Epilogue
It has passed a month already from the last surprised meeting that we had from all the packs Alphas and Elders that came to Blue Moon’s pack, to speak with Marcus voicing out what they wished.


Flashback

“We want you to be our Alpha King, a ruler of all shifter communities at once.”
There was silence as everyone was silently looking at Marcus and his reaction.
He stood there silently, looking at the Elder, feeling surprised by his words. His eyes roamed around the hall as he was observing everyone’s faces.
Soon as his eyes meet mine, I decided to use our mind link and call his name, “Marcus?”
He was silent for a second before I heard his voice, “Yes?”
“Did you not hear what they are asking?” I continued on, speaking through our mind link.
“Olivia…” he started, but I knew what he was about to say.
“They are right.” I said making him look over at me questioningly, waiting for me to finish.
“You did so much and showed your courage and strength, even your aura is radiating more powerful than any other shifter in the world.” I said.
He arched his eyebrow at me, saying, “What is your point?”
I looked at him, trying to show him what I am saying is true, “My point is, they admire you, they all feel safe with you. You give them hope and courage and I don’t know of any other Alpha, better than you, to lead them all, to keep the peace, and help the ones in need. You are chosen for a reason and this is your destiny.”
Marcus was silently taking in my words as his eyes looked deep into my own.
He turned away from me, looking over the full room until his eyes finally have landed on the Elder.
“What you all are asking of me is a big thing and a big responsibility to add to it.” He said, making everyone to hold on to their breaths as they listened carefully.
“I never seen myself as an Alpha King, heck all I know is how to lead my pack and even that I am still learning as I go, so I am not sure about accepting this responsibility, it just…” he was saying but Damon cuts him off, “I was there with you, fighting alongside you when we were in the land of darkness. I as every other shifter, we could feel your power on that battlefield, and everyone could see how you fought those mutants off. It was difficult, but you dealt with the situation as a true Alpha King would. Everyone respects you and values your opinion, and I don’t see anyone more fit for the position than you to accept it.”
Marcus listened to Damon in silence, but I could feel his emotions as their words surprised him.
Edmond walked towards Marcus, placing his hand onto his shoulder, “You are meant for great things and many more that will follow, you already are Alpha of the great White Moon warriors but your destiny doesn’t stop on that and I know you can feel it within you.”
Marcus slowly took in a deep breath before looking back to the grand hall.
“If you are certain of your decision to give me the title and proclaim me as your Alpha King…” he took my hand into his as he continued, “Then I will accept the title and all that comes with it.”
Cheers mixed together with the sound of clapping sounded through the hall as everyone stood up and slowly approached us to shake hands.


End of flashback



The word of Marcus becoming Alpha King of all shifters, spread around fast soon after the meeting, so deciding that for all would be good to have a gathering and to meet them all, we had a large gathering party.
After meeting packs, everything after that passed in a blur, with all the preparations that were going on for the Alpha King and Luna Queen ceremony, yes Marcus and I will be proclaimed as Alpha and Luna as it should have been a long time ago.
Even so, I had many responsibilities to do as arranging the ceremony, guests, food and decorations and all, I never once avoided my duty to my friends and family.
Annie still needed me, so every day, Lizzy and I would take her out for a stroll to breathe fresh air.
She was thankfully better, and I believe it is mostly because of Tanner. It was surprising to see him so adult and serious when he always seemed immature and goofy, but I can see she was slowly coming out from her shell, all thanks to him, mostly.
When Annie got out from the pack hospital, I wanted to move her closer to my side but Tanner was adamant to give her one of free rooms on his floor and Marcus agreed to it.
She still spoke little, but at least she would answer yes or no, which was progress.
We accepted to move into the former Elder lands together with our White Moon warriors and Blue Moon pack as the former Elder lands stood in the center, connecting with all shifter packs so it would be easier for them to reach for Marcus and for Marcus to do his duty.
Finally, the big day has come, making everyone in the vast castle running around it like crazy, preparing everything for the big ceremony to which all the packs and communities are attending.
I sauntered towards the kitchen together with Annie and Lizzy, who was holding Annie’s other hand, just in time to see my mother working in the kitchen with other members.
“No… no… Rosa, the white toppings go on chocolate and purple ones on vanilla.” I heard my mom’s voice as she rushed from the over towards the counter where Rosa was decorating what seemed to be muffins.
“Mom.” I called her gaining her attention as she looked over at me and smiled, “O, hey darling, do you need something?”
I chuckled at her sweet words, “Calm down, everything is going as planned.”
She shook her head, looking around the kitchen, “Everything has to be perfect, after all it is not every day that my little girl is having her royal ceremony.” She grinned at me, making me to roll my eyes.
“There is still a lot of time before it will start so don’t overdue it.” I told her to which she just smiled at me.
A chuckle sounded coming from behind me as my father entered the kitchen and said, “We are talking about your mother here, baby girl.”
Lizzy and I chuckled at his words that earned a snort that came from my mother.
“One day Ollie you will be a mother and you will do same as I am.” My mother said to me making my chuckle to die down.
Marcus, Damon, Azrael, and James entered a second after into the kitchen, making me look at Marcus as he smiled and gave me a wink that made my cheeks to flush red.
“We placed the decorations where you instructed us, Elizabeth.” Marcus said to my mother, to which she grinned.
She walked towards them and said, “Great, now could you please take out and place the seating while my dear husband will help you with that?” she looked over at my father who sagged his shoulders but nodded his head.
The males left the kitchen, leaving us to our duties as Lizzy and I helped to prepare food while Annie sat down silently.
Soon as we were done with food and decorations placing, Annie, Lizzy and I went to my room to get dressed as Mandy was there waiting for us to help us out.
Mandy gave me the dress she picked up from the tailor that was made especially for this occasion today and the moment I opened the cover that was over the dress, a gasp left my lips at the beauty of the dress.
It was a long, ivory dress with an open back and lace that covered all over the fabric in tiny patterns of white tiny sea shells and pearls all over the dress.
There were high heels same color as my dress waiting in the bag for me to wear as I walked towards the bathroom to put on my new dress.
Walking outside the bathroom, with dress perfectly following my curves, I took the heels and put them on my feet as I sat down near the vanity so Mandy can style my hair.
Soon after my makeup and my hair were done, I looked over at the mirror to see how the last touches look all together.
My makeup was light, more natural just how I like it with my hair curled and pulled up, leaving just a few locks to fall down as few ivory pearls were decorating my light brown hair.
“You look stunning.” Lizzy said making even Annie to look up at me and give me a small smile that warmed my heart.
“It is time.” Mandy proclaimed, and we all ambled down the stair heading towards the back entrance that will lead us to the clearing where everyone was already waiting for our arrival.
It was already sunset, which meant the ceremony is about to start.
Damon, James, my father, and Tanner were waiting for us as Damon gave his hand to Lizzy who took it happily as they walked ahead followed by James and Mandy as Tanner gently held Annie’s hand leaving me to led by my father.
“Well, this is it baby girl, are you ready?” my dad asked me, making me look up at him to give him a wide smile, “I am daddy.” I said to him, making him lean down to kiss my forehead.
The path we walked over was marked by little fairy lights all the way towards the clearing where passing through the beautifully decorated arch with beautiful white roses.
Passing through the arch, I saw an enormous crowd of people sitting down on benches while the white rose petals lead the way towards the little podium on which stood Marcus.
My dad kissed my forehead once again, soon as we walked towards the podium as he walked away to meet my mother who was already silently crying.
I turned towards Marcus whose eyes were shining so bright as he took my hand and asked me, “Are you ready, my love?”
I smiled lovingly at him as I answered, “Ready as we ever be.”
He smiled at me once more before he nodded his head to the Elder who was going to conduct our ceremony.
The Elder Forman walked towards us and said, “Today is a special day for all of us as of today we are starting new traditions and new better life. Today we are here to unite Marcus and Olivia as official Alpha and Luna but not only that, this ceremony is a Royal ceremony as their titles will be Alpha King and Luna Queen, rulers of all shifters, bringers of peace and protectors of all.”
Sounds of joy sounded all around us as the Elder continued, “Alpha Marcus please take your Luna’s hand and repeat after me.”
Marcus held my hand as the Elder placed his above ours and said, “Accipio huius unitatis toto corde meo, promissum et custodiat te amabo semper et in saecula saeculorum meum Atlas Orbis.” (I accept this unity with all my heart, promising I will love and protect my Luna always and forever.)
Marcus repeated the words as Elder Forman instructed him to and soon as he was finished, Elder Forman looked over at me and said, “Luna Olivia, please repeat after me.” He said to me as I silently waited for him to continue, feeling my heart beating with joy and love as this day has finally come.
“Accipio huius unitatis toto corde meo, alpha meam foveam, et promissum semper et in aeternum amabo.” (I accept this unity with all my heart, promising I will love and cherish my Alpha always and forever.) Elder Forman said the words, making me repeat them as I looked into Marcus’s eyes.
The moment the words left my mouth, cheers erupted, making Elder Forman to rise his hand to silence them down. They brought a golden cup, making Elder to take it as he gave a ceremonial knife that belonged to the Blue Moons pack, instructing us to slice our palms and drop few drops of our blood into the golden cup.
Marcus held out his palm as he made a slight cut with the knife, drawing out a little blood that he let to fall down into the cup. Soon as he was done, he gave me the knife to do the same, making me repeat what he just did.
As we both did like Elder Forman instructed us, he said the words, “Duae coniungere nexu occultum foedus aeternum.” (Connect these two with a secret bond that binds them forever.)
The little spark that glowed flew from our joined hands at the exact moment those words were said.
Elder Forman smiled before he turned away and came back with a beautiful big sapphire in his hands.
He gave the sapphire to Marcus and said, “Now for the final part. Do you Alpha Marcus accept the title as an Alpha King of whole shifters and all that comes with it?”
Marcus looked at the sapphire as he said, “Yes, I do.”
“Luna Olivia, please hold the sapphire together with Alpha Marcus.” The Elder Forman asked me so I extended my palm as Marcus placed the sapphire in it and his palm under my own, waiting for what is next to happen.
“Do you both pledge to be fair and rule the world of shifters with justice, helping the ones in need and leading all into the prosperity and greater future?” Elder Forman asked us both.
Marcus and I spoke together at the same time, with determination showing in our voices, “We pledge with our hearts to be fair and rule with justice.”
The sapphire glowed as the words were said, making everyone gasp for a moment before they stood up as the sapphire stopped glowing.
Elder Forman, took the sapphire and spoke to the crowd, “My dear friends, and family, shifters, I present to you our Alpha King Marcus and Luna Queen Olivia.”
Everyone’s head bowed down, showing their submission to their new leaders as we stood there watching proudly at the enormous crowd that was accepting us.
I looked over at my mate, my Marcus as he led us down from the podium, greeting every member as they came to congratulate us.
As everyone was busy filled with joy and happiness, celebrating the beginning of a new world under Marcus’ rule, none has noticed a darkness lurking from its shadows, watching as it patiently waited for its right moment to come.
