Chapter 31 Thirty one
I cannot forget the pain I felt, when I fell into the pit and how I was stabbed around my body.
"I think Jessica did it, yes that was Jessica."
Skylar looked confused as she tried to concentrate her mind on that day, so she can recall who the person was.
"I can remember what she was wearing, are you okay Brenda? you don't look good."
"Don't worry I am fine."I looked down still thinking why Jessica would try to do something so horrible to me.
So Jessica did this.
She is just like her father, father has done a lot of horrible things to my family. I wonder why they will not let me go. Though I am not surprised, this is not the first time.
She has tried to kill me several times, but she has never succeeded in killing me.
This time she'll try to do something else just to get rid of me, especially now that she knows I am alive, she will not want me to take my revenge on her.
We used to be very good friends, we were so inseparable, but now the bridge separating is so wide and strong and it can never be broken again.
Since Jessica has made up her mind that she'll kill me, I don't think this is a time to sleep with my two eyes closed.
If I must survive to take my revenge on her, I have to think and plan something really fast.
But how am I sure she is really the one that tried to kill me? I don't have any evidence to prove her guilt.
And I cannot be sure it's Jessica after listening to Skylar's one-sided story about what happened that day.
But no matter what the truth is, I have to be very careful with Jessica from now on.
If she eventually turns out to be the culprit, I'll make sure she pays with her life, for making me go through so much pain.
To be very sure of what Skylar said to me, I decide to prepare a trap for Jessica.
And suddenly a quick idea popped up in my head. I am so lucky, this will be a very good opportunity, I did not expect the opportunity to come so fast.
It's finally another day, the sky was so bright.
Carson took all of us to the seaside for training.
We have always trained on the ground so we already took it as a routine, it's more like a chore to us now.

When we all changed into our swimsuits and put on our diving glasses, we walked to the beach.
The sand felt warm under my feet, I looked around so leisurely.

"Brenda, do you like the sea? The blue water was so beautiful, and even in the sky, the breeze was blowing so gently and romanticly. Brenda why do you look absent-minded, this is such a beautiful scene to look at. Do you also like it?"
Skylar's voice brought me back to the present.
I turned and looked at Jessica, I stared at her for a while. She was wearing a very beautiful black bikini that made her figures obvious and made her look sexy and attractive.
She noticed I was staring at her because we made eye contact and smiled.
She didn't look emotional at all, her smile was warm and calm, it went down my spine, I started to think about what happened again.
Immediately I looked away, so she would not suspect anything, I silently began to plan the trap I'll set later.
"Everyone, prepare yourselves to go into the water," Carson said to all of us in a loud tone.
He guided us carefully, as we lined up and entered into the sea one after the other.
Skylar didn't hesitate to enter into the water, because she was one of the first set to enter the water, she also urged me to enter before she realized I was still standing on the shore.
"Brenda, please come let's go together." She tried to convince me.
"Skylar, you can go first, I'll join you later."
After a lot of hesitation on the shore, I entered the water slowly.
I intentionally went into the water in a clumsy way, it felt like this was my first time swimming in the sea.
When I noticed all the trainee swimmers had all gone far I decided to go a little faster.
Excluding me, every other werewolf participating in the swim training looked and felt really comfortable in the water as if they were merma
They were all moving faster and the gap between us became wider, they were already getting really far from me already.
It felt like I was alone In the water.
Earlier, Jessica was swimming faster than everyone else. She looked back and sighted me several times. I just pretended not to notice her, as I continued to sway the water with my hands.
Jessica suddenly slowed down, she was gradually falling behind like everyone just like me.
When I noticed she was already very close to me, I realized it was time for me to act according to my plan.
I held my chest with my hand and splashed inside the water, to stir out a lot of water.
"Someone please help me, it hurts..."
While I tried to kick my legs, my body was drowning in the water.
"Please someone help, my injury is acting up, I don't think I can swim anymore! Carson....pl..e.."
I couldn't continue talking, because I mistakenly gulped the water.
I wasn't feeling okay again because the sea waves made my head spin.
I shouted desperately for help, but all the other trainees had already swum too far and could not hear me.
Though I pretended to be injured and drowned in the water as a trap for the culprit behind my injury, I needed to lure the culprit closer to me.
Why is Jessica not coming to me, she has been watching me secretly, if she wanted to kill me, would this not be a better chance for her to do that?
Though I felt it was a little dangerous to put my life at risk just to expose the culprit, this was really the only way to bring my enemy closer to me.
