28. Extremely Stupid
Danni got out of the car in a hurry, climbing the stairs of the tarot cafe that was still closed and looked deserted. Usually, at this time of day, his wife was already standing by at the cafe to prepare for opening.
But just as she was about to push open the door, Danni bumped into Jeff.
"Danni?" Jeff quickly closed the door. "What are you doing here so early in the morning?"
Danni frowned. She felt something was wrong. "What's wrong with you?"
"Me?" Jeff pointed at himself awkwardly. He then climbed down the stairs to stand on the same level as his partner's husband. "What's wrong with me?"
"You seem surprised to see me."
Jeff laughed. "Is that so?"
"As my wife's ex, you're pretty worrisome. Moreover, if I recall what happened a few years ago."
Jeff chuckled. "You brought that up again?" He nodded. "I did want to have sex with your wife once in a while, but... I haven't done it in years because I respect you."
"Thank goodness." Danni shoved both hands into his jacket pockets. "I respect you too, which is why I trusted Irene to work with you." She then climbed the stairs.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Jeff held Danni's hand.
"What else? To see my wife, of course."
"Go to Bonnie's cafe." Danni pointed down the street.
"Why should I?"
"Irene isn't here yet. I'll tell her to meet you there."
Danni felt strange. She pulled out her cell phone from her pocket. "I came here because it's urgent and important. I haven't even called Irene yet."
Jeff suddenly grabbed her cell phone. "Go to Bonnie's Cafe!" He looked serious, then returned the cell phone to Danni's hand who eventually complied.
Unbeknownst to them, Irene was biting her finger behind the window of the tarot cafe. The woman had come earlier to supervise several things in revamping the corner of the room, including the installation of CCTV cameras that Alex Matthew had previously destroyed with his gun.
Because if Danni knows, a simple matter which could be handled will become more complicated. That's why Irene chose to keep the matter of Alex Matthew's visit a secret yesterday, which messed things up.
When she realized Danni's presence, Irene chose to hide. And luckily, Jeff is always responsive and understands the situation.
"Is my husband gone?" asked Irene, who was leaning on the back of a chair.
"Get up! At this rate, I'll look like your mistress." Jeff pulled up a chair as Irene sat down opposite him.
"Why did he suddenly come without contacting me?"
"It seems like he has something important to say. Go to Bonnie's cafe! I told her to wait there."
Before Irene could respond, her cell phone rang.
"Look, it looks like Danni has an urgent matter," Jeff muttered, looking at the man's contacts on Irene's phone. "Pick up!"
Irene swiped the green icon on her screen. "Hello, dear?" she greeted as if nothing had happened.
"Are you still at home?"
Irene looked at Jeff, who was signaling. "I-I just arrived in front of the cafe. Why?"
"Jeff didn't call you?"
"A-Ah... I haven't checked my phone yet." Irene answered while looking at Jeff, who was eating a mango.
"Meet me at Bonnie's Cafe."
"Now?"
"Yes, now!"

Danni raised her hand to Irene, who had just walked into the cafe. The charming woman noticed her husband's presence and moved quickly over.
"Have you been waiting long?" Irene asked, then pecked her husband's lips before sitting down.
"No. But I've ordered a lemonade detox ice for you. You're on a diet, right?"
"You always understand me, Danni." Irene took a sip of her drink. "This seems urgent. What's wrong?"
"I... I've been thinking about this for a short time. But you should know that I'm thinking about it very seriously."
Irene squinted. Danni's words made her even more nervous. "What is it?"
"I lost my way. But I still have another direction." Danni looked at his wife intently. "And that's you, baby."
Irene's heart sank when she heard that sentence, which to her was sweet. But she tried to look calm because this was not the right time and place to react the way she usually did.
"I'm asking you to cooperate or whatever it is that makes your chances of a good relationship with..." Danni moistened her lower lip for a moment. "With Alex Matthew."
Instantly, Irene's calm eyes widened. She was still unable to respond, just frozen in silence.
Danni cursed herself. "I know this isn't the way I want to go. I didn't mean to turn you into bait either, but..."
"I know." Irene grasped her husband's hand with a smile. "I understand you, Danni."
"Really?"
"So, what should I do?"

The sudden end of the meeting with Danni left Irene with a lot on her mind. She didn't mind, it was just that it took strategy and careful thought to get into the enemy's circle.
"I thought you were crazy, but Danni's even crazier," chuckled Jeff sitting on Irene's desk.
"You don't have to be. You must understand the situation too."
"I don't."
"It's up to you."
"So what are you going to do, Irene?" asked Jeff. "Are you going to be his sex slave?"
Irene threw her partner a dagger look. Then she exhaled softly. "In the end, it was the first lure for him."
"Yeah. Who doesn't like sex anyway, right?"
Irene turned her head again. Then, both of them looked at each other. Jeff casually raised one eyebrow while Irene looked cold.
Suddenly, Jeff was stirred up. Damn, why does the cold Irene look sexy? Those eyes... Jeff could get lost in them and to be honest, the slight fear I saw in them turned Jeff on.
Jeff caressed Irene's cheek, which took the woman by surprise. "You're stupid and your husband is more stupid."
While sitting on the table and Irene on the chair, Jeff ripped the top of her thin shirt to shreds, exposing her bare breasts in front of his cold and heartless eyes. Even Irene seemed to get carried away.
"I want to feel them before Alex tames you, Irene," Jeff whispers.
The man devoured Irene's sexy lips. Even the woman was dumbfounded, but Jeff continued to break her lips with his tongue so that Irene opened her mouth in a blindfold. The feeling gets even more intense when Jeff squeezes her breasts.
Having not had sex for so long, Irene feels like this is a training session before taming Alex Matthew.
