Chapter 94: SUPER HERO

"You are not a superhero; you need to mind your business," Sena said.

"Belle is my business. What will I tell her parents if they come looking for her?" Ava said.

"You just have to tell them the truth and they will look for a way to save their daughter from the alpha, not you." Sena said.

"The alpha might be a ruthless man, but I will try my best to overcome him and save my friend." Ava declared, with her head held high, and ran away to her room.

"She is such a stubborn girl. I wonder if her mother was like this. I don't think she suffered that much in the castle. If she did, she wouldn't be acting this way or trying to go against the alpha," Sena said and started walking to Ava's room. She opened the door and peeped into the room. Ava was sleeping peacefully on the bed, facing the other side of the room. Sena gently closed the door and locked it, using a huge padlock to lock her in.

"I am sorry honey, this is the only thing I can think of." she muttered to herself and walked to the kitchen when her phone started ringing. She picked up the call and realized it was Jackson.

"Hey mom, how are you doing?" he asked.

"I am fine, and you?" Sena inquired.

"I am doing quite well. I have been out all day and couldn't keep a close eye on Ava. She is angry at me. Is she perhaps at home? Because I can't find her in the castle, and she was supposed to train with the other warriors today, " Jackson said.

"She is at home, sleeping peacefully in her room. She is trying to go against the alpha by saving her friend. I have tried to talk her out of it, but she wouldn't listen. I have locked her in her room for today, so she won't be able to come out till tomorrow." Sena said.

"You are a genius, mom. That's the best option, but you have to put snacks in her room and keep her there until tomorrow afternoon, when we would have killed her friend." Jackson said this with a hurtful tone in his voice.

"I can't believe the alpha would kill a young girl in the name of securing his throne," Sena said.

"If he can get a baby and her parents killed just to take over the throne, what can't he do?" Jackson inquired.

"You are right, I will make sure Ava is not able to escape." Sena assured.

"I will send warriors to seal the windows in her room. We can't take any chances she is going to raise suspicions and make the alpha think she is a threat." Jackson said.

"Don't worry, son, I have things under control." Sena beamed.

As soon as Jackson shoved his phone into his pocket, Andrew walked over to him and put his hand around his shoulder.

"Who were you talking to? Your girlfriend?" Andrew asked, raising a brow.

"I don't have a girlfriend or a mate. I think the moon goddess wants me to focus on being the best beta," Jackson said, removing his hand from his shoulder.

"That means you are mate-less, you don't have a missing rib, there is no one that can make you more powerful." Andrew said with a smile.

"Yea, something like that," Jackson said, looking at the other warriors who were running around the field playing with water guns.

"There is no such thing as being mate-less. I think your mate is in another pack; you just haven't seen her." Andrew said.

"I don't want to see her." Jackson said, walking out on him.

Anthony ran to Andrew and held his shirt.

"Have you seen Ava? I think she is avoiding me. I have looked everywhere for her and can't find her." Anthony said, sweating profusely.

"I don't think she is in this castle. If she were, she would be here. She might have gone home." Andrew concluded.

"I am going there to get her; she can't hide from me forever," Anthony said, attempting to walk away.

"Can't you see that she doesn't want to talk to you?" Andrew asked.

"Wait!! Don't go to her, she has been grounded." Jackson said.

"Why?" Anthony asked with his mouth hanging loosely.

"Because she is trying to save her friend and it will cause a lot of trouble," Jackson said.

"I hope she is grounded only for a day. I can't live without that bitch." Anthony said, and sauntered away.

"My sister is not a bitch punk!" Jackson exclaimed and fell to the ground doing push-ups. Andrew joined him.

"Don't you have a girlfriend anymore? You are always around these days." Jackson remarked.

"I don't need a girlfriend; I already have a girlfriend." Andrew said with a smile.

"She is..." Jackson cut in.

"I don't want to know about her. You can keep the descriptions to yourself." Jackson scoffed.

Later that night.

Jackson was cuddled up in his bed, looking up at the ceiling. At the sound of the pack clock, he knew that it was 12:00 pm and he had planned to go see Alexander. He got up from his bed and strolled out of his room, looking at the hallway to see if anyone was there, but there were only sleeping warriors. He grinned and slowly closed his door so as not to make a sound.

He started walking down the hallway, and the lights in the castle went off. As a cold breeze started blowing into the castle, he switched on the torch on his phone and started using it to see. He arrived at Alexander's dungeon and saw him sleeping on the floor with the acid on the other side of the room, but the bottle seemed empty. He narrowed his eyes at the bottle.

"Hey Alex, wake up." he whispered, trying not to make a sound so the warriors sleeping beside him wouldn't wake up. Alexander was still snoring on the floor.

"What should I do?" he thought, looking around the place.
