Chapter 80 VENGEANCE GHOST

Chapter 80 VENGEANCE GHOST
The night was dark and so quiet, it seemed as if the night understand the purpose of tonight.
In Evelyn's chamber, the three of them gathered together. Whispering to themselves in the quiet night. Only the sound of whispers were heard, nothing else.
This was the night! The late they chose wade off every evil spirit. Their heart was at their throat.
Evelyn was hanging only on the last string. She wants all this to stop so that she would have peace. She only kept her trust in Eleanor's processes to wade off the ghost and send it to the afterlife.
Lady Eleanor's eyes darted between Evelyn and Damien, her face made up already. She had already taken it as her sole responsibility. Of she doesn't do it, no one else will. They all nodded severally concluding on what to do.
After they finished their whispered conversation, Evelyn stood up, her movements precise.
"It's time for me to rest," she said, her voice loud. "The ritual will take place in the dawn. We must be prepared." She uttered her voice loud and intentional.
Lady Eleanor nodded, her eyes never leaving Evelyn's face. Without waiting, Evelyn get going into her room, while Damien and Eleanor remained in the chamber but outside the room.
Evelyn smiled, a small, tired smile. "I'll see you both in the morning. May the gods watch over us."
Evelyn's room was decorated in such a way that no evil spirit would be allowed entrance. It was decorated with talisman. Talisman is an object known for its strong energy to send off evil spirit.
They spread the talisman around in the room with the intention that the talisman would do its job keep the ghost away from Evelyn.
That wasn't their only intention, their other intention was to capture the ghost beast immediately it enters the room.
Evelyn felt a sense of peace wash over her as she settled in her bed. She knew that the ghost would come but wouldn't be able to near her. That alone gave her the peace and reassurance she needed.
She slowly drifted off to sleep while waiting for the ghost beast. But unfortunately, the ghost beast didn't appear. She worried if Eleantand Damien would also fell asleep before she drifted off to sleep also, but she could no longer hold it in.
She drifted off into a deep slumber.
When it got to a stage, Evelyn felt the ground under her shake. She had no other choice than to flicker her eyes open in haste. She wasn't sure if it was only her room that was shaken, so she remained buried under her quilt.
She didn't if it was the ghost beast or an earthquake. Her heart became heavy with fear, I can't fear. I have to stand strong and face whatever is going to happen.
I have thousands of people to serve, I can't cower under the quilt.
She muttered to herself but that didn't help in this situation. What she didn't fail to notice even in her thought was the sound of footsteps. She felt it that it was a footstep.
Whenever a step was taken, the ground will shake. Was it the ghost beast?
The sound that came after that confirmed her doubt. She heard Eleanor's voice as well as Damien's voice. They sounded as if they were conversing with someone, but that somebody had its purpose for msking an appearance already.
Outside the room.
Damien and Eleanor stood in front of the ghost beast preventing it from moving closer.
“What do you want?” Eleanor asked, her eyes blazing with fire. She knew this ghost beast wouldn't answer, but she needed time to analyze it and tell what kind it was.
Damien's interested was piqued also, he had no knowledge about these things. But he was gravely involved with them. These were his roots.
Eleanor kept of picking at the ghost beast, but the best just kept shouting and yelling for her to move out of the way.
As the ghost beast keot saying that, Eleanor took her time to check the kind it was. She furrowed her brow and played with her fingers as the thought came to her mind.
The ghost beast seemed to only want to harm Evelyn and no one else. Could the beast be involved with the royal bloodline? Looking around the room, and thinking back to the power the talisman possess, she concluded.
She stepped away from the front and allows the beast to take the lead. The ghost easily unlocked the door and started taking its heavy steps into the room.
As the ghost got nearer, Evelyn glued to the bed. She had stopped hearing sounds from Eleanor. How did she deal with the beast? Did she fail? That must be it, if not, why would the beast be coming for her?
Eleanor watched with so much attention, it might be be known to others, but the movement of the ghost beast had slightly slowed down. Damien noticing that, he turned to look at Eleanor.
They spoke to themselves with their eyes. Getting the signal, Damien pulled the string that had been tied to the poles in the room. At once the rope was realeased. Damien threw it to the neck of the ghost beast which was only focused on Evelyn in the room.
After the rope had been thrown to its neck, Damien pulled the rope tightly to his neck, restricting it from breathing properly.
The ghost beast tried to fight for its freedom, but it was too late for him. Eleanor had already st down the table for the ritual to take place.
The ghost beast was actually a dirty one. Its face was so dirty likewise the cloth on its body. As the beast struggled to free itself, it lifted its gaze, and they found out that the ghost beast was a male one.
That made it more easier, as the beast revealed its face, the smell on his body blotted out.
Eleanor halted, this smell. So strong, strong enough to kill someone. He smelled like stench. She racked her brain until she got it.
Vengeance ghost!
The beast has a grudgton the royal bloodline or probably Evelyn.
On getting the root of the problem, Eleanor began the ritual. She sang the chant with a closed eyes and a made up mind. This was the time to get rid of it. Once this beast has been sent to the afterlife. Every other beast would do the same.
The ghost struggled for freedom, as the ritual was already eating away its soul. It cried for help, but Eleanor didn't help. The room smelled like incense.
This was one of what they hated, but she was using it against him. He would surely find peace after the ritual finish. Then they could burn the body.
“Haaaaaaaah!” With the loud shriek, the ghost heart fell to the floor. Eleanor's eyes lit up and her heart beamed with joy. She succeeded. The ritual wasn't as hard as she assumed. She passed, she could become a shaman then.
