Chapter 107

Ryan's POV

I should have known that Gabriel was cunning and smart, I should have pointed out that he would creep in the silver claw pack. He has nowhere to go before no one to shield him.

I stepped on the accelerator and increased the speed limit, Irene was In Front next to me as she described the route I should take. According to the painting that Elsa drew, Irene said the house was part of Gabriel's secluded area in the pack and there were rumors that it belonged to his mother but I didn't care about that. All I wanted was to get my mate back safely.

"Stay in the car with her." I told Irene as I dropped off.

Elsa was unconscious and according to her she had drained all her energy in creating the spell and it would take weeks for her to recover so I had to go alone.

"Please be safe!" Irene called as I walked away.

As I took some steps forward, I perceived an aura, I wasn't sure if it belonged to Gabriel. I took my phone and sent instructions to Connor to order my men stationed in the pack to surround the apartment within the next thirty minutes.

I heard a loud growl, clattering sounds and I dashed inside. The building wasn't big I looked around in high alert, I deepened my senses and enhanced them and from that I was able to feel two more people in the building. As I walked carefully my claws out ready to exterminate any threat, my eyes widened when Tasha's scent hit my nose hardly.

"TASHA!!" I kicked the door open and I gasped.

My wolf took over immediately when I saw Tasha lifting Gabriel up by the neck. I was about to launch forward to kill the son of a bastard when he dug into Tasha's chest and Leaped out of the window.

"Ryan!!" Tasha whimpered as I was about to chase after him.

I stopped at the window, rushed to her side, and lifted her so she could be in my arms.

"Hey…look at…me." My eyes clouded when I saw the scratch on her skin.

I fought in my mind whether to stay with her or chase after Gabriel.

"Ryan." Her hands flung to my neck as she hugged me.

"I'm…sorry." I bursted Into tears.

"Ryan ….." She sobbed in my neck, holding onto me tightly like I was going to disappear.

"Hey…" I pulled gently away from her, checking her face and then her wound which had suddenly healed.

"What happened?" I pointed at her hair which was now silver.

My eyes darkened as I stared into her eyes, my jaw tightened in anger.

"Did .. he.. do.. this?" I asked her, my eyes flaring in anger.

"No." She shook her head and hugged me again."I'm scared Ryan…I've.. never been scared like this…in.. my entire life." She bursted into tears and my heart twisted in a knot.

I heard heavy footsteps running to where we were, I looked up and saw that my men had come. I shielded Tasha away from their eyes, since some parts of her body were bare.

"Find Gabriel and when you do bring him to me alive!!" I ordered and they all leaped outside.

"I…want.. to.. go home." She whispered.

"I know." I kissed her forehead, inhaling her scent deeply to calm me down.

An assurance that she was right here with me that she was safe. I scooped her up in my arms and rushed out, Elsa was standing by the car, she immediately opened the door as I placed Tasha in the seat. I frowned when I didn't see Irene where she was seated.

"Where is Ire-?"

"She chased after him, I tried to stop her but she was determined." Elsa answered.

"Is she the one?" Elsa's eyes were on Tash but her lips parted when she saw Tasha's hair.

Elsa mounted in and went ahead in checking Tasha's hair and body worriedly.

"What's wrong?" I panicked.

"Only a powerful being possesses this trait, only two people in the coven history were known for this feature." Elsa said in admiration. "Now that I look at her she looks a lot like her." She completed.

"Who?" My eyes were still in Tasha as I watched her chest rise up and down to check if she was still breathing.

"Her honour Elsa." Elsa looked at me.

"If you are talking about the powerful witch Elsa, then you are looking at her daughter." Elsa's mouth went agape when I told her.

I entered the car, started then and drove off to the border, Connor and the rest would have been waiting.

"You mean she is her honored daughter!!" Elsa was just able to process my words.

"Wow!" She exclaimed.

I watched how she paid homage to Tasha through the rearview mirror. But what clouded my mind was what happened to her, I hope Gabriel didn't harm her.

"You are one lucky man Alpha." Elsa whispered and I heard clearly.

"Why did you say so?" I asked.

"You heard that!"

"I'm an Alpha, a werewolf. We have a keen sense of hearing."

"You don't know how much of a gem this woman is, I guess that was what led to her kidnapping."

I pondered on Elsa's words as I drove, soon we got to the border like I expected Connor and Dante were waiting with some of the pack warriors. I pulled the car over and came out of the car. They ram to meet me before running past me to check Tasha in the car.

"Is she fine!" Dante asked worriedly.

"We came as fast as we could." Connor spoke.

"I need you to take them home, make sure Luka attends to both of them." I didn't want to leave Tasha alone, but I wasn't going to leave Silver Claw without him.

"You aren't coming with us?" Elsa asked.

"Yes, I have some scores to settle and Irene to save." I answered.

I stepped back from the car and shifted into my wolf form.

''Be careful with my mate.' I warned Connor before running back to get my revenge.
