Chapter 76: The Tickle Monster
They heard laughter coming from the room. “No! No! Hewp the twickle monster is back!” They squealed with laughter as Marco chased Rebel, Ryder and River into the room. “Shadow hewp!” The three of them yelled running behind Shadow. He stood to his full height, crossed his arms across his chest and stared down at Marco. 

Marco came to a quick stop and looked up at Shadow and frowned. “Ya know, it’s not fair to run behind the BIGGEST guy around.” He said quirking his brow. “Because ya never know when the tickle monster may take him over.” 

The three pup’s eyes went wide and looked up at Shadow who was pretending to fight being taken over by the tickle monster. “Run, pups, run.” He feigned falling on the floor. 

“We protect you sissy!” Rebel and Ryder yelled and pounced on Shadow shifting into their wolf form and started nipping at him. 

“Hey, hey!” Shadow yelped as Ryder nipped his thigh just missing his most sensitive areas. “Those aren’t balls you play with.” He shrieked covering his crotch. Jen tried not to laugh but she couldn’t hold back. “Thanks for the help love.” He grumbled. 

“My pleasure. Imma here to help anytime.” She snickered.

“Ryder, Rebel get off of Shadow.” Storm laughed. “Off now.” She snapped her fingers at them. They playfully growled at Shadow and ran to their mom’s feet. “Okay you three shift back, fingers and feet please.”  She ordered. 

“Aawwoooooo!” They howled. 

“They are so precious.” Kydence cooed. River just loved being told how cute, adorable and the like she and her brothers are, so she trotted over to Kydence, stood up on her back legs and yipped.  Kydence reached down and picked River up and cuddled her. “Awe, you’re so cute!” She cooed.  River got excited and started licking Kaydence’s face. 

“River.” Storm chuckled. “Go easy on the kisses. She can go a little crazy with the kisses and don’t let her cute little fuzzy face fool you, they can be super rambunctious.” 

“It’s okay.” Kydence smiled as she returned the kisses. “Thank you for all the kisses.” She hugged River. 

“Okay c’mon princess, we need to get you changed.” Storm held her hand out. River gave one last kiss and hoped off Kydence’s lap and pranced to the room behind her mom.

While the pups were changing and relaxing the others continued their conversations. “Did I see correctly this morning,” Kota started, “did I see two small balls of fur darting around this morning?” He chuckled. 

“Yup, Rebel and Ryder.” Blasé laughed. “They are our little troublemakers; they sometimes drag their sister into their mischievousness. Not that she sticks around for any of it.” He chuckled.

“Wow, they can shift already.” Kydence asked with surprise. 

“How long have they been shifting?” Jen asked. 

“Only for a couple of months.” Blasé told them.

“C’mon, everyone is waiting for us.” Shadow motioned for them to follow him. Jen smiled and followed her mate. She was excited to get back home and see her babies.

“Well, hello there.”  The deep voice said to them. 

“Allow me to introduce King Damien and Queen Reign.” Shadow said.

Rebel and Ryder growled and stood blocking their sister, wanting to protect her. Damien explained that he is there to protect them and all shifters, wolf or not. Rebel made him pinky promise. “We both pinky promise.” Storm said holding up her pinky finger sitting down next to Damien. Rebel and Ryder wrapped their pinky around Damien and Reign’s pinky. 

River not wanting to be left out peeked out from behind Rebel. “I pinky pwmnis too?” She asked.  “Of course, c’mon in here.” Reign said. River squeezed in between Rebel and Ryder and wrapped her little pinky with theirs.

“This is Ana. She’s our house manager and this is Ducan, her mate.” Storm introduced Ana and Duncan.

“If you need anything at all she’s the one you look or ask for. Her or Duncan.” Jen said. “We’ll show the Alpha families to their rooms.” Reign said. 

“Beta’s can go with Jyden and Ryott; Gamma’s with Koltyn and Jazlyn and all the other’s go with Shadow and Jen.”  Damien finished. 

“Go ahead and rest, I will let you know when dinner is ready.” Ana told them.
