CHAPTER 9 – THE ONE WITH OLD SONGS 1.5
He recently accidentally killed his own girlfriend. He tried to have sex with her because he wanted to have a child, but she didn't want to. Because of that, he accidentally raped and killed her. Unintentional in his own opinion. He blames drugs because he was addicted at the time.
He tried to hide his girlfriend's body, but the police eventually found it and he became the main suspect who is now all over the news. Because of fear and the belief that he did not mean to do it and that he regretted his crime, he quickly ran away and hid.
He couldn't stop the tears from flowing from his eyes. Even though the law didn't find him, the man who took the law into his own hands found him. At this moment, he felt a lot of remorse.
Regret that he hasn't surrendered to the police yet. I wish he had surrendered, rather than suffer a gruesome death at the hands of a serial killer.
~Wait down, wait down along the stream
How very, very sweet it will seem
Once more just to dream
In the silvery moonlight~
He slowly lifted himself up and used all his strength to get up from the bed. His whole body felt weak. He didn't know why, but it seemed like some chemical had been used to make him feel this way.
When he got up, he immediately saw the driver of the car. He couldn't see him well because of the darkness inside the car. But he knew that he was wrapped in a black jacket with a hood. In addition, he could also see his body moving as if he was accompanying every rhythm of the song playing in the car.
~My honey I know (I know) With the dawn that you will be gone
But tonight you belong to me
Just to little old me~
As the song ended, the car turned off the side of the road, entering a forested area. When the road was no longer visible, he stopped the car.
Because of that, the man quickly closed his eyes and lay down on the floor again to pretend to be unconscious. He gradually focused his attention on the hand that was tied. He searched for the end of the rope to free his hand from the binding.
That's when he realized that the way he was tied wasn't that complicated and he quickly loosened the rope, but he didn't remove it right away.
I need to escape...
He whispered with determination in his mind. His only plan was to escape. He didn't know how or how strong the person he was with would die, but he knew he would do everything to save his own life. If he could escape, he would surrender to the police. He promised himself and even promised all the saints that he would change.
He felt the door next to the driver's seat open and the driver exit the car. A few seconds later, the door to the backseat near where his feet were positioned also opened.
It was so dark that even if he opened his eyes, he couldn't see much. The part of the forest where they were now was very thick and only a little moonlight was able to penetrate between the towering trees.
The man bit his own tongue hard when he felt someone grab his legs and drag him out of the car. He felt the pain as his body fell to the ground covered in small stones. He tried not to feel it.
When the killer got her out of the car, he immediately closed the car door, leaving the two other people inside, their hands tied like his. It seemed like Moonlight Lilac would kill him first, in her mind.
He opened his eyes slightly to follow the killer's movements. He saw him walk away from him and approach the driver's seat as if he was reaching for something. He was shocked when suddenly something started playing from inside the car. It was still an old song, but different from the one playing earlier. That's when he realized that the reason he approached the driver's seat was just to turn on the music.
(Playing - Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini)
~She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was afraid that somebody would see~
~Two, three, four
Tell the people what she wore~
The man quickly seized the opportunity to get up and run away. Only then did he completely remove the rope from his hand.
~It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow, polka dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow, polka dot bikini
So, in the locker, she wanted to stay~
~Two, three, four
Stick around we'll tell you more
(Bop, bop, bop, bop, bop-op-op-op-op-op-op)~
When he got to his feet, he quickly turned to run, but before he could get far, an arm wrapped around his neck from behind and pulled him down. He tried to fight back, but it was too strong and the grip on his neck was too tight.
After that, a handkerchief was suddenly placed over his face, which had a strange smell that seemed very sweet. He gradually felt dizzy, but in his desire to live, he hit his head with all his strength on the killer's face, which caused him to let go.
~She was afraid to come out in the open (bop-op-op-op)
And so a blanket around her she wore (bop-op-op-op)
She was afraid to come out in the open (bop-op-op-op)
And so she sat, bundled up on the shore (bop-op-op-op)~
The man caught his breath and crawled away from the killer. When he recovered, he immediately stood up and was about to punch the person who had choked him, but he quickly dodged as if he were an expert in fighting. Following that, he received a strong slap in the face and a kick in the neck that immediately knocked him down.
He was bigger than his opponent, but his kick was so high that it reached his neck. He was feeling a mix of emotions right now. He wanted to vomit because of the impact of his kick to his neck, but because of his desire to live...
"You animal!!!" he kicked her in the stomach with all his strength just as she was about to approach him.
