Lexus and Daffodil guided Mr. And Mrs. Marby and Dixon to the dining hall where food has been readied already. Alpha Daedos was also there, waiting for the arrival of their special visitors.
Immediately, with a smile on his face, Alpha Daedos stood up when he saw the group of Lexus entering the dining hall. He walked to meet Lexus and Daffodil and their special visitors.
“Father, may I introduce to you, Daff’s parents; Mr. and Mrs. Marby, and their family friend, Mr. Dixon.” It was Lexus who introduced their visitors to his Alpha father.
“Welcome to our place, Mr. and Mrs. Marby, and Dixon,” Alpha Daedos initiated the first greeting with a broad smile. He extended his hand for a handshake to Mr. Marby first then to Mrs. Marby and then to Dixon.
“It is a pleasure meeting you, Mr. Daedos. Your place is absolutely wonderful,” Mr. Marby replied with a wide smile too.
“We will surely love this place,” Mrs. Marby stated too with a genuine smile on her face.
Dixon simply smiled but never dare to say a word.
“I am glad that you find our place wonderful, Mr. and Mrs. Marby. Come have a seat and let us have our early dinner first.” Alpha Daedos thereafter returned to his seat and the rest followed to take their seats too.
They had a basically silent dinner except for time-to-time questions from Mrs. Marby to Alpha Daedos. After the dinner, Lexus and Daffodil accompanied Mr. And Mrs. Marby first and then lastly Dixon to the guestrooms especially prepared for them.
Before finally entering his room, Dixon cleared his throat and then spoke, “Lexus, thank you for accepting me here. I am grateful for that.” He then smiled and offered a handshake to Lexus and nodded at Daffodil.
Lexus took Dixon’s offered hand and smiled too. He was looking at Dixon deeply as he wanted to see through what was inside the man’s mind.
Lexus’ eyes squinted a bit in a quick manner when he read something in Dixon’s open mind. He looked at the man again with his eyes penetrating into his, but the latter looked away.
By that, Lexus knew that he needs to be careful with Dixon, and he needs to watch his every move while he is inside their territory.
Whatever it was that Lexus read inside Dixon’s mind, he did not dare inform Daffodil about it. He does not want to create any impression from Daffodil that he is trying to discredit Dixon. He kept his mouth shut.
“Sweet, are you going to go to your room now or would you like still to have coffee with me on the balcony?” Lexus asked Daff after Dixon closed the door of his room.
Daffodil smiled at Lexus and then gently took his hand. “Can I rest already? I don’t want to drink coffee this time as I wanted to sleep early, Sweety. Would it be alright with you?”
Lexus smiled and nodded. “Of course, my Sweet. Come, let me accompany you to your room.”
They walked hand and hand to Daffodil’s room. From a distance, Drew who was walking to his room saw Lexus and Daffodil. He furrowed seeing them coming from one of the guest rooms.

Drew turned his back instead of approaching Lexus and Daffodil. He went to the guard assigned at the main door of the packhouse and asked, “Who are our visitors today?”
“Beta Drew, we have three visitors today; the parents of Ms. Daffodil and another man, who I heard to be a family friend of Ms. Daffodil,” the guard answered without hesitation.
“Really?” a wicked smile suddenly cross Drew’s eyes. He walked back to his room and there he fell into deep thoughts.
Something is brewing in Drew’s mind and his eyes suddenly sparked with excitement.
Dixon was restless inside his room. He could feel something strange in this place of Lexus, although he could not determine what it is yet. He alighted from his bed and decided to get out. He felt bored and not yet sleepy. He passed through the main door of the big house of Lexus, which he noticed to have two guards therein.
The two guards looked at Dixon and one of them asked, “Where are you going, Sir? It is not safe to roam away from the packhouse.”
“Packhouse?” With a furrowed forehead, Dixon asked.
“This house I mean, Sir.” The guard retorted quickly while looking at his companion and not to Dixon. He suddenly became fidgety.
Dixon was puzzled but he did not let the two guards notice it. “I see. Oh, I will not be walking far. Do you have a place here where I could just sit and breathe in relaxation?”
“You can sit in the swing inside the garden or there is a lanai on the left side, Sir.” It was the same guard who replied to Dixon.
“Alright. I will sit there in the garden.” Dixon then walked to the garden and sat on the big swing. He could not be relaxed however as he could feel something different around him. His body hairs especially that on his neck seemed to be standing creepily. He could feel like his every move has been being watched. He looked around but he saw nothing. He took a deep breath and tried to relax.
From a distance, hiding in the big flowering plants, two red eyes were watching Dixon. His eyes were squinting with excitement as he openly showed his long and pointed canines, ready to gobble the prey nearby.
Dixon suddenly felt cold, and his body hairs stood up. He looked around again but have seen nothing.
The pair of red eyes squinted more, seeing that Dixon seemed to notice the presence of someone else inside the garden area.
When Dixon stood up with the obvious plan to leave the garden area already, the owner of the pair of red eyes stood up too.
