Daffodil turned her back and faced the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack. Anger overshadowed her whole being. She wanted to kill the Alpha but she knows that attacking him will not do good for her.
“Be afraid Alpha Herboo for triggering the wrath of this Golden She-Wolf!” With eyes full of hatred, Daffodil opened her hands and pushed it hard as if pushing a big rock in front of her and imagined seeing it roll over the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack. Caught off guard, Alpha Herboo was not able to move when a strong force hit him and threw him away, to the shock of his warriors around.
Even Daffodil was surprised by what happened. Her mind suddenly lighted up. She unintentionally unlocked her hidden powers because of her anger. Now, she knows how to use it already. She just needs to imagine whatever she wanted to happen, focus on it and never leave her mind out of it until what she wanted has been finished.
“You? All of you! Are you not afraid of me now?! Would you want to be ashes now or do you just want to run and never come back here in your pack?!” Daffodil faced the warriors of the Black Forest Pack and threatened them by raising her hand and letting them understand that she was not joking.
All the warriors looked at each other with fears in their eyes and in a split of seconds, the Beta and all the warriors of the Black Forest pack started to run away from their village.
Alpha Herboo saw everything and decided to fake first his death so that he could still spare his life from the wrath of the Golden She-wolf.
Seeing that there was no standing enemy anymore in front of her; Daffodil immediately imagined releasing Lexus from the tree and gently swaying his body down in her arms.
“Lexus, my love, wake up,” Holding him now, Daffodil’s tears fell down on Lexus’ face that suddenly awakened the Beta. He opened his eyes and was so surprised to see Daffodil holding him and crying.
“Daff, Sweetheart, what happened? Why are you crying? I am still alive, see,” he said furrowing.
Daffodil laughed hearing him said those words. She knew that Lexus is back to his normal self now.
“Silly, you almost lost your life, that’s why I am like this,” she said in between laughs and sobs.
“Did I? No, I will not die Daff, because I will not allow any Alpha to claim you as their mate or mistress,” Lexus said as he gently holds Daffodil’s neck and pulled her closer to his face. He unceremoniously kissed her. Moon Goddess knows, how much he missed her and feared for her life.
That was the moment that the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack was waiting. He stood up, got the dagger in its holster beside his right hip, and sprinted towards Daffodil and Lexus. His target was Lexus.

But Lexus felt the sudden rushed of wind and heard the sprinting footsteps of someone at his back. He suddenly wrapped his arms tightly around Daffodil and rolled over before Alpha Herboo reached his back with the dagger in his hand when he stabbed him.
Alpha Herboo’s anger towards Lexus ignited when he missed killing him. With anger clearly showing in his eyes, he growled so loud and attacked Lexus once again.
Lexus quickly pushed Daffodil away from him and before Alpha Herboo could land another blow into him, he kicked him while his back was still on the ground, rolled over, and stood up.
“You son of a gun Beta! You had the guts to mark and mate my golden she-wolf!” Alpha Herboo shouted before attacking Lexus again.
Daffodil was shocked while looking at Lexus and Alpha Herboo fighting with each other. She was not able to immediately react.
“Fool! She is my mate and will never be yours!” Lexus retorted while smirking towards the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack, which ignited more the fire of anger inside Alpha Herboo.
“That’s what you think, idiot Beta!” Alpha Herboo shouted in total anger and attacked Lexus again with his dagger.
Seeing that Lexus is in a disadvantageous position because Alpha Herboo has a dagger in his hand, Daffodil simply looked at the dagger and imagined it getting out of the Alpha’s hand and flying slowly towards her hand.
Lexus was so stunned seeing what happened that he did not see the coming of the flying kick of Alpha Herboo that hit his jaw. He fell on the ground and before he could recover, Alpha Herbo was on his top, pinning him and giving him hard and speedy punches.
“Stop!” Daffodil shouted as she showed to Alpha Herboo the dagger in her right hand, pointed at him.
Alpha Herboo suddenly stopped and looked at Daffodil with fear in his eyes.
“One wrong move Alpha Herboo, this silver dagger, will speedily hit your heart! Moved your ass away from my mate and run without looking back! Once I see you looked back, this dagger will chase you to your death!” Daffodil shouted, threatening the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack.
Alpha Herboo was stunned, confused on whether to follow Daffodil in shame or continue his fight with Lexus like a true brave Alpha.
Lexus took advantage of that moment and gave Alpha Herboo a strong punch on his neck then rolled over pinning the Alpha on the ground, who suddenly became defenseless.
Lexus did not give the Alpha a chance to fight back when he gave him successive, speedy, hard blows on his face and neck, crashing the bones on every part where his fist landed.
