Chapter 102 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 102 Untitled Chapter
See? She is indeed a demon, because only they possess the power to show what isn't true. I don't have that girl’s contact; I have never communicated with her via the phone or telepathically.

“Believe it or not, Matilda is a demon. And I must warn her never to lie against me this way again. Because if she does it one more time, I will deal with her!”

I was so upset that she would do that shit with me. How dare she? A phone call? Also, didn't she say she didn't ask after me with Amelia? Jeez! This girl is evil, and I must bring an end to her before things slip out of hand.

“Where are you headed?” Amelia asked as I was about to leave the garden.

“Back to the room for fresh air since the one here has been polluted with lies.”

“Are you kidding me?” she gasped, tilting her head. However, I ignored her and walked past her. I was too upset to even pay attention to her or all the things she was saying after me.

“How do you think we should inform Amelia about this?” Kael finally got his voice as I thumped on the stairs. “That wouldn't be a problem.”

I have a plan running in my head, and if I can bring it to action, Amelia will believe that Matilda is a bad person as soon as possible, and I wouldn't even be the one to tell her that.

As I dressed up, the idea kept swirling in my mind like a whirlwind. And by the time I was done and left the room to go get Amelia so we would leave the packhouse, her giggles pierced my ears like a needle.

And no, she wasn't alone; she was with someone, laughing and giggling like a commoner. Her voice could be heard outside Matilda’s room, which was abominable for an Alha.

If she can stop me from entering Matilda’s room, then she, too, must be stopped from going inside that room.

I planted myself in front of the door, lifted my hand with a sigh, and tapped on the door with my knuckles.

“Who is there?”

“It is me. Open the door.”

Surprisingly, it was Amelia who answered, but it was Matilda who came running to open the door like a little girl welcoming her daddy back home. The moment my eyes fell on her, I felt a surge of anger rushing inside my heart. My blood boiled under my skin, and my fingers clenched into a fist.

I felt like punching her and kicking her and then warning her to stay away from me. But no matter how much I warn her, I know that Matilda will not stay away from me. She is on a mission, and they don't abandon their targets until they get what they want.

“Get out of my way!” I snapped with a smirk and looked over her shoulder. Amelia was sitting on the bed with paper pictures all over the bed. She wasn't even looking at the door to see who was standing there; she was so engrossed in whatever photos Matilda must have given her.

“Amelia? Come out here; we need to talk.”

Amelia didn't answer me; she didn't even turn around. That was a big blow to my face because Matilda was there, and the maniac was smirking in mischief.

“Amelia??” I called again, yet no reply.

I was about to enter the room to let her know what she was doing wasn't right when Matilda blocked my way. She stood in the middle of the doorway, her hands holding the wall on each side.

“Amelia cannot hear you, Hans,” she chuckled.

Did she just call me Hans? Without my Alpha title? Wow! Matilda has indeed grown wings.

“Get out of my way before I get you out myself,” I scowled, yet she didn't step away from the way. Instead, she cracked up, holding her stomach.

It was so confusing because Amelia was sitting a few feet away from the door, but she didn't hear what was going on at the door. How was that even possible?

“I told you she cannot hear you. Shouldn't you be asking me why?” She giggled, rolled her hair in her fingers, and ran her other fingers on her bare chest.

Right there, that slut slowly pulled down the strap of her dress, exposing her cleavage. “Do you like what you see, Hans? Come to me, and I will give you what Amelia can never give you,” she winked, nibbling on her lower lip.

“Oh, yes, you are fit enough to give what Amelia cannot. And do you know what that is?” I grabbed her wrist as she was trying to touch me. “Demons!” I snarled with a clenched jaw. “Amelia cannot give me demons because she isn't one, but you can. Correct?”

I pulled her hand away, hitting it on the wall. But no, she didn't feel any pain nor show any sign of pain.

“Can you just stop doing this?” She gasped, twisting her wrist. “I told you I am not a demon.”

“Oh, really? Then how are you doing that?” I pointed at Amelia, whose back was still turned to us. “Didn't you block her ears from hearing all we are saying right now? Who does that if not demons?”

“Oh, please!” She dramatically rolled her eyes and scoffed. “Yes, I did. So what are you going to do about it, kill me?”

“Yes, Matilda, I will do just that. But not now, until I am sure Amelia brought back a demon and not our kind.”

When she wasn't paying attention, I pushed her out of my way, and the moment her butt hit the floor with a thud, Amelia turned around.

Seeing Matilda on the floor and me standing above her, Amelia’s face went pale. She sprang out of the bed, hastening towards us like she was going to lunge at me.

“What is the meaning of this, Hans?” she snapped, helping Matilda get up from the floor. “Why do you keep picking on this girl? She did nothing to you.”

“Can you just keep it down and get out of here? You are an Alpha, and you shouldn't be in this room. Can't you perceive the strong odor in this room?”

“Odour? And who is the rotten wolf?”

“Not a wolf, but a demon. And there she is.”

That didn't go well with Amelia. She got so upset, and before I could say a word, she grabbed Matilda’s hand and stormed out of the room.

“Are you serious right now?” I trailed them. “I was standing there for so long, but you didn't even hear me calling you because Matilda blocked your ears.” She paused, and so did Matilda.

“But, Alpha Hans, I didn't do that. Why do you hate me this much?” Tears streamed down her face.
