CHAPTER 60

"He's different from Alejandro,more calm but I've seen Alejandro is another person when he's with you.He treats you differently compared to all the mistresses he had over the years do you know it took him a whole year to date again after you broke up."

"He did."Abby whispered,so she hadn't been the only one who had had a tough time in moving on.

"You hold a special place in his heart Abby don't doubt that just because he said so,men have different ways of expressing their love you know that we women don't hide we show it openly."

"You're right.I have to stay positive if I want things to work out between me and Alejandro.Thanks for the talk."

"We're sisters now."Abby bent over to give her a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you when I leave but I want you to visit every chance you get."

"Arturo told me you were moving.When?"

"Next week."

"I expect a house warming invitation."

"You don't even have to ask.I'm heading inside can I get you anything."

"No,it's time for Bella's nap."

Abby spent the rest of the day upstairs in their bedroom she was missing Alejandro and has so many questions.Does she really hold a special in his heart or in his life can they move forward and live happily ever after.

She loves him enough to fight for him no matter the hardships they will face she'll stand by him regardless of what will happen in the near future she won't make the mistake of letting him go a second time.They've been given a second chance and she'll prove to him how much she truly loves him,he will accept it. Taking her cell she buzzed him,he answered immediately.

"Abigail."His sexy deep drawl makes her skin tingle.

"Hey,just calling to see how you holding up."

"I'm fine.Is Alejandra home?"

"No,I'll fetch her in an hour or so.Will you come home tonight."He went quiet. "Alejandro are you still there?"

"No,I have work to take care of."

Abby's heart sank."Don't shut me out Alejandro.I want to be there for you."

"After fetching Alejandra head over to the apartment I'll meet you there."

"Okay.See you soon."Abby was so excited and cannot wait to see him the next hour felt like a life time,when it was time to leave she informed Mariana but said she wasn't sure if they'll come home or not but she'll call to let her know.Ally had a huge satisfy smile on her face when Abby picked her up."You had fun."

"Loads and loads of fun Melissa is a nice and I like her can I invite her over for my birthday next year."

"Yes you can,all your friends are welcome."

"I told them we'll have my birthday on daddy's island they can't wait to see it."

"Ally honey you shouldn't have told them that,we haven't discussed it with your father first."

"Daddy said it's okay,he told me I can get anything I want."

"Daddy is spoiling you sweetie."And I'm gonna have a serious talk with him later on she thought.

"Where are we going?"

"We going to see daddy.Ally sweetie mommy needs to talk to you about grandpa."

"What's wrong with grandpa."

"We'll talk once we reach daddy's."

"Am I in trouble for going into grandpa's room."

"No,you not."Abby reassured her.Getting to the hotel was rather quick and after parking the car they went upstairs."Do you want anything?"

"No,I'm full.Where's daddy."

"He's coming sweetie.Come let's sit down."When they were comfortable Abby asked her."How did you know where grandpa's room was."

"I saw grandma coming out of it and I asked her who's room it was she told me it's grandpa's."

"How many times have you been in there."

"Only once when grandpa touched me.Is daddy angry?"

"No."

"Will grandpa be okay?"

"Yes sweetie he'll be okay."

"I only went to read him a story."Ally said.

"I know you did,don't look so sad you did nothing wrong and no one is mad at you especially daddy."Abby pulled her tiny form in for a hug."I love you."

"When is daddy coming?"

"He'll be here soon.In the meantime why don't you tell me how much fun you had at the party while we wait for daddy."Abby listened to her for the next fifteen minutes not long after Alejandro came,Ally ran to him he lifted her high up in his arms before giving her warm loving kiss on the cheek.

"My princess,did you miss me as much as I missed you."

"More."Ally said.

"Aren't I a lucky father.Did you have fun at the party."

"I did.Everyone was nice."

"I'm glad."He sat down and let Ally sit on his lap.

"How is grandpa?Are you and grandma mad that I was in his room.I only went to read him a story that's all,I'm sorry if I did anything wrong."

"You did nothing wrong princess and no one is mad at you."The gentleness with which he talks to Ally was astonishing,the man before her wasn't the same man who'd forced her to marry him,he's different around their daughter his behavior and attitude said it all."Grandpa loved the story you read to him because of you he's getting better,there's no need for you to feel sad."

"I also feel better after you and mommy read me a story."

"Well your story made grandpa feel better."Alejandro was glad his father was on the road to recovery after so many years,the joy on his mother's face had been priceless and he'll finally get a chance to talk to his father,make amends and apologise for his past mistakes,he looked at Abby all he wanted to do was pull her close and lose himself in her scent at least in her arms he can forget for a while,she was staring at him with so much love in her eyes.A love he knows too well and want to return but he's afraid that history will repeat itself for time being he'll forget and allow himself to let her in."Come here?"He softly commanded,she complied he embraced both of them,they were his family,his home."I'm sorry for my behaviour earlier on."

She grabbed his hand and kissed it."Don't apologise especially to me,I understand."

"Would you mind spending another night here just us three."

"As long as we together I don't care where we are."

"We don't have any clothes."Ally cut in.Abby smiled and kissed her cheek somehow she'd known Alejandro would want them to stay.

"Good thing I brought clothes for you."

"What about you and daddy."

"Don't worry about your mother and I princess."Abby knew that look all too well he was planning on seeing and having her naked for as long as he can and she can't wait."I made reservations downstairs for dinner,it's in an hour."

"I can't go like this Alejandro and I haven't brought anything to wear."She was still wearing black pants,and a purple crop top with her back bare,black stiletos were on her feet."Why didn't you warn me earlier on."
