Chapter 105
Love can't be forced.
Natasha's POV
I laid flat on the floor. I didn't know what Gabriel Injected me with but he had successfully taken my blood and it was painful. I'm sure he took most of my blood because I was feeling much weaker than when I was pregnant.
I wondered what he wanted to do with my blood and who was the man that he said was coming.
"Power…this…is…the…moment.. I really need you." I mumbled sadly.
"You are awake." My ears squinted to Gabriel's annoying voice.
"What…did you inject me with?" My eyes were heavy and it was hard keeping them open.
"Don't worry, soon you will feel better." He rubbed his hands on my hair slowly.
I used all the strength I could muster, I let my fangs out and I bit into his arms mercilessly. He growled painfully and shifted to the back, his hands on each other as he tried to stop the bleeding from flowing out the more.
"I .. warned …you." I spat his blood out of my mouth.
"Let's see if you have all that nonsense when the full moon comes out tonight!" He yelled angrily and pulled me by the hair harshly.
I winced when he pulled my hair roughly, my eyes stung and tears threatened to flow out. This was one thing I hated and feared not being able to defend myself.
"You will be mine tonight.. Natasha." His lips quivered as he drew closer.
"You lie Gabriel." I sobbed. "Let me go, I won't ever love you, not even in my other life!" I yelled.
His jaw tightened, his face went sour and he lifted his hands to hit me. I shut my eyes waiting for the impact of his slap but it never came. He dropped my hair and I hit my head on the ground.
"I'm going to mark you tonight Natasha." Gabriel stood up and I gasped in shock.
Bastard.
"Tonight is the full moon, we will receive the blessing of the moon and both fight alongside whether you like it or not. That's your fate." Jr said coldly before slamming the door shut.
"I …would… rather die than let that happen." I murmured to myself when he left.
My heart ached as I stared at the wall, my powers didn't show my wolf was weak, the loss of contact with her mate was excruciating enough and now Gabriel wanted to mark us which would only lead to her death.
The memories of how Ryan and I met, how we went on a date. How we chased each other in our wolf forms, how we both took turns in watching Jayden sleep flooded my mind.
I wanted to live for them, Ryan and Jayden. I was very determined and desperate to escape Gabriel because I knew I wouldn't be able to live without them but not anymore.
I wouldn't be able to live with myself when Gabriel marks me and my mate and child suffer, instead I choose death knowing Gabriel doesn't have any hold of my family and that I know I can watch them from the heavens.
"Love is about sacrifice…right?" I whispered silently.
"I'm.. sure they…will understand that I did it to protect them…that…I did it because I love them." Tears trickled down harshly.
The dread of falling asleep got to me. I was scared that Gabriel might sneak in while I was sleeping and mark me. I rested my back on the wall and watched the clouds. My heart beat increased as the clouds became darker and darker and darker.
Soon the moon came out in its glory and I released my claws. I was ready to pierce into my heart, the moment Gabriel walked in. My eyes left the windows to the door waiting expectantly to hear Gabriel's footsteps.
"Natasha-" The door flung open and Gabriel froze in his tracks.
"What the heck are you doing!" He yelled and wanted to spend time with me but refrained from doing so.
"Since you wanted to do it the hard way, then let's do it the hard way Gabriel Fernandez." I smirked as I pulled my claw closer to my chest.
"Natasha, wait, we can talk this out, he is almost here, don't do this." Gabriel pleaded and for once I could see fear in his eyes.
"Who is coming!" I yelled but didn't lower my hand.
"You will know him when he comes, but I really need to mark you now." He took some slow steps forward.
I scoffed at him, not satisfied with his response. Marking was supposed to be mutual but Gabriel wanted it forcefully. Like I was a tool, his belonging.
The only person I belonged to was Ryan…Ryan alone.
"Too late." I drugged my claws Into my chest.
"!!" Gabriel growled loudly and sped to my side.
He held my hand with all of his strength preventing me from digging further.
"Stop this nonsense!!" He yelled.
But I was tired, I wanted to end all of this enough of all the suffering.
"You.. won." I smiled, trying to dig in deeper.
"We can talk this out Tasha."
"What…did…you call.. me?" My eyes met his gaze.
A sudden anger like a wave started building in my stomach.
"I said Tasha you-"
"Don't call me that!!" I yelled at him.
"I think I prefer calling you Tasha now, so let go of this now, let me mark you let's meet Noone and let end all of-"
"I SAID DON'T CALL ME TASHA!!!" I growled loudly in anger making the whole room to vibrate
The window glass broke and I stood up lifting Gabriel up by the neck, his legs dangling in the air. His hands went to my hand that was dangerously tightening around his neck.
"You don't have the right to call me that name!!" I yelled at his face.
Only Ryan calls me that, only him should no one else.
"Your…eyes…your hair Natasha." He stammered nervously.
My eyeball rolled to check my hair and my eyes widened when I saw that the colour had changed to silver.
