Winter Kingdom

Cassian.

Today I woke up already tired, many problems to be solved, when I think I've solved one, another more complicated one arose.

I got up from bed, having the vision of Rosa sleeping, this did not cause me any feeling of affection or love, but it is early for me to start to feel some feeling, with time I might even like her, but love doubt I do not have the heart for love. 

I go to the little river to bathe but did not take long, I take any clothes in the closet and wear a gray suit, unlike Arthur I did not use the crown on a daily basis. I remember that today is the day of the White Rose Festival, in honor of my mother, who loved that rose more than all the other things in the castle, she didn't give much value to objects of gold, dress, or other things that exuded her social status. She admired the simplest things that existed.

This tribute always takes place every year since the year she herself created the first festival, always in the months of June and July. Every year it's hard to look strong in front of everyone when in fact I only wish my mother could come back, this moment reminds me of the old festivals when she was still alive, all the organization was done under her watchful eye as she wished, it was the day she loved the most, and the day she was happiest. 

Today I am without her and the only woman by my side, I don't feel any feelings for her. Her way does not contribute to a harmonious relationship, I could not be called every hour to resolve irrelevant issues, such as: what should be served at the meals of the day, and about the cleaning of the places and not even about the decoration of the palace, this is not for me, she is my wife queen of kingdoms, have the power to do whatever she wants, except to touch my mother's things.

When I am finishing getting dressed, a memory pops up out of nowhere making me remember that it's been a week since I saw that girl that appears in my mind at every moment and I can't get her out of my head. There's still Rosa, who can't solve the easy problems of a queen and now this happens to me I can't wish for another woman I barely have time for the one I have imagine for another.

Leaving the room toward the dining room to take my breakfast, walk quickly arriving in the room, which is opened by the guards continue the path to the table that had no one what was strange at this hour. I sat down being served by the maid who was in the room waiting for everyone.

I was almost finished with my meal when I heard the door being opened. I looked back to see a soldier entering, walking over to me. 

-Major, I came to communicate that a meeting is being held at the council table, and only you are missing. -he spoke close to my ear. 

-What do you mean a meeting? Who called it? - I asked, now looking at the soldier's face, not understanding what was happening. 

-I don't know sir, I was only assigned to communicate, I will leave. -I said leaving, closing the door. 

I got up from the table in a jump, I am boiling with rage as can make a meeting if I who am the king am not and was not notified, go directly to the meeting room, only a king can request a meeting, no one else. Open the door in a push making it hit the wall with force where the sound fills the entire environment, soon when they realized my presence their expressions contained surprise and fear for I'm there, way looked at all who are inside, walked to my chair that was being occupied by the former king.

-What were you doing in my place? - I asked looking at him. 

-You took your time, we were waiting for you and there are not enough chairs, I would even send to get one for you but the meeting is over, we have all settled. 

-I shouted looking at everything, I wanted to kill everyone for doing something behind my back.

Everyone stood silently looking at me as if I had two heads, I like to cause fear in those who deserve it.

-I shouted, causing everyone to jump out of their chairs in fright and fear. -If you don't, I'll send everyone to the focus," I warned.

The elders began to speak, even though they still stuttered one by one, every now and then I caught Arthur staring at me, it was visible his hatred for me, I didn't mind. 

The meeting was to talk about the fastest possible solutions to solve the problems of the poorest villages. 

-I thought this had already been resolved, I myself went to see the conditions and made a report for you to resolve. Why only now have you decided to discuss it," I asked curiously. 

When I finished speaking, everyone was silent, looking at each other.

I saw Arthur straighten his posture when he opened his mouth to speak. 

-I said that this was not very important, that other problems should be solved first. -he said.

I took a deep breath to control the anger that exploded at hearing this.

-Then tell me what other problems are more important to be solved than the food and safety of the subjects," I asked, boiling with hatred.  

- I have been informed that two dukes are at war, since they both allege that one has stolen the land from the other and vice versa, and they are refusing to produce until this problem is resolved. 

My patience was already running low, but after hearing this, it burst, and I could no longer contain myself.
