Chapter 109 Sister, How Could You?!
Chapter One Hundred And Seven.
The crowd drew closer and closer to the car as Selene called out those words.
“Sister, don’t do this.” Selena uttered, pretending to be sad, “This is all for your own good. Trust me. You do not want to ruin the reputation of the Graves family and the Beaumont family, right?”
The crowd murmured once again.
“What’s she doing in there?”
“If she’s not going to forgive her and come out, why sit there and act like royalty? Why not just drive off?”
These were the words of the crowd standing around.
Nathan pushed through the crowd and stepped towards Selena Beaumont.
“Forget about her stepping out and forgiving you,” he said loudly, “Aria Beaumont is someone who lacks values and does not even respect family. She will never come out.”
Selena glanced at him from the cutter of her eye, and could not help but smirk.
If Aria decided not to come out, then they’d go in and drag her out.
She wasn’t looking for Aria to accept some stupid apology. All she needed was for Aria to be disgraced.
There was no movement from the car, and Selena decided she was tired of calling out to Aria.
She wanted to see Aria get disgraced as soon as possible.
Of course, Aria could not come out of the car. She was high as hell and was getting properly necked by her husband’s assistant.
Even if Aria did hear her and try to drive away, Selena had made sure to rally the crowd so they stood around the car.
There was no way it would be able to drive off and escape if Aria came to her senses.
That was unless she wanted to hit someone.
“I’ve got her exactly where I want her,” Selena thought once more with a slight smirk, “And now it’s time for the grand finale.”
She leaned forward once more and grabbed ahold of the car door handle.
“Sister, if you don’t come out, I’m going to open this door, right here and now!” She ordered, her voice high and malicious.
She tried the handle and frowned in displeasure, when she saw that it was not budging.
She tried once more, over and over again, her movements getting more and more frantic.
“Open up!” She yelled, kicking the car door.
Any fool would see that she was no longer being apologetic, but instead eager to do something else.
Yet everyone had their heads filled with thoughts of Aria being evil, and they could not see the change in Selena’s behavior.
All except Kurt.
He knew something was definitely going on. This Selena Beaumont must have planned something and that’s why she’s so eager for Aria to show up.
Kurt turned towards Vera, having seen that she was looking very pleased with what was happening all along.
“What’s going on?” he asked in a sharp whisper, “You haven’t done anything to her, right? Why then isn’t she coming out?”
Vera threw him a dirty look, her face twisting with rage, “Of course not,” She hissed back at him, “Why are you so anxious anyway? Did you do anything with her that I shouldn’t know about?!”
“What the…” Kurt was this wits end, “Don’t you realize she’s the Graves family daughter in law?! Do you want to get killed by Lucian?!”
“Well, she shouldn’t have started it!” Vera finally snapped at him, “This is all her fault!”
Kurt’s eyes widened in shock as it finally dawned on him that Vera had indeed done something to Aria.
Vera, seeing that she’d let loose, did not look at all apologetic.
The deed was done anyway, and soon the whole world would see that Aria Beaumont was a proper slut who slept around and disgraced her family at events.
Kurt was about to say something more, when a sharp gasp from Selena drew his attention.
She had finally opened the car door, and was now staring at the inside of the car, with shock written all over her face.
“Sister, what are you doing?!” She immediate exclaimed, “Why are you with another man?! Don’t you know that you’re married already?!”
At those words, everyone rushed to get a closer look at the inside of the car, including the camera crew.
They grabbed their cameras excitedly, ready to catch a bigger scoop that will shake the internet than night.
When they came up to the car, everyone gasped in outrage at the sight before them.
Aria was in the car, her face buried in a kiss with a man. The man had his back to the road but from his burgundy jacket, everyone immediately realized who it was.
“Why, it’s her husband’s assistant!”
“How scandalous! Someone drag that woman out and give her a serious beating! How dare she disgrace her family this way?!”
“I can’t believe they would do this in public! Why not wait until you get a room or something?!”
“Aria Beaumont must think she can do anything and then get away with it! Hah!”
Nathan was flabbergasted.
The next second he let out a bark of laughter.
“What a disgrace!” He uttered, “Sister in law, how on earth did you get so drunk and end up in such a position? With no other than your husband’s assistant?!”
“Sister, I know you like drinking and you like jumping from one man to the other,” Selena uttered in a coy voice, “But that’s just razz country behavior. We don’t do that in the city here!”
“And besides, you’re already married.” Vera put in with a haughty sniff, “I can’t believe a woman like this actually sat with us in the same hall, all evening. She’s a disgrace.”
Kurt looked at her as she said those words, his expression strange as if to say, “Don’t you think you’re a bigger whore than her? Sleeping with your late best friend’s ex-boyfriend??”
But of course he could not say or do anything, except swallow hard and go ahead with the flow of the drama.
Seeing that the man in the car was still hiding his face, Selena decided to take matters into her own hands.
She reached into the car and grabbed a hold of him, “Mr Zach, we know it’s you. You’re such a disgrace as well, sleeping with your boss’s wife!”
With those words, she turned the man to herself, and suddenly, she froze in absolute shock.
