I could feel the cold breeze while I drove at speed, this sobered me and made me hesitate to go in.
I stopped the car immediately at the gate of the hospital and thought for a while if going in would actually be a good solution to my crazy nightmare.
Am I really ready to accept Brenda? Will this be a good decision? I asked myself several times while looking through the window and seeing passers-by.
I was still sitting in the car thinking before I sighted the lady I was here to meet alongside Michael.
Brenda looked comfortable around him, Michael held her with one hand and helped her carry some things with the other. I really don't understand what is going on.
"Brenda!"
I didn't realize how the word came out of my mouth, it was really loud and unexpected, I really don't know what this girl has done to me.
The both of them were about to get into the car before they heard my voice and turned back.
Brenda looked surprised and confused upon seeing me, before letting out a soft smile.
"Mr.Taylor."
Immediately I got out of the car and shut the door really hard before walking toward them.
They both stood surprised and watched me walk towards them, I grabbed Brenda's luggage from Michael immediately after I got there.
"Let's leave here," I said to Brenda while holding her hand.
I gave Michael an eye search and realized he wasn't ready to let Brenda go with me.
"Mr.Taylor, you don't have to worry, I'll handle this."
He talked in a really calm and polite way, how will he even say such a thing when Brenda is not his mate, I could not stand his irritating smile anymore.
Immediately I gave him a cold glance.
"You are needed more urgently at the training ground where you should be by this time.".
I am here now, so I will have to drive Brenda home.
You also have a lot to settle with your dorm head, as to why you always return late at night."
Brenda looked at Michael upon hearing what I said.
"Michael, I think it's better for you to go for your training now, I'll be with Mr.Taylor.
"If you insist, please take good care of yourself and do not forget to take your medicines," Michael spoke a little disappointed
"Yh, I'll see you later."
Michael walked alone into his car, while Brenda and I entered mine.
The both of us were quite like we were in a do not talk situation.
The car was so silent, which felt a little strange. It was quiet to the extent that even the wind blowing became too loud.
"Mr.Taylor, thanks for coming to save me again.
I was just thinking we would be quiet till we got home, Brenda's soft voice rang sweetly in my ear.
"Brenda," I called her by her name.

"It's nothing, I was just driving around when I decided to come and pick you up.
I said, trying not to sound like I was concerned about her.
"Driving around again?"Brenda asks with a smile.
"Anyhow, you still saved me, and I appreciate that."
"Stop lying, you were not passing by, you intentionally went to the hospital to pick her up," Chad grumbled in my mind.
"At least you could have come up with a better lie.'' Chad continued.
"Shut up!" I yelled.
I am trying to hide my feelings from Brenda, so she don't discover anything
Brenda's POV:
I have been at the hospital for a week, finally, I have been discharged and I can see how bright the sun is again.
I smiled upon breathing the fresh air with satisfaction, it's been a really long week.
Immediately after I got to the dormitory, Skyla greeted me with a warm and sweet hug.
"Pretty Brenda, you are welcome back," she said to me with her cheeks resting on mine.
"I have been really bored since you were away. Thank God you're back! Have you completely recovered now?" She asked immediately.
"Not completely." I let out a soft smile while I stared at her disappointed face.
Immediately I remembered the incident, I had a bad feeling about what happened, I have a feeling someone set a trap for me in the jungle.
"I really suspect that someone set me up.
We were many that participated in the jungle exploration that day, how am I the only one that fell into such a deadly trap that nearly took my life.
Doesn't it feel weird? Marge Island belongs to the royal family.
Even hunters are not allowed to enter there
So I wonder how there was a trap there and why was it there.
I need to look into this case very well and know who set such a trap for me.
When I find the person, I'll make sure the person pays for the pain I went through.
"Brenda, do you also suspect something fishy?"
Skylar stared at me with a serious face, which made me also feel the urge to look into it immediately.
"I have something to tell you, it has been bothering me, but when I went to visit you in the hospital you were still in a really bad state, so I could not tell you about it.
Upon hearing her, I moved toward her so I could listen to what she had to say.
Skylar started looking around when she realized there was no one there, she said to me almost in a whisper,
"That day of the accident, I sighted a she-wolf in the jungle. She was acting really strange and sneaky, she looked very vigilant, I found it a bit strange, she was walking around in a strange way, I wasn't able to pay much attention to her, which I kind of regret but every time I don't know why her sneaky attitude kept disturbing me. I don't think that can be a coincidence."
"Do you know who she is?"I asked cautiously.
