him. As for your question, I think he is doing the right thing for this pack." Jackson replied.
"I can't believe you are also in support of the dreadful thing that he is trying to do." Ava whimpered. Jackson felt like the alpha was looking for her instead and the seer confused Belle for her. Although Belle was going to get killed, he was relieved that Ava was safe and she would still train more so she could defeat the Alpha.
"I am not in support of anything. Even if I disagree with what he is about to do, I will not say anything about it. I am just his beta, that he doesn't listen to." Jackson replied.
"My hatred for the alpha has grown even more. I will try my best to save Belle with or without your help!" Ava said, and stomped away.
Jackson shook his head and watched as the warriors stepped out of the dungeon, locking it with a big padlock.
"Ava's brother, please help me. I am the only child of my parents." Belle begged with tears like pearls dripping down her face. The warriors handed the key to Jackson, who took it and held it. Belle was making him feel uneasy and he wanted to help her. He held tightly to the key. If he interfered, he was only going to make matters worse. Maybe the death of Belle would keep Carlos' eyes off Ava. He thought and started walking away with the warriors who followed him.
"Thank goodness we are free and we are going to have a good night's sleep once again," one of the warriors exclaimed, stretching his muscles.
"Not so fast. Who is going to take the girls back to their different homes?" Jackson asked.
"Shit! I forgot about that." the warrior said as they made their way into the living room and found out two groups of girls were gone.
Jackson eyed Jordan walking out of the house with his bag of money.
"Wait right there! Where are the other girls?" He asked, but Jordan just ran away without looking back, scared that Jackson was going to lock him up in the dungeon again.
Jackson walked over to a group of girls who were shaking like snakes as they stared at him, he felt like a beast.
"Don't be scared. I am not going to hurt you. I just want to know where the others are." Jackson said.
"You are not going to hurt us? But you just took a girl away, and you are going to kill her." One of them said.
"Just answer the damn question!" Jackson declared in a rumbling tone.
"They have been taken away by one of the twin brothers. We don't know where he is taking them, but we think he is going to steal them or kill them." A girl whimpered.
"You don't have to worry; he is taking them home. I am also here to take you guys home. Come with me." Jackson said and started walking ahead of them, and the other warriors stood behind the girls, guiding them out of the castle.
Jackson arrived with two trucks and opened the doors of the trucks. The girls entered, while some refused to enter, claiming that they knew their way home from the castle.
Jackson let them go, although he felt a form of responsibility towards them. He got into one of the trucks and drove off, leaving the back of the truck open so the girls wouldn't suffocate in it, and yelling when they had reached their destination.
Ava left the castle and went home to Sena, whom she ate with and told everything. Sena was shocked and also thought Ava was the one they were really looking for.
"I can't let them kill Belle; she is the only true friend I have now that Lucas is married." Ava said.
"Don't get yourself involved in the alpha's business. You know what happened last time." Sena said.
"I know mom, but I can't neglect Belle. She is my best friend. She is going to get killed tomorrow." Ava whimpered.
"I know you are a warrior now, but our family has suffered enough from the alpha. Don't make him give us another punishment. I know this time it will be worse." Sena said. Ava got up from the couch with a frown and folded her hands, glaring at her mother.
"I must look for a way to save her, even if I have to blame it on someone else." Ava said.
"You will do no such thing. I am pretty sure school will resume tomorrow or next. Don't get yourself involved. You are just a girl." Sena said.
"A girl with a unique ability. I can turn invisible. Remember, I can just use my power to steal the key to the dungeon and sneak to the dungeon at night to rescue Belle and take her to a safe place to hide from the alpha." Ava said with a smirk.
