Chapter 105 A Silly Tool To Use!
Chapter One Hundred And Four
Meanwhile, Vera hurried out of the grand hall to the ladies room, her dress sticking to her while her expression was pinched with hatred.
She hurried into the ladies room and locked the door, not caring that others would want to use the room.
“Arghhhh!” She screamed in rage, not even bothering to check any of the stalls to see if they were empty.
Fortunately for her, they were empty and she managed to get away with looking like a maniac.
Not that she cared anyway.
If anyone had stepped out of any of the stalls to confront her, she would have rammed their head against the mirror over the sink.
She started pacing about the ladies, breathing hard and trembling from rage.
She was not just angry about what Aria did to her. She could not help but think about how Kurt had yelled at her and sent her out of the hall.
All in front of that bitch, Aria!
She felt like pulling back her hair by the roots, she was so enraged.
“What must I do to pay her back?!” She thought to herself, biting her nails in a frenzy, her eyes wide and darting from one way to another.
She slammed her hand on the porcelain sink before her, “How dare Kurt treat me like that before her?!” She screamed admist tears of anguish as well, “How dare he?!”
She started pacing once more, not caring to change out of her sticky dress. It didn’t matter because she didn’t have a change of cloth, which made the whole thing more maddening to her.
Who comes to an event with a change of cloth? How was she to know that she would encounter a bitch like Aria at the hall that night?
Kurt knew about this, yet he had sent her out of the hall, knowing that she would not be able to come back to the hall.
“He chose her over me!” She thought once more, as she bit her nails harder, “He chose her over me! What! Does he like her?!”
God, she was about to lose her mind over this bitch, Aria Beaumont. Never had a bitch made her so stressed since Elara Vaughn.
From what she knew, the two women never met while Elara was alive so how on earth were they so similar? Why on earth are they both after her life and peace of mind?!
“I can’t let her get away with this,” she muttered, “I can’t let her get away with this! Oh, what must I do?!”
Just then, there was a tentative knock on the door of the restroom, and Vera ignored it.
The person outside can do their business on themselves for all she cared.
She was not opening the door.
She remained in front of the mirror above the sink, glaring at her expression. She looked horrendous with red rimmed eyes, and a mouth that was drawn into a tight line.
She would make Aria pay.
Just then the tentative knock came again and Vera closed her eyes, wincing at the disturbance.
God, can’t she just have like five minutes to herself?!
Anger coursed through her as she turned to the door, “Just get the fuck away!”
There was silence on the other end for a few seconds, then there came a soft voice, “Uhh…Miss Hale, it’s me, Selena Beaumont,”
“Who the fuck is Selena Beaumont?…” Vera fired back just as the name clicked.
Beaumont.
That was the same last name as Aria.
Selena Beaumont was Aria Beaumont’s step sister.
“What are you doing here?” She asked, her voice calmer now.
“Uhh…I just wanted to see how you’re doing,” Selena replied eagerly, “Please do not mind what that bitch, Aria did or said. She’s just jealous of you!”
Oh really?
Selena Beaumont thought of her sister that way as well?
This was getting more and more interesting.
Vera narrowed her eyes curiously at the door, as she recalled that Selena had also stood up for her against Aria in the grand hall earlier.
She smirked.
Aria was definitely a common enemy for both of them.
She walked towards the door, her demeanor and expression switching almost immediately as she unlocked it, and opened it slowly.
Selena stood in front of the door, staring at her with wide and pitiful eyes.
Vera realized she had to put on more of the victim act to get what she wants from this silly bitch as well.
She sniffed, with her eyes lowered as she uttered softly, “Thank you for coming.”
“That’s okay,” Selena quickly replied, “I felt I had to. I needed to let you know that Aria has got nothing on you.”
“Really?”
“Yes, Miss Hale. Forget about that stupid video recording,” Selena went in heatedly, “I’m sure she provoked you to act that way and now , she turned around to play the victim while you became the villain.”
Vera hid a smile.
Selena was even more silly than she’d thought, and damn it, she did hate Aria a lot!
She sniffed pitifully once more as she reached out to hold Selena’s hand, “You’re too kind,” she muttered softly, “You’re a hundred times better than your sister.”
Selena glowed under that praise and she covered Vera’s hand with hers as well.
“Do not worry, Miss Hale.” She said eagerly, “I will always be on your side”
Vera smiled beautifully, looking up at Selena with eyes bright with tears, “Do you really mean that?” She uttered, like a little kid.
Selena nodded eagerly, “Yes, I am!”
Vera lowered her eyes in a coy manner, “Well then, in that case, will you be my friend, Selena Beaumont?”
Selena’s mouth dropped open in absolute delight at those words.
Vera Hale was actually asking to be friends with her!
That was just splendid!
She immediately nodded eagerly like an overly excited child, “Yes Miss Hale, I will be your friend!”
Vera smiled once more, pulling Selena in for a hug and the latter melted in her arms like cotton candy.
Vera on the other hand, smiled devilishly.
“You silly thing!” She thought maliciously, “You will be the very tool I will use to get back at Aria Beaumont!”
