Asher POV
"'s this how the new Alpha King treated his girl?", I teased my brother after seeing him torturing a female omega.
Dante raises his brows towards me. I know he's pissed after knowing that I came home.
" Did mom knows you're here?", instead of asking me if I'm okay, it seems like he doesn't care.
Yeah, my brother is like that since I left him when we were young that's why he hated me for leaving him.
"Yes, she's the one who told me the news about you like the new Alpha of the Moonshadow Packs. I came here to
congratulate you!, I said while my eyes were glued to the poor girl behind my brother.
I feel sorry for her.
"Can you untie her and let her go? She looks wasted and despair!", I am trying to save the girl.
My wolf was dancing inside me, telling me that he's excited to meet this girl. I tried to hide it from my brother because I can feel that the girl was his new pet.
Ashina just stayed quiet while listening to both of them. She can't tell who was Dante and Asher since their face looks like even with their voice.
Too deep and cold. Asher seems nice though.
"Don't mind her. And take note, she's not my girl!", he corrected his twins about Ashina .
"Really? Well, if that's the case, I will take her as my girl then", he replied and went towards her and unchained her.
Dante 's scowled and wanted to stop him but he decided to let her go.
Anyway, it's good for her to be away from him since no one will notice her scents.
"Ashina , right?", he asked her and she nods her head.
" I am Asher, Dante 's twin brother. Nice to meet you!", he said while reaching his hands for a shake towards her.
Ashina was hesitant to take his hands because she had no idea if he's another version of her cruel mate or not. But she can't hide the fact that this twin shared the same wolves inside them.
"Ashina , my wolf wants him too. His wolf has the same bonds as the wolf I want to mate. " Her wolf Aria whispered in her head.
She tried to act like she didn't care about their bonds even one of them was her mate since Dante rejected her. She had nothing to do about them even with Asher. She will stay good in the meantime so her family will be out of danger.
"Nice to meet you too." She decided to accept his handshake.
Dante raises his brows while looking at them.
"You're lucky, my brother likes you," he said before leaving them both in the dungeon.
Asher POV
I wanted to surprise the Queen so I came home without notice.
As I entered the palace gate, I gasp for air until I smelled an unusual scent somewhere.
"Asher, I think, I found my mate!", my wolf Hugo cheered inside me.
"Yeah, I can feel it too. But she seems in remorse and suffering. Let's go and find her." I said to my wolf..
After staying in the human world for almost fifteen years, I lived there looking for my mate but it's impossible since it's the realms of humans and not like us werewolves..
Many things happened there. As one of the richest bachelors, I became busy developing and governing my company so looking for a mate is not my main priority until I decided to go home to my kind. The Shadowborn Kingdom, my homeland where I was born and trained as an Alpha of the packs but since only one of us will heir the throne, our mom decided to sent me to another world where people don't shift like wolves with sharp fangs and claws.
I was sent using a secret route where only the Queen knows where is it. I went back here using the same path while nobody followed me.
I took a deep breath after closing the gate. Hugo soldiers thought I am Dante .
"My Lord, we didn't saw you going for a hunt! How come you got in here?", they look confused asking me.
I decided to tell them the truth.
" Has anyone of you knew that Dante has a twin? Well, it's me. Call me Alpha Asher." | proudly introduced myself to the Hugo soldiers.
I saw how they widened their eyes in my sudden revelation. I continue walking to the palace and the scents of a she-wolf girl keep getting stronger.
"Where are you? " I mumbled until I came down the dungeon.
I saw no signs of my brother Dante outside and the Queen so I made my way down where I scented her smell.
My intuition was right. I found my brother here while torturing a helpless and weak omega which her smell tells me that her wolf was my wolf's mate.
Her beautiful brown eyes were mesmerizing and her ebony hair adds vibrant to her hearted small face. Of all the girls I've met in my life, she's the one who caught my eyes. No wonder she's my lost mate.
"Is this how you treat your girl?", I said behind my brother.
Dante looked back and was surprised to see me.
"Asher? What are you doing here? I thought you won't going back anymore!
I know my brother isn't happy to see me.
I went closer and put my hands on his shoulders.
" How will I not miss my twin brother?
I'm so sorry for not here for so long. You know I'm a famous businessman on earth. " I uttered.
I know how hard it to live without my twin and I know how Dante feels when
Ileft him.
He took a deep sigh and glared at me not because he's angry at me but because he's pissed because he just misses me too.
I remember when he keeps crying and beg mom to let me stay but because it's not good to let us stay under one roof, I accepted my destiny.
While the twin brothers reunited with each other, Enzo just lurked in their shadows as a black snake that ready to crawled and bit his master's tail anytime.
"I swear, that was the last smile you and your twin will do. I will kill all of you especially the Queen!", he murmured to himself after sneaking into the dungeon.
Ashina was relieved that Asher came and help her to get out of the dungeon but Dante warned her that the investigation is still ongoing.
She won't take away from her destiny whatever she does, her hybrid form brought danger to herself and her family.
It's not her fault that she was born different.
The moon goddess itself made her like this since it's craved in her blood the kind she was, the species where everyone feared of. She's the chosen one, the moon goddess chose her to be the mate for a hybrid wolf too. They reunited and found each other but in the wrong situation and bonds.
