Betrayed - Part II

"Take me to Drinealia!" As they stare at her, Nicholas' eyes bulge, and Hilda verbally gasps while Emmerich fumes in rage towards the Prince. In a matter of seconds, she looked to be a completely different person. Her eyes were dead, her face was blank, and she exuded an enigmatic aura. When she walks past Emmerich, he snarls,

„Aš užmušiu tą šūdo gabalą“.

(I will kill that piece of shit!)

Emmerich grabs her wrist as he walks towards the door. As he pulls her arm her legs doesn't move even an inch,

„Palik, aš tik noriu išeiti Tėtis“. Emmerich turns around as she says this, her voice as frigid as ice.

(Leave it, I only wish to leave, Papa.)

„Po to, ką padarė, jis nusipelno būti nukirstas ir sudegintas“! Emmerich snarls and she yanks her hand from his grasp, not glancing at him.

(After what he did, he deserves to be beheaded and incinerated!)

„Norėčiau palikti šį reikalą tokį, koks jis yra“! She murmured solemnly and it only fueled his rage.

(I wish to leave this matter as it is!)

He snarls and bares his fangs at her. His eyes turned pitch black instantly.

„Aš pasakiau, kad noriu išvykti“! She elevates her head, a gloomy shadow looming over her lifeless eyes.

(I said I wish to leave!)

Emmerich's mouth closed as his eyes returned to normal, and he stared at her, unable to recognize the female in front of him. She walks past him, dragging the bag in her hand. As she walks out of the castle, he only stares at her. He could feel the walls she was constructing around herself, entombing her with each passing moment. While her heart was shielding itself from any further damage. He's not sure if she'll ever be able to put the torn pieces back together again. But he knew she'd finally been pushed over the edge. He could feel her carrying herself deeper into the pit of darkness she'd learned to overcome. He wondered if she could ever trust anyone again, love anyone ever again. He was wary if she could ever trust herself again! Even so, if Faye was Aiden's mate, what was the bond they had shared for the previous year and a half? Who is her moon-blessed if not him?

Her heart clenched dreadfully with each step she took towards the infirmary. He had been walking over this path for the past couple of weeks to see his moon-blessed. Was he ecstatic? Was his heart joyous to finally see her? Was his soul dreading every second he was away from her? As she did while he was away! Did he imagine that female to be her when he touched her in the prior weeks? Did he keep her close because he craved the warmth that female offered? Was she only being used because the other female wasn't with him?

"Your Highness!" She was distracted from her dreadful thoughts when she heard a male voice. She had run into Liam, who was apologizing. Even though it was her who was lost in her mind.

"It's okay, Liam," she said curtly as she continued walking through the infirmary hallway. Liam stared at her confused as she left.

Despite the strong odor of disinfectant, she could detect his pleasant scent. He must have been here today, was her thought. She followed the scent and soon was led to the chamber that female was kept. Standing outside the closed door, she could hear a faint conversation between her and Dr. Riley.

"Is there any kind of pain you are experiencing Faye?" Riley inquired, and Faye's timid voice replied with a small no.

"Faye!" Seraphina murmured to herself as she peered through the glass on the top of the door. To say she was stunning would be an understatement. She is everything she has never been and everything she is self-conscious about. Tan skin, doe eyes hidden beneath long lashes, and long brown hair that looked soft and silky. Her freckles only enhanced her beauty and innocence. Despite the scars she could see, she appeared to be in much better health. Riley finished taking her vitals and walked towards the door after finishing the check-up. Faye said goodbye with a smile and opened the book next to her. Riley walked out as Seraphina stood away from the door. As soon as she saw her, her eyes widened and she bowed her head and greeted her.

"Your Highness!"

"How is she, Riley?" Seraphina inquired curtly as Riley raised her head.

"Who, Your Highness?" She asked confused

"Faye,"

"She's in much better condition now and is recovering quickly," Riley informed and she nodded

"Take care of her!" Seraphina turned to leave, glancing back at Faye through the ager door, who was peering at her with curiosity.

"Of course, Your Highness!" Riley bowed.

Faye looked down as their eyes locked for a brief moment, and Seraphina walked out of the infirmary with long strides.

"Erm Dr. Riley?" Riley raised her head as Faye called her name.

"Yes?"

"Who was she?" She asked

"Oh, she is the Princess!" Riley smiled and walked away as Faye nodded.

As she walked out of the infirmary, a car was waiting in front of the packhouse. As she approached the car, a Drinealia soldier took her bag and she walked towards the anxious Beta Couple and a perplexed Gamma.

"Please, Seraphina! Please do not leave." Hilda snatched her palm and pleaded with her. Hilda's eyes were misty, and tears streamed down her cheeks as Seraphina drew her hand away.

"It was a pleasure to meet all of you." She said curtly with a slight bow of her head and turned around.

"Luna!" Nicholas beckoned and she turned back.

"I'm not your Luna Nicholas. I never was." She was about to turn back towards the car when she caught a glimpse of the Alpha. Staring at her through the small glass window on the third floor. She took her gaze away from him and turned to face Nicholas.

"I am leaving The Royal Pack and Auhesraivia for eternity and I shall never lay my feet on this soil. I shall never claim this Kingdom. This Kingdom now belongs to your Alpha Prince Aiden and Luna Faye. Obey her and look after her." She commanded and they opened their mouth to protest.

"Please don't defy me." With that, she turned around and entered the car, where Emmerich was already seated and waiting for her. The car started moving and without even a single glance she left. She left the place she was starting to call home.
