Chapter 92 One dead?
THIRD PERSON'S POV
“Ericson!” Dylan shouted at the top of his lungs.
It felt like time had stopped as the large black wolf turned back into his human form.
Ericson fell on the ground, bleeding profusely from the wound on his stomach.
He looked up at Felicia in surprise, his eyes filled with betrayal.
Even after he was shot with a silver bullet when he found out that the dungeons were under attack, he was worried about his sister. When he saw her standing in fear, he couldn't think about anything and rushed to save her.
He even killed the rogue head without capturing him and asking him to ask his people to drop the idea of capturing their pack.
But who would have thought the person he risked it all for would end up giving him the most fatal wound?
“What did you do? How could you? He risked his life to save you, Felicia! Do you hate us?” Dylan asked as he rushed to his brother's side.
However, before he could even touch him, a few rogues came from behind him and held him back.
He growled, pushing the rogues away, who returned to hold him.
He was about to kill him, wanting to be closer to his twin brother, but the scene before him made him pause and look at his sister with wide eyes.
Felicia stood there with her foot almost on top of Ericson's head.
“If you don't want me to kill him here and now, stop resisting,” Felicia said.
The pack members were soon brought to the centre of the pack where their alphas were.
Zishan and Alen were severely wounded, along with some female soldiers who were pushed to the ground and forced to kneel before everyone.
Dylan looked at his defeated men, but even then, all he could think about was his brother, coughing up blood.
“Felicia, what are you doing? Keith is dead. How could you attack your own brother?” Dylan asked.
If he thought his words were going to bring some kind of sense into the woman's head, he was wrong in so many ways.
The girl tinted her head before she chuckled.
“Fools. All of you. I knew you weren't fit to run this pack. Did you really think I returned because I ran away from the rogues? I returned because I am the one who paved the way for those rogues,” Felicia said, his words slicing through their hearts.
Ericson, who was coughing blood on the ground, looked up in horror.
“Y-you, how could you say that? What did we ever do to you? Is Dylan right? Do you really hate us? Even after everything we did for you?” Ericson asked.
Felicia chuckled darkly before she placed her foot down, forcing Ericson's face back on the ground with a venomous expression.
“You did it for me?” She asked before she told them the truth.
She hadn't died.
When she fell in love with Ronaldo and couldn't have him, she asked the alphas for help, but they forbade it since Ronaldo wasn't her mate and couldn't be forced.
Felicia knew if she were the ruler of the pack, she could have gotten Ronaldo for herself. And she knew if she wanted to be the alpha, she would need to conspire to kill her brothers.
That was the reason she had been hiding and plotting for so long.
She wasn't alone in this. There was someone else helping her.
Felicia turned to her left, and as soon as she did, everyone saw a man in black enter.
Dylan's pupils dilated when he saw who it was.
“Xavier?” He muttered.
Wasn't he one of the rogues they had helped back then and even sent him to their help centre?
“Thanks for the help. Because of you, I never had to worry about my meals while plotting,” Xavier smirked.
“Meet my mate, Xavier,” Felicia said, explaining how everything was part of a long plan they had been executing for years.
Xavier's presence in their pack was to plant a spy from the beginning, but he was caught, and they couldn't succeed at that time.
In fact, even today, she was the one who opened the doors of the west borders and allowed the rogues from the hidden path inside their pack house that only their family knew about.
Keith was working for her from the beginning. Even Angelica's kidnapping was planned by her.
Honestly, she hadn't thought the girl would leave. She was hoping to torture her slowly until she accepts death, or she could've become a good slut to appease her rogue friends.
“Felicia!” Dylan roared in anger when he heard what plans she had for their mate.
Ericson was immediately consumed by guilt and regret.
“And do you know the best part? Don't you wonder how I was able to control you guys and change your perceptions every time? I learned psychic manipulation from a siren while I was out there. It definitely came in handy,” Felicia said proudly.
She turned to Xavier and kissed him passionately before her brothers, her heels digging into Ericson's head, making the man gurgle as he was losing more and more blood.
Seeing his brother's health deteriorating like this, Dylan looked around helplessly, unsure how to help him as the ache in his heart was only increasing with every second.
“Please don't torture him like this. You didn't even want Ronaldo anymore. If it's just about the pack, I am ready to give it to you. Just leave us alone. We will leave. All of us. Please show some mercy. We are your people, your brothers,” Dylan pleaded.
As long as his people were alright, building a new pack wouldn't be a problem. Besides, once they get back on their feet, they'll get this pack back, but…
“Do you take me as a fool? Do you think I would make the same mistake you guys did? Leaving you all alive will be like signing off on my future death. I am not even your true sister,” Felicia smirked, dropping another bomb on the twins.
“Did mom and dad never tell you the truth? I was adopted. Your mother, Luna, couldn't conceive for a long time. She pretended to be pregnant just to adopt me. It wasn't until later when she conceived you two,” Felicia chuckled darkly before she turned to the rogues.
“Do you want to have some fun?” She asked.
The rogues around immediately nodded with big evil grins on their faces.
“Well, there are plenty of women here. All of them have a nice body, and most of them are unmated too. As the new Alpha of the Blood Martial Pack, I allow you all to do whatever you want with them. If you want to torture the guys, they are yours too. And yeah, the children are in the dungeons for the people with different tastes,” Felicia said.
As soon as she said that, the rogues circling them laughed while Xavier chuckled.
The pack members shuddered in horror.
Dylan froze. Tears welled in his eyes, not of frustration but pure fury. If he were going to die today anyway, he wouldn't let any rogue touch his pack member until he was alive.
He would fight till the end.
“You are rotten till the end. If I knew we were raising such a snake, I would've pulled that heart out with my bare hands,” Dylan hissed with fury.
“I dare you all to touch my members until I am alive!” Ericson grabbed Felicia’s foot and pushed her with all his strength, making the girl's body hit the nearby tree before she fell on the ground.
Dylan also stood and nodded.
The pack members who had been kneeling also stood. If they were going to die anyway, they would die fighting, not losing their identity and dignity.
They all nodded at their alphas.
They won't let these monsters touch their children as long as they are alive.
