Chapter 44 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 44 Untitled Chapter
We wouldn't just let him leave without telling us what we wanted to know. I was so worried, and so was Hans.

However, I remembered what I had to do to him, and so, I shut my eyes, snapped my fingers, and when I tossed the mist at his back, Hams paused.

He didn't turn around or move a step, and that made me so worried. I thought I had done a bad job until he turned around, smiling broadly.

“Come over here and sit, Hams, we aren't done talking,” I commanded, and wow! It worked!

Hams returned to the Sofa, sat down, and sighed.

“Go on, Amelia, I am listening.”

“Rowan must leave our Pack,” Hans said, but he scoffed at him.

“Why should I let him leave the Pack? I thought I had already told you guys that Rowan will stay in that Pack for as long as he wants it? So why bring this up now?” he snapped at Hans.

“Because Rowan is a murderer and a Rogue! Come back to your senses, Hams! Rowan killed our parents!”

Everything went silent when Hans yelled, his voice echoing in the living room.

Hams was shocked, and I could see the movement of his chest from his shirt. I wasn't close to him, but the tension built within him was making his heart pound.

“Yes, he did that. Rowan staged the accidents. Not only them, but also Amelia’s parents."

Hams gasped, slouched on the sofa, and exhaled deeply.

When he looked at me, I nodded my head, showing him I agreed with what Hans said.

“Hans is correct, Rowan did all that. That is why I invited you over here so we could tell you the truth. Now tell me, Hams,”

I strolled over to the sofa and placed my hand on his shoulder.

“Do you still want to keep an enemy in your Pack? Rowan deserves to die just like your parents; we should kill him too to avenge our parents’ deaths.”

He shook his head in disappointment, looked at me, and sighed again.

“Yes, Amelia, we should kill him.”

Wonderful! Just what I want!

“How do you want me to kill him?” he asked, getting up from the sofa.

“I want you to bring him out of your Pack so I can kill him. Remember, bring him alive, and I will meet you on the outskirts of your Pack.”

“Deal!”

He smiled at me, but when he looked at Hans, his expression shaded.

“I should be on my way now, Amelia, dear. Let's meet at the outskirts tomorrow, Rowan will be waiting for you.”

With that settled, he left.

“Hans, we did it! Let's get ready to leave the Pack. I can't wait to have that rogue's head rolling on the floor!” I shrieked, dancing around.

“Do not be over the moon yet, girl. I don't trust him. Hams must be up to something.”

But I do trust him. He will do what he promised because I was controlling his mind.

“Stop having negative thoughts, okay? Rowan will come into our hands tomorrow.”

The next day, we were up as early as 5, getting ready like we were preparing to go to the battlefield.

“Shouldn't we wait for Hams’ call?” Hans asked, buttoning his shirt.

“Of course not. If we wait for his call, then it will take like forever before we get there. We should be on the road now so we can arrive there at the same time.”

He bobbed his head, locked the last button, and picked up his phone from the bed.

“Then let's go.”

We left the Packhouse at 6 am, and by 7 am, Hams called.

“Come quickly, Amelia, I have been waiting here for more than two hours now. Plus, Rowan is already suspecting I am up to something.” Hans whispered over the phone.

“You heard that? Speed up, Hans.”

I disconnected the call and steadied myself as Hans pressed the speed. The car was moving so fast that the journey that was supposed to take like 2 hours took just thirty minutes.

When we arrived at the outskirts of the Arkonix Pack, we saw a car parked a distance ahead of us.

“That is Hams’ car,” Hans said, parking our car across the street.

And I didn't argue with him because that was the only car present there. No moving vehicle on the road, either.

“Call him again,” he suggested, and I did. But instead of answering my call, he drove towards us.

The moment he parked in front of us and they stepped out of the car, Rowan’s eyes broadened in shock.

“Here we are, Amelia, do whatever you want to do with him.”

Hams pushed him towards me, and he fell on the ground.

“Is this how you will repay me, Hams? After all the things I have done for you?” He growled, trying to get up, but Hams pushed him back again.

“You did nothing for me, dude; it was I who did it for you. I saved you, brought you to my Pack, and nurtured you to health without knowing you were behind my parents’ deaths. And now that I have found it out, you are going to die!”

He squatted, took Rowan’s neck in his hands, and pressed it so hard, gripping his teeth.

Seeing that Rowan would die in his hands, I intercepted. Rowan has to die in my hands, not Hams.

“Leave him to me, Hams!” I commanded, rolling up my sleeve as I walked towards them. My ponytail hair bounced on my back, and my heeled boots clicked against the asphalt, making a thud sound.

I squatted in front of Rowan, lifted his chin, and scoffed on his face. To prevent him from doing anything stupid or trying to escape, I blinked, and my eyes lit up in blue lights. It froze Rowan, and that was how I chopped off his head without using any equipment, just magic.

When his head rolled down the road, my eyes flickered in delight, and my heartbeat steadied.

I couldn't be happier than that moment, seeing Rowan’s blood all over the place, his head in one place, and his body in another spot.

Hams clapped, laughing as I walked towards the car, wiping the stain of blood that splashed on my face.

This is just the beginning.
