Chapter 84 Untitled Chapter
This is undoubtedly not looking great. I have just finished wiping out the Dark Shadows sect and came back to relax my mind, deal with the issues in my pack, and also focus on growing it to my satisfaction. But I came back to this?
Why would Hans allow such a thing to happen? Now I am going to have a setback in everything that I have planned all along.
Anyway, how did Axel even gather the pack members and run out of this park? The prison they were locked in, I made sure it was well secured with my power so they wouldn't run away. But they found their way out of the pack.
Certainly, this isn't something that should be kept away from me, but Hans decided to keep quiet about it. Why would he do something as terrible as this? Running away from this pack isn't something good, and to say that he ran away to the Arkonix pack is something that we should be worried about.
“General Lykon?” I gestured to him to come over furiously. This is something I hate when it comes to my status as a leader of this pack. I like it more when things are reported to me as soon as that thing happens or in the process when that thing is happening.
“I am so disappointed in you that you didn't care to give me a call when something like this happened. If Hans couldn't call me because he was scared that I might leave what I was doing there and come back to the Lunskye pack, you, the general, should have hinted to me about what was going on in my pack. But you didn't. You guys messed up big time, and you should know that I am so enraged right now.”
His eyes were fixed on the floor as he shook his head disappointedly. Even he knew that he had messed up big time, and he should be apologizing to me.
“Alpha Amelia, I am so sorry that this happened, but Alpha Hans and I tried all we could to keep an eye on Axel and the members from the Valtorium Pack. Everything happened unexpectedly. Alpha Amelia, Alpha Hans, and I were in the office, looking at the news that you wiped out the dark shadow sect, when one of the warriors came running into the office. He told us that black smoke arose and took over the prison where Axel and the members were locked in. He said, Before they could know what was happening, the smoke concealed Axel and the members from the Valtorium pack, and then it withered away. The prison was empty.”
Is that even an excuse? As an Alpha, I know that Hans must be in the office taking care of the businesses that concern the park, but General Lykon was not supposed to be in that office. He should be at the headquarters, guarding Axel and those I left in his care. All this happened because of him, and I won't regret smearing him with guilt over this. This is definitely not right.
“So tell me now, what do you think we should do about this? You said Hans has gone to Arkonix to do what? Talk to Hams to release Axel and the Valtorium pack members? You must be kidding me, General Lykon. Hams is an idiot.”
How on earth did Hams even find his way back to Arkonix Pack? I am sure he died together with the rest of the Dark Shadows members. I saw his corpse lying on the stage with the other alphas present there, which means the members of the Dark Shadows sect are also alive. No, this can't be happening.
Since Hams is still alive, the rest of the dark shadow sect members are back alive, including Casper, who is their leader. And if this turns out to be true, then we are doomed, especially me, who barged into that sect and provoked them. What on earth is the moon goddess thinking?
“Alpha Amelia?” Matilda called in a trembling voice, “Should we be worried about this? Alpha Hams was part of those guests who visited Casper in the dark shadow sect, and together with everyone there, he died. So why is he back alive? What is the general talking about? Should we be worried?”
Clearly. It is something to be worried about. However, Matilda has just arrived in this pack after so many years of being taken to the dark shadow sect, and I expected that she would meet a perfect place with no chaos. And if any chaos was going to come, it would be after she had settled down as my beta.
“Do not worry about that, Matilda. Everything is going to be fine. After all, this isn't the first time that Axel and the Valtorium Pack members will be running away from this pack. This is a normal thing, and I assure you, I will go to the Arkonix pack and get them back into this pack as the slaves they are supposed to be. Hams cannot stop me from taking them away. And if the need arises and Hams crosses my path, I will make sure that I kill him for good.”
She bobbed her head, sighing worriedly. “Be safe out there, Alpha Amelia.”
“Prepare cars for me, General Lykon. I will be departing from the Lunskye Pack to the Arkonix Pack right now.” I ordered, walking out of the Headquarters.
“But Alpha Amelia? You have just returned, and you need to rest. Allow Alpha Hans to take care of everything. We all know that he is capable of doing this, and he will surely bring back Axel and those Alpha Hams that took out of this pack. Alpha Hams is Alpha Hans’ twin brother. He knows better how to get anything from his twin brother. So I suggest you go back to the pack house and await his return. If things don't go as planned, then you can step in and do it your own way.”
