Chapter 13 I almost Mark Her
Our tongues fought as if in a war, each trying to take control of the other.
Amelia slowly slid her hand under my shirt, rolled her fingers to my chest, and twisted my nipple passionately.
I shut my eyes in pleasure, released her lips, and moaned softly. The moment the sensation weakened, my body a little,
She used all her might to push me away from her, then got up and quickly wrapped the towel around her body.
“Were you nuts!” she shouted in fury, her eyes as red as a burning flame.
“How dare you try this nonsense with me? Didn't I warn you to stay away from me?”
Oh my goodness! This is Kael’s fault. But how is she going to believe me now? I've tried my best to control it.
“I swear it wasn't me, it was Kael, please understand.”
I pleaded, clasping my palms, but she scoffed angrily, gnawing on her lip.
“Your wolf? And you think I will buy that? You did all that, Hans, and you know what?”
“Please don't say it, I will be careful from now on. Do not send me away,”
I begged, but she didn't listen to me.
“You and I are done, and I mean the contract. Leave and never return!”
She yelled, then stormed inside the closet and slammed the door.
My heart fluttered the moment she mentioned it. Now I have gotten what I have been running away from, thanks to Kael.
I swear, Kael, I will punish you until you can't stand on your feet anymore! How dare you cut the string I have been trying to tie for years?
“I'm sorry, Hans, do not punish me. I did that for your sake; she would have fallen for you if we had our chances.”
Crap! Seriously, Kael will regret this.
AMELIA BROOK
Gosh! What was that? I can't believe I allowed that to happen. This was all my fault; if I had used the wet towel that way, Hans wouldn't have managed to come into that bathroom.
How dare he? All he should have done was hand over the towel to me and leave, but no, he had other plans.
“You shouldn't have canceled the contract,” Amy whimpered faintly.
Since I yelled at Hans and told him to leave, she has been so hurt and has lain down like she was sick.
But I don't care, Hans must leave. I can't allow him to take control of me just because we are pretending to be a couple.
I've had enough of him constantly trying to touch or sniff me at night. Once, I even caught him sniffing my panties in the closet, and I saw my bra in his bag.
What on earth does that mean?
“Why don't you just have a separate room with him instead of sending him off?” Amy suggested, but even I know that she doesn't mean it.
We’ve both gotten used to him sleeping in the same room, and we feel safe that Hans is watching us.
But I can't take the animal act he and his wolf are trying to do.
“Amelia? If you don't call him back, I will hibernate.”
Whoa! Is that a threat? Amy is stupid. Please do whatever you want, wolf, I don't care!
I dressed up, picked up my phone, and left the room.
I thought he would be outside the room waiting for me to come out, but he wasn't. And I didn't find him either while I walked down the stairs.
He wasn't in the dining area, and he wasn't anywhere in the Packhouse.
Is he really gone? I pondered as I got in the car. I doubt it. Hans can not leave me; he and his wolf are obsessed with me.
Amy? I called, but she ignored me. Has she already gone into hibernation? Oh, funny. As if she can ever do that.
As the car drove to the company, I kept staring out the window on each side, hoping to see Hans on the streets. Not like I was worried he would leave, but I wanted to be sure he was still around.
“Alpha Hans isn't here.”
Axel reported that when I asked him in the office,
That's weird, and I don't have his contact.
Anyway, I must ignore his thoughts and focus on the pile of files in front of me.
“Alpha Rowan has sent this message, Alpha Amelia. And…” he wiped off the sweat on his concerned face.
“Don't you think we should send him an apology text?”
Like seriously? Why are the wolves in my pack so weak? Gosh! I never knew that. I thought they were all brave when my Dad was alive.
“Axel, I will have your head chopped off if you keep acting scared, telling me to apologise to Rowan. That is an insult to me, you know.”
He bowed his head low, apologizing.
I took the tablet from him, clicked on the message, and I cracked up the moment my eyes fell on the content. Seriously? He wants me to apologize, or he will make the Lunskye Pack a history?
Then we shall see about it. The Valtorium Pack will be turned into History if Rowan pushes me to the limit.
I replied to his message, attached a laughing emoji at the end, and returned the tablet to Axel.
“That is my reply, and it should be sent to him today. If you do otherwise, Axel, you will regret it!”
My Beta should have supported me in Rowan’s case, not against it. Ahh, Hans, I won't forgive you for this.
I grabbed my phone from the desk, tapped on the internet, and sighed deeply. These people are still talking about the female Alpha in the Lunskye Pack. Don't they ever get tired?
They are already pissing me off, and the comments are nerve-wracking. They think I ain't capable of being an Alpha as a woman.
And now, they are also talking about the Valtorium’s Pack and Lunskye going into war after what happened.
Wow! I didn't know what happened between Rowan and me, but it would be all over the internet. Rowan must be chewing his fingers now.
