Chapter 92 Untitled Chapter
My heart leapt, and for a second, my limbs felt numb. My blood started raging as I saw Hans, engaged in a laugh with Matilda.
When was the last time I saw him laughing this way? I expected Hans to be excited when I returned and to be all over me, but the reverse was the case.
He left the room this morning without informing me or waking me up, and he hasn't even laughed with me since yesterday. And now he is laughing with a girl he is just getting to know?
I am so jealous!
“Amelia, what is wrong with that girl? Why don't we just take her out of this pack and throw her in that deep, dark hole at the Valtorium pack’s border? Amy snarled, eyes fixed on Matilda.
“No, what is wrong with you? I think I should be asking you that. You weren't this evil before, but now, you keep suggesting evil things.” I chuckled, sighed, and shook my head.
“Amy, stop telling me to do these kinds of things, please. Do not poison my mind. Do not forget that I am the Alpha of this pack and I am expected to rule with kindness, not evilness.”
She scoffed, lay on her paws, and closed her eyes. “Do whatever you want, girl. My part here is done since you think I am going to poison your mind!”
Whatever!
I rolled my eyes, eyes fixed on Hans and Matilda, who were still talking and smiling like a new couple.
I stepped down the corridor, tucking my hair behind my ear as I walked towards them. However, before I could get closer to the parking lot, they got in the car, and Hans drove them out of the company.
I froze, my heart beating fast. Hans just drives her out when I am looking. What in the name of the moon Goddess is this dude trying to do? Is he out of his mind?
“Do you want to do the thing I told you?”
“Get back!” I snapped at Amy, pouring all my fury and frustration on her. How dare Hans!
“Alpha Amelia?” General Lykon called, hurrying towards me. When he saw how I was breathing out fire, and how my fingers were clenched into a fist, he stepped back, gulping down as if he were the one who provoked me.
“Where did Hans tell you he was going?” I asked, my tone fierce and sharp like a blade.
“The…the Packhouse.”
Oh, really? The Packhouse? So they are going back there to cheat on me? Hans is in trouble.
“Get my car ready!” I commanded, veering towards the General.
But do I even need to use the car when it is important? They have just left, and if I use my power, I will be at the Packhouse before them. And whatever it is that they are going to do, I will find out.
As soon as the general hurried towards the car, I snapped my fingers and disappeared.
Just as I knew, Hans and Matilda haven't arrived at the Packhouse. And if they are coming here to cheat on me, then he will take her to our room, or her room.
“Amy, you will steady your ears and tell me whatever is happening in Matilda’s room if they don't come into our room,” I ordered, hurrying up the stairs.
When I bumped into one of the maids, I warned her not to tell Hans I was home. “Yes, Alpha Amelia, I won't make that mistake,” she bowed her head and hurried away.
Immediately entering the master’s bedroom, I hurried inside the closet, closed the door, and left it open midway. That way, I could see them clearly.
As I waited for them inside the walk-in closet, arms folded, I couldn't stop imagining how Hans would lie on top of that girl on my bed, pounding her, and doing whatever thing he would do for me to her.
I just hope they don't make that mistake because if they do, anything will happen. Something that the three of us will regret.
“Just do to them what I suggested, girl. It isn't like you are scared of them. Or, are you?”
May the goddess forbid it. Scared of them? Pfft.
A few minutes passed by, yet they didn't show up in the room, and it made me wonder if the general told me the truth.
What if they were going somewhere else to do whatever shit they want to do? Then I will just waste my time standing in this hot place.
“I give up!” I hissed loudly, opening the door widely.
“Not so fast!” Amy leapt on her paws as fast as the wind, “They are here!” she growled, her fierce eyes fixed on the wall.
“That’s good then,” I stepped back inside the closet, and as I was about to shut the door, she stopped me.
“They aren't coming here; they are going inside Matilda’s room.”
Matilda’s room? My eyes snapped wide, and the beating of my heart increased. Now, sweat gathered on my face, and as my hands trembled, I clenched them into a fist.
So it is valid that they are going to cheat on me. I can believe this! I love Hans so much, and I have been looking forward to the day that he would mark me as his mate. How could he do this to me?
I think I have made a terrible mistake bringing Matilda into this pack. Maybe I should have left her there, or left her at the Harmony Pack to work for them.
Or better still, make her a servant here instead of my beta. That way, she and Hans wouldn't have crossed paths, and she wouldn't have seduced him.
Only I am fit enough to seduce Hans, not some twilly twart whose rank I don't even know.
“Are you going to stand here and bleed? Get your legs moving, Alpha!” Amy snapped, pulling me towards the door.
She was right, I shouldn't be wasting time bleeding in my heart; instead, I should go into that room and barge in.
As I hurried towards the room given to Matilda, which was on the same hallway as ours, her giggles echoed in the hallway.
Even her giggling now sounds like poison ivy in my ears, and it makes infuriated butterflies fly in my stomach.
“Now they are about to kiss… and they kissed!” Amy gasped,
Kissed?
Furiously, I kicked the door, knocking it down completely.
