Chapter 33
Olivia's P.O.V:

I woke up as sunlight hit my face.

I opened my eyes slowly but quickly closed them again as direct sunlight hit my face.

I heard a very familiar chuckle and then felt a pair of strong arms picking me up and making me sit straddling him.

I exactly knew who it was.

I hide my face in his neck and inhaled his scent.

"Good morning, Olivia." He said rubbing my back.

"Good morning, Alex. " I mumbled hugging him.

"No mood to get up?" Alex chuckled and I nodded and he chuckled more.

"But, you need to because everybody is waiting for us downstairs. " Alex said and I raise my head to look at him.

"Where's Lucas and Benjamin?" I asked looking at him.

It was easy for me to know their presence. Because of the mate bond, I can easily sense their presence or absence.

"They're downstairs with the pack members. " Alex said and kissed my cheek.

" Oh." I replied.

"Now, go and get freshen up. We'll have to head downstairs." Alex said and I nodded.

"Okay." I said.

I got off his Lap and went inside the bathroom.

After taking my own sweet time in getting ready and freshening up, I exited the bathroom.

Alex who was busy on his phone looked at me. A smile took place on his lips.

"Done?" Alex asked smiling.

"Yes." I smiled and he stood up.

He came closer and took my hand in his.

"Let's go," Alex said and started taking me with him.

We headed downstairs but Alex stopped midway.

I looked at him confused.

"Don't you think you forgot something?" Alex asked grinning.

"No. What can I forget?" I asked extremely confused.

"If you don't remember let me remind you," Alex said and pulled me extremely close to him.

I yelped because of the sudden movement.

He smirked playfully and came closer to my lips.

Slowly he placed a lingering kiss on my lips.

I responded immediately.

He broke the kiss after a couple of minutes and looked at me smiling.

"This is what you forgot." He said placed a quick peck on my lips.

"I won't forget from now." I giggled and kissed the bridge of his nose.

"Thank you. Now let's go, they must be starving." Alex chuckled and placed his hand on the back of my waist.

"Okay." With that, we both headed downstairs.

"Babe we'll be in our study. If you need something please just link us." Lucas kissed my forehead.

"Okay." I smiled.

"Take care of yourself." Benjamin hugged me from back and nuzzled my neck.

I nodded and leaned in his touch.

"Guys, let's go. We all know we won't be able to leave if we keep looking at her like this " Alex chuckled making me blush.

"You're right." Lucas said.

"Bye, Olivia." Benjamin said softly in my ear giving me a shiver and moved away making my body crave for his touch.

I didn't want them to go but I couldn't stop them, after all, it's about the pack.

They need to work for the pack.

Alex, Benjamin , Lucas three of them left the room saying goodbye to me.

I sighed and sat on the bed.

"What should I do?" I thought then an idea popped in my brain.

"I can visit Brian Uncle. It would be perfect." I smiled and proceed to go to Brian Uncle's room.

I reached Uncle's room and opened the door slowly.

I walked toward Uncle's bed and sat beside him.

He was looking at the ceiling as always. No movement present in him.

It's unbelievable how dangerous the poison was.

The world's strongest Alpha is now paralyzed and helpless.

I just hope uncle will recover soon.

"How are you, my hero?" I smiled and took Uncle's hand in mine.

"Yeah, yeah I know you're always great." I said laughing thinking about the interactions we used to do in the past.

I kept making small talks though I was getting no reply still it wasn't boring.

After talking continuously to my uncle, I looked at the watch I almost kept talking non-stop for 1 hour.

I bit my tongue.

"Poor uncle, I might have made his ears hurt till now." I facepalmed myself.

"I think I've made hurt your ears enough. I should go now." I chuckled and covered uncle with a Blanket.

"I'll visit you later." I smiled and kissed uncle on the cheek.

Then I exited the room.

I closed the door and started walking back to my room.

"It's almost 1 hour. I should pay a visit to see what they are doing." I thought while walking.

"Yeah, let's go." Eleanor jumped in happiness.

"So now, you got time to talk to me?" I asked.

"I was talking with.." Eleanor couldn't complete it as I finished the sentence for her.

"Brent, Aron, Asher." I grinned and Eleanor giggled.

"You can't blame me, you're also busy with mates all day long," Eleanor said making me blush.

"Now we both should stop teasing each other otherwise we would be late." I chuckled and Eleanor nodded.

I started walking again and I was pretty close to their study.

As I was very close to the door I heard their voices.

"I can't keep acting like this. I can't do which doesn't come naturally" It was Benjamin's voice.

"But we have to do this. We don't have any other option." It was Lucas's voice.

What are they talking about?

"It's torture when I see that thing in front of me and can't take revenge." It was Alex's voice and then I heard the sound of something breaking.

"What if they get hurt." I tensed and quickly entered the room.

As I entered the room their eyes widen seeing me.

I couldn't understand the reason as I was tensed enough thinking about them being hurt by the object which was broken which made me forget about their conversation which I just heard.

I looked at the floor and saw a broken Vase.

A sigh of relief left my mouth seeing them unharmed.

"When will you all stop being clumsy?" I asked and they looked at each other then at me.

"When did you come here ?" Alex asked with a smile and came closer to me.

"Just answer me." I snapped and he looked at me shocked.

"It was an accident. Don't worry we are not that weak that a vase will take our lives." Lucas chuckled earning a glare from me.

Till then I completely had forgotten about the conversation completely.

If I had paid more attention to the conversation I heard before.

"Okay, sorry. Now don't give that expression." Benjamin laughed and came closer to me.

Benjamin pulled me in a hug and kissed the side of my head.

"You were bored?" Benjamin asked with a slight chuckle.

"Nope." I answered and he frowned.

"Don't lie." Benjamin said laughed making me frown this time.

"I'm not lying. I wasn't bored." I said pulling away from him.

"I was with uncle." I said and his mouth formed an "O" form in acknowledgment.

"Okay, now come here." Lucas beckoned me to go to him.

I went toward him and he quickly picked me up then placed me on the desk.

"What you wanna do now?" Lucas asked smirking and stood between my legs.

The position made the awfully familiar red tint appear on my cheeks again.

He came closer to me putting both of his hands on both sides of my waist.

"Something dirty or something..." Lucas trailed off.

"Stop." I slapped his chest embarrassed.

"Do you actually want that?" Benjamin asked biting his bottom lips looking at me in a questioning manner.

That was damn hot!

"Uh-I-I.." I couldn't complete it as Alex cut me off.

"We know the answer already." Alex smirked and Benjamin walked to the door closed it .

Unknown's P.O.V :

"How long do I have to keep acting like this Brooke? It's been six years. I can't pretend anymore. " I asked frustrated.

"Just a few more days. We can't risk her suspecting you. She trusts you enough and that would make it easy for us to kill her and Her mates are against her now. She won't have the willpower once she'll find the truth." Brooke laughed at the last part and smoked his cigarette.

"What if they told her about me?" I asked tensely.

"They won't. They are so easy to manipulate. And they trust me blindly, the whole world knows it and there's no way they are not going to trust you, you're the closest to her." Brooke said.

"But What would we do about Erik? He's trying hard to find the truth about that night. He even came to my room last day asking about what happened six years ago." I said and His gaze snapped to me.

"What did you told him?" He asked hurriedly.

"I said what you told me to, basically the truth. I wasn't in the packhouse." I said and Brooke nodded and left a sigh of relief.

"Erik isn't easy to handle. Honey, I think we should..." Before I could complete the sentence he gripped my face harshly making me whine in pain and grabbed my hair roughly.

"Don't you ever dare to complete the sentence. I might have fucked you a couple of times but that doesn't mean I've given you the place of my mate. Erik is my son and if anyone thinks of laying a finger on him I'll cut that person into tiny pieces. Do you understand?" He shouted on my face and I nodded getting eager to get free of his grip.

His eyes were dark enough to make me fear for life.

I was feeling my jaw would be broken soon if he doesn't release me from his grip.

He roughly pushed me away and stood straight.

" Don't behave like you're my mate because you're not. No one can ever take the place of Celine. So don't ever think so. Do you understand? " He shouted at the last part and I nodded quickly.

His words didn't affect me as I also didn't love him or cared for him. It's only about power and position.

His company will give me power and that's what I want.

Just a few more days and we would be ruling the world. What more can anyone want?

I've waited so many years for this and now it's finally going to happen.

Finally, we will be going to finalize the attack.

The whole werewolf nation will be under our control as soon we will win the attack.

"Good. You want power so stick on that goal only. Don't try to pretend to be my lover or carer. We both know we don't care a little bit for each other. " He said and moved to his desk.
