Olivia's P.O.V:

A week later...

Everyone was quite busy the whole week, including me. Taking preparation for the upcoming war was a very hard task.

Lucas, Alex, Benjamin three of them busy had to stay busy all day long but still, they managed to get time for me.

I don't have any regret that I gave them a chance. They truly deserved it.

Ava and I got surprisingly close. She and I both used to pass our time talking with other female members and omegas while everyone was busy preparing for the pack. She was now included in the list of my favorite persons.

It wasn't like we were always free, we also had to stay busy with the preparation. I and Ava trained the members along with handling other kinds of stuff. The Training even used the take the whole day sometimes.

Today's pressure was less as I and Ava finished the training and our pack's preparation was at its best.

We were completely ready to fight anytime. We don't even have a little bit of doubt in our minds.

The pack borders are completely secured.

But one thing that was bothering me that the Gamma knew about the security method of our borders, and there's a high chance that he's involved with the rouges and it's a big threat for our pack's safety and to our pack member's life.

The rouges were brave enough to challenge us for an open fight. They sent a message that they want it to be a fair war though the fair word doesn't suit them. They took over every pack by rapine and they wanted an open fight when it came to us.

Idk how they got this much confidence, their confidence was giving so much fear to some pack members.

They got the guts to tell us the attacking date, which was extremely surprising and doubtful. So we didn't believe them at first but slowly they are proving their words. There was no attack till now and as the attacking date they told us was coming we were getting more prepared.

We were always prepared and still, we are prepared.

No matter how much the Gamma tries, I won't let him win this time. I don't know how I'm gonna do it but the only one thing I know that I've to do it.

I've to stop him at any cost.

I decided to give my mind a little rest and now I and Naomi are preparing her favorite snacks.

"

Luna let us help you both, please." One of the omegas pleaded but was shushed immediately by Naomi.

"We both can do this." Naomi said and stood on a stool picking the packet of cheese.

"At least, let me help." Ava said and this time I shushed her.

"Finger on your lip." Naomi told Ava with a glare and Ava's mouth hung open in shock.

"Come." I giggled and beckoned Naomi to come closer to me.

Naomi didn't waste a minute to jump in my arms.

I placed her on my hip and wrapped my hands around her.

"My beautiful Angel, it wasn't nice. Say sorry to mommy." I said and Naomi bit her tongue as realization hit her that she just glared at her mom.

Naomi looked at Ava who had a serious expression on her.

"Sorry, momma." Naomi said with her eyes looking a little wide as she noticed Ava's serious expression.

Ava stood quiet for some time, having a staring contest with Naomi.

I looked at both mother and daughter curiously.

A few moments later Ava started laughing and Naomi giggled.

"You're becoming very notorious, future ruler." Ava kissed Naomi's cheeks which made Naomi giggle more.

"Would you mind making it for you dads and Alphas?" I asked and Naomi immediately shook her head.

"Okay, then let's prepare it." I nuzzled her nose and she repeated my actions by doing the same with me.

Suddenly one thing hit my mind, where are we gonna keep Naomi during this whole fight? Should we keep her where we were going to keep Brain uncle?

"Ava, have you decided where you gonna keep Naomi. She's too little to fight and we can't risk anything happening to her." I looked at Naomi who still has a smile on her face unaffected by my words.

"We can keep her with Brain uncle, we have ensured his safety very nicely, so Naomi.." I couldn't finish as Ava cut me off.

"We don't need to keep Naomi anywhere." Ava said chuckling and my eyes widen with shock.

Was she even serious?

"What are you even saying, Ava?" I asked slightly disappointed and confused at the same time.

Then I noticed Naomi snickering.

"Naomi show it to your pretty Luna." Ava giggled and Naomi nodded.

Naomi got down from my hip and stood in front of me.

I looked at both mother and daughter with confusion clear in my expression.

"1...2..." Naomi started counted.

"3.." Naomi said and in a heartbeat, she vanished.

I stood there utterly shocked but soon panicked and started to search for Naomi.

"Ava, where's Naomi?" I asked looking everywhere to find her.

I was shocked to the beyond.

"Don't worry, Olivia. She's here with us." Ava laughed, she definitely enjoyed seeing my shocked state.

"Where?" I asked.

"Here." Naomi's voice boomed and I felt little hands wrapping around my legs.

I looked back and saw Naomi who was standing with a huge grin.

Questions filled my mind.

She just vanished completely and now she was just standing in front of me.

"How did you do that?" I asked and quickly picked her up in my arms.

"Gift." Naomi said and I looked at Ava curiously.

"She got a gift from moon goddess, she can vanish if she wants. It's her special power which makes her so unique." Ava smiled.

"That's why you could understand that I also got a gift?" I asked as everything started making sense to me.

"Yes." Ava replied.

"So, why can't I use my powers?" I asked confused.

Ava said Naomi got a gift and she's so little still she's able to use her powers and I don't even know what my power actually is.

Ava chuckled and said " Big things take time to reveal themselves."

"You know what's my power, don't you?" I asked and Ava shook her head.

"I only know that your eyes are associated with fire. There's nothing clear written about the biggest gift. Those rays indicate fire. " Ava said.

So these rays indicate fire. And my powers are in my eyes. It's my power but I don't even know how to use it and what it exactly is.

"Don't put so much pressure on your brain, Olivia. Moon goddess will show you the path when the right path will come." Ava said getting me out of my thoughts.

"You're right." I nodded in agreement.

Ava was right, I shouldn't think much. Moon goddess would let me know when she wants.

"Let's make it Luna." Naomi suddenly said pointing to the dough.

"Okay." I smiled pecked her cheeks.






The whole cooking time went with Naomi on my hip and both of us singing different songs while I prepare the snacks.

Ava occasionally joined our singing performances and the main singer was our Naomi and her mic was a spatula.

While singing with Naomi on my hip, It made me remember about Lucy aunty. Aunty used to do the same with me.

We used to have our little singing performances every day. Brian uncle and dad used to join occasionally, dad was somehow good at singing but Brian uncle was terrible.

Alex, Lucas and Benjamin always found it childish but still they used to make videos of the performance me, dad, aunty and uncle used to have.

The most important part was the Gamma, he used to come to the room to join us but Lucy aunty and uncle used to stop singing to tease him and he used to frown until we start singing again. I feel so disgusted when I remember about the happy moments I spent with the Gamma.

I could never even think that he would do something like that until that horrible night.

He backstabbed my dad who was his best friend and saved his life for so many times moreover he backstabbed his own brother and sister-in-law.

Even before that horrible night all of us were playing tennis so playfully including the Gamma, like a family.

I always considered him as my family. He held such an important place in my life like Brian uncle.

But in the end, I had to face the harsh reality. All of that behavior was just skillfully done acting by the Gamma.

People mask themself so nicely that we can't even get a glimpse of their true self and when the time comes they backstab us so purely that it leaves our life shattered into so tiny pieces that we fail to collect it even after trying a whole lifetime.

But karma never forgets, he'll definitely pay for his deeds. Sooner or later his karma will get back to him making him crumble on the ground.
