Chapter 43 You should leave

She was catching up quite well. I believe she would be able to knock anyone who dared cross paths with her. I watched as she fought with the empty air, using the tricks I just showed her. This would be enough.
"So, how has school been going for the past days." She stopped and turned towards me. She looked up towards the sky and pushed away the hair from her face. The sun glittered on her face. I stared for a whole. She was beautiful. More beautiful than the other girls I had come across. More beautiful that the smoker Calix.
And she was my mate. The mate I was yet to claim, before that I had to make her have an understanding about werewolves. She needed to know that they were not harmful as this world had portrayed them to be. They only became dangerous if they were being constantly poke just like what the human world had been doing.
As that, she needed to know me. If I wanted anything to do with her, she needed to understand exactly who I was, so that we wouldn't have any problem if I decided to pursue this.
"School..." She hesitated for a while. "Not bad at all."
Well, she just had to lie to me. I knew was expelled from school. Because I tried to help her or because she tried to defend herself after Calix slapped her. She was not going to say that was she?
"Okay." I stood from where I was sitting. I had more thing to teach her and could take a break from here.
A mind link reached me before I could turned around. Xanthe.
" Where are you? I am at your house. If you are at school, i cam come find you."
My entire body came to a standstill.
"What are you doing here, Xanthe?: was I even supposed to be asking her that? She should let be here of a places.
I had told her how many time not to come to Teran without talking to me first, without getting my permission. Now, she was at my house.
What if someone found her. She was not exactly good at hiding things. She could spilled out everything if she was asked to.
"I apologize, but I will be taking my leave now. Something urgent came up. I'll give you more lessons next class."
She looked at me a bit confused but nodded anyways. I grab my stuff and immediately left the training ground.
I stood at the roadside to flag. Some itching feeling kept nagging me. It was like someone had been following me.
I didn't stand around to find out as I was in a hurry to reach home before Xanthe something might ruined my plans.
I should have been with my own car but my father had forbade me from coming to this side with the car.
A taxi stopped in front of me. I leaned in and gave him my location.
Just about getting in, when i had that feeling of someone following me again.
It felt like someone was following right behind me.
Did I get a spy? But that couldn't be. I made sure to cover every track I took.
Once the taxi dropped in from of the small apartment i rented for myself for the time being, i raised up the stairs.
Xanthe was in there. Hope no one had gone up to her.
I closed the wide opened doors when I got inside.
When i didn't see her in the living room, i walked to the kitchen, a bit panic. I met her in the kitchen in one of my black t-shirts. She was dancing to whatever she was mumbling. She swung around the kitchen like she belonged there.
This wasn't a dancing hall that she could leave a Aetheria to this place.
"How many times have I told you not to show up here without my permission?"
"What!" She jumped in fright. Relief watched over her when saw me.
" Do I need permission to come here to see you? I left all the way from Aetheri. Please cut me some slang. You should be happy."
"Cut me some slang and welcome me properly."
She ignored me and went back to doing what she was doing: chpping tomatoes. She wanted to cook? I had no idea.
"You need to leave immediately. I might have someone following me. I do not want people to put pieces together and start coming here for some kind of investigation. "
"You know how bad it will if it happens like that. "
Yet, she was not going to listen.
"This actually means what was between us has ended. Has it? The moment you told my father you could not marry me."
A smirk formed on her face.
" Is absolutely fine if you don't want to marry me. But we cannot end things be between us like that. We have been together for long. The things we have done together. And those that we have been through. "
"Not even forgetting how much i have helped you with that thing on your back. "
I had to rub my temple in distress because I was not just ready for her right now. Like why exactly what she doing this?
" So, you cannot just send me away. It is me and you against all these people you. I do not care if you later find your mate or whatsoever, it has been us and it will always be us. I do not have to re-enterate on this ever again "
"I don't care what you are all about right now. I want you to leave immediately. This place is not safe for you or for me. You are only going to come back here if I give you permission and if I don't give you, don't ever try to come back. if you do you will have yourself to be blame ."
She finally stop what she was doing and give me all of her attention.
" I don't care what you are saying but know that I'm not going to leave you that easily" She said with finality.
I had no idea how qe ended up here, bit we were definitely going to leave each other. I didn't want this anymore.
