Kieran’s POV
After breakfast Jess went to get ready for school while I got dressed in my suit for work. I was excited about dropping her off and staking my claim on her so that all the boys know that she is mine. I was honestly surprised that she did not already have a boyfriend as she is hot. She grabbed her school bag, and we walked to my car.
“Are you excited about coming to work after you finish school?” I asked her once we started driving.
“I am excited to hang out with you again after school” She confessed “I really enjoyed last night”
“Don’t worry, I plan on spending plenty more nights with you” I told her as I pulled up outside her school and saw a bunch of boys look over and check out my car. I quickly got out and went around to Jess’s door to open it for her. When she got out, I pulled her flush against me and kissed her. I felt her melt against me as I made sure to support her. Once I was happy that everyone would know she was mine I pulled away and reached into the car to grab out her bag. “Have a good day at school and I will pick you up after. By the way you look hot in that school uniform” I winked at her as I walked back around to the driver’s side and climbed into the car. I spared a glance at the group of boys and saw them all looking at Jess with open mouth. I smirked to myself as I made my way back home to grab the company car. I placed my weapons back on my body before making my way to the warehouse. As soon as I arrived Grahams messaged me and asked me to go to his office.
“How was Jess this morning? I noticed through the GPS that your car was outside her house all night”
“I was not working yesterday” I told him
“No, but I don’t want you mixing work with pleasure and then causing issues when things go bad”
“Things won’t go bad” I told him “I really like her sir”
“I will allow it for now, but make sure that you two being together does not get in the way of her training or your work”
“I won’t” I told him. But I had a feeling he was not happy about us been together and that worried me. He had the power to send me away and I hated that I would have to follow the order.
“Good, now go and do the rounds. Once you pick up Jess, I will get you to show her around”
“I think we should get her to try talk to the Alien” I told him “I have a gut feeling she will be able to get it to talk”
“Your gut is usually right” he told me as he gave me a knowing look.
“I know” I sighed.
“When she gets here take her to meet the Alien first and then James and Bridget. Just be prepared for what Bridget will most likely say. She will smell you on Jess and we all know she never got over you”
“I know” I groaned. She tried to seduce me every time I went to check on her and it made my skin crawl. I only had sex with her so we could capture her, otherwise I would not touch her with a ten-foot pole.
“Ok” I nodded as I left the room deciding to check on Bridget first to get her out of the way.
“You smell like sex” she growled as soon as I walked into the room.
“That’s because I spent the night with my girl” I told her as I handed her a blood bag from the fridge.
“You have a girlfriend?” She pouted
“Yes” I told her “Do you need anything?” I asked as I started to check her vitals. We were trying to see if she would be able to survive off blood bags rather than feeding from people. So far, she seemed to be doing fine.
“You” she told me “How about you come in here and we can have some fun?”
“I just told you I have a girlfriend” I sighed “and to be honest even if I was still single the answer would still be the same. You know I only acted interested and slept with you for the mission. I don’t hold any romantic feelings for you. I had to take a bloody Viagra so I could get it up to start with so I could sleep with you for the mission”
“You loved it” she snarled
“No, I didn’t” I yelled “now stop. We have a new recruit starting today and I will be showing her around once she finishes school”
“You have recruited a schoolgirl” she laughed “are you guys getting that desperate now?”
“She has skills that will come in handy” I told her “Now if you don’t need anything else I have other creatures to check on”
She turned her back on me and I groaned as I left the room and made my way to check on James. At least he would be nicer to hang out with. I grabbed a whole leg of lamb out of the kitchen on my way to his room.
“Hungry?” I asked him as I walked in and wiggled it in front of me.
“Brother got laid” He called out as I opened his cage and thew the lamb at him.
“I am starting to hate the sense of smell all you supernatural creatures have” I sighed as I locked his cage and sat down it the chair opposite.
“I guess you checked on that Vamp bitch before me” he chuckled as he started to eat.
“I wish she would get over me” I sighed “I was not even into it when I fucked her. I was repulsed the whole time”
I spent the rest of the day making sure that James and Bridget were fed and doing tests. Finally, it was time to go and get Jess and I could not wait.
