Chapter 112 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 112 Untitled Chapter
For more than two hours now, I have been repeating the same question, yet Hans and Matt have refused to tell me what happened to me.

They have been acting like hypocrites, exchanging glances, and giving me the excuse that they had an important thing to do outside.

However, I have refused to let any of them out of the emergency room until they tell me what was going on.

“Amelia, you need some rest. Hans said, holding my hand.

“I don't feel anything; just tell me already. That thing that hit me on the face at the company, what was it?” I asked again, giving him a stern look.

Why was I even talking to him when he was the one who caused it? I wouldn't have been hit by anything if it weren't for Hans and Matilda. If I didn't go back to that company to teach them a lesson, I wouldn't have ended up in the emergency room.

“Alpha Amelia?” Matt called, “There is something you will need to know, but you wouldn't believe us even if we told you.”

“Then spit it out!” I scowled at him. “You won’t believe us, so let us drop this conversation.”

Hans shrugged his shoulders and sighed. “Amelia dear, the doctor said you can go home now. Why don't you go back so that you can have a lot of rest?”

“Can you just leave me alone?” I glared at him and turned to healer Matt.

“I want to discuss something important with you, Matt. Do you have spare time now?”

“Yes, Alpha Amelia. What is it?”

Hans was still standing there, eyes fixed on us as if he were going to swallow us.

“Hans? You can leave now; I have something important to discuss with healer Matt.”

“But if it is important, then it involves me,” he protested.

“It doesn't involve you. This is my pack’s matter, not yours.

“Come on, Amelia. Has it gotten to this?”

Ohh, is he just finding out?

“It has come to this, Hans. I hate you, and I don't want to see you anywhere closer to me.”

Hans shook his head, sighing deeply.

“Whatever you say, Amelia. I am always available if you need me.”

As soon as Hans stepped out, I signaled to Matt to close the door.

“Now listen to me,” I said to him as soon as he returned. “Tell me whatever you and Hans discussed a few days ago. And this is a command.”

“Amelia, relax,” he sighed.

relax? There is nothing to be calm about. That thing that hit me earlier on—I need to find out its origin so that I can deal with it. Could it be a demon? There is no doubt about it. Before I lost consciousness earlier on, the deep smoke that hit my nostrils smelled like a demon.

I cannot tell you about it right now. I want you to find it out by yourself.”

“Whatever! Tell me if I was hit by a demon earlier, or get the hell out of here!”

“Yes, it was a demon,” he exhaled as if he had just said something he was forbidden to say.

I knew it!

“So tell me. What brought them to the pack this time around? Did they attack any of my pack members? Did they?”

“Absolutely not.”

“Then they came for me this time?”

“Yes, Alpha Amelia. It came for you.”

What da!

“Well, it seems you were trying to attack one of their members.”

“Their member? Who on earth is their member in this pack? As far as I know, there is nobody who is a demon in my pack. I was going to attack Matilda and Alpha Hans earlier on. Are you telling me that one of them is a demon?”

“Yes.”

“Then who?”

“I think it is Matilda.”

Matilda?

“Why did you say that?”

“Because Alpha Hans can never be a demon.”

He never can tell.

They are accusing Matilda of being a demon, yet I haven't perceived any demon scent on her.

“That is nonsense, Matt. You guys are only looking for a way to send Matilda out of this pack. I understand Hans lied to you about Matilda when we came to your house a few days ago and perhaps conspired with you to frame Matilda so that I would deal with her and kill her, right?”

“Absolutely not! We can never frame an innocent, alpha Amelia.”

Then they should leave Matilda alone.

Seriously, I don't even know why I am defending her right now. She betrayed me with the man I love.

“You know what? Go.”

I waved him off and closed my eyes.

“It is time to go now,” he said before opening the door.

“I am not ready to go home,” I said to him, turning to the left.

Going back to the packhouse will only worsen my situation. Also, I don't want to set my eyes on Matilda and Hans. They will only push me to finish what I had started earlier on.

“Then I shall go ahead, Alpha Amelia. If you need me in the future, I am always ready to answer your call.” He closed the door gently without making any sound.

“Amelia?” Amy called, “You shouldn't stay in the hospital because you don't want to finish what you have started. Get up now and go back to the packhouse. And Matilda must pay for what they did to you.”

“Can you stop poisoning my mind already, Amy? I have no time for all this. I only need a piece of mind, and that is what I am going for. And Matilda can go ahead and cheat on me; I don't give a damn.”

“Are you serious right now?” Amy gasped shockingly.

“Yes, and nothing will change my mind.”

To avoid any more distractions from her, I blocked the connection with her and exhaled deeply.

If that is what Hans and Matilda want, then they can go ahead and do it. But not in my pack; I will send them away when I go back to the packhouse.
