While walking to the office of his Alpha Father, Lexus could not help to think about Dixon. As a man, he could feel that Dixon has a special feeling for Daffodil. It was very obvious by the way he looked at her and her expression showed it all when Daffodil informed him that she had a fiance, who is him, and that they are getting married already. Lexus saw the pain and sudden gloom that crossed Dixon’s face when Daffodil introduced him as her fiance. He was caught off guard and was not able to hide his true feelings for Daffodil.
By that, Lexus became cautious. Not in the world would he allow Dixon to have a solo moment with Daffodil, knowing that he feels something for her. It is better safe than having a problem later on.
As he looked up, Lexus noticed that his Alpha father’s office was just a few steps away. He rushed his steps and then knocked on the door as he reached the Alphas office.
“Come in. It is not locked.” Lexus heard Alpha Daedos say from inside the office. He entered the Alpha’s office, and automatically smiled at his father when he saw him inside looking at him already.
“Father, are you busy? Is it alright to have a talk with you now?” he asked while looking at the documents on top of his desk.
“Of course, we can talk now, my son. I just finished reading some business trading proposals from nearby packs. Have a seat and tell me what are the things you wanted to discuss with me.” Alpha Daedos smiled at his son and focused his attention on him.
“My appointment as the new Alpha is by next month already, but I really wanted to marry Daffodil before that. I want it soonest.” Lexus laid down immediately his purpose for coming into the Alpha’s office.
Alpha Daedos smiled brightly and nodded. “Lexus, my son, no one is stopping you to do that. You can marry the Golden She-wolf anytime that you wanted.”
Hearing his Alpha Father’s positive response in relation to his request for immediate marriage to Daffodil, Lexus could not suppress his emotion as he stood up and hugged his father.
“Thank you, Father.”
“You are welcome, son. Now, just tell me and I myself will summon the pack’s wedding planner to have a meeting with you and Daffodil.” He tapped his shoulder, letting him feel that he will always be there to support him in his every decision.
“It will be helpful, father. Can I have a meeting with the wedding planner tomorrow afternoon? Say, around four o’clock in the afternoon.” Lexus was confident that Daffodil will agree to his plan to have their wedding soonest.
“Of course. I will inform our wedding planner then. You and Daffodil will not be burdened as to what to do to make your wedding a grand one, even if it will be a short time of preparation only. Leave that to the hands of our expert and well-experienced wedding planner.” Alpha Daedos agreed without any question at all. The earlier that Lexus will be married to the Golden She-wolf, the better. Even until now, there are still some Alphas who wanted the Golden She-Wolf and they cannot risk losing her to any of those also strong Alphas.

After visiting and speaking with his Alpha Father, Lexus decided to go to Daffodil’s room. He needs to inform her of his plan that he just discussed with Alpha Daedos. Also, he needs to inform her of their meeting with the wedding planner tomorrow afternoon.
He walked fast toward Daffodil’s room. About to knock on her door, his sharp sense of hearing was suddenly disturbed by Daffodil’s voice. She seemed to be speaking with someone, most probably on the phone.
He did not will it but when he was about to turn his back, he heard what she said.
“Dixon, you are special to me too, you are like a brother to me. I know you like me, you love me more than a friend or a sister, but I am sorry, I cannot reciprocate that. There is someone out there who will truly love you. You are a good man Dixon, it will not be hard for anyone to like you, to love you,” Daffodil said over the phone, which Lexus clearly heard.
His forehead furrowed as he confirmed that indeed Dixon has a special feeling for Daffodil. “It is better to speak with Daffodil now, then,” he thought and for a moment he stared at the door before his hand moved to knock on it.
He heard Daffodil’s voice again, speaking to Dixon over the phone. “Dixon, I need to hang up now. Someone is knocking on my door. Bye, and see you next time.” Thereafter, Lexus heard Daffodil’s footsteps approaching the door.
“Hi Sweetheart, am I disturbing you?” he asked quickly the moment Daffodil opened the door.
“Nope. It is alright, Lex. I just finished speaking with Dixon on the phone,” Daffodil replied honestly which made Lexus to smile. Now he knew how loyal Daffodil to him is. She is not lying to him.
“Ohh, alright. Hmm, I decided to come since I need to discuss something with you.”
“Come inside, Lex. Let me hear your purpose for coming here,” Daffodil said while widening the opening of the door to let Lexus come in.
Lexus wrapped his arm around Daffodil’s shoulders and they walked to the bed at the same time.
When they were sitting on the bed already, Lexus took hold of the hands of Daffodil and looked at her seriously.
“What is it, Lex?” Curious, Daffodil asked.
“Daff, Alpha father, and I just discussed about our soon-to-be-held wedding.”
She nodded with a smile and then spoke again. “And, what about that, my love?”
“Well, father agreed to my suggestion that we need to get married before my appointment as the new Alpha of this pack. Do you agree, Daff?”
Daffodil was taken aback upon hearing Alex’s statement. “So soon? We have less than a month’s preparation only. Can we be able to do that, Lex?”
“Yes. We have our pack’s wedding planner who could help us with everything when it comes to wedding planning and preparation.”
Daffodil fell silent for a moment while looking at Lexus. She could tell the eagerness in his expression to marry her that soon. Who is she to disagree with? She thought.
“So be it then, Lex.” She smiled at him and nodded. “I want to be your wife, soonest, Sweetheart,” she added.
What Daffodil said brought a rainbow to Lexus’ heart. He was happy hearing her conform without thinking or arguing furthermore.
“Thank you, Sweety. Tomorrow at around four o’clock in the afternoon, we will have a meeting with the wedding planner.” He announced and Daffodil nodded while pinching softly his cheeks.
“So, you already arranged it, without asking me first, hmm?” she said frowning, but she was just teasing him.
Lexus grinned at her and kissed her. “Did you mind that I arranged our meeting with the wedding planner already?” he said after the kiss.
Daffodil shook her head and then kissed him again. Lexus did not let her finish the kiss that easily. He kissed her back so passionately, but before, their bodies would turn to burn like fires again, Daffodil ended the kiss.
“Why? Can I not have a hot lovemaking with my fiancee now?” Lexus asked as if hurt.
“Nope, mister. You have to wait this time until we get married, to add excitement, alright. Anyway, our wedding will be soonest already?” she said grinning at him.
