“So, Drew what’s up? Have you not heard what I said?” Alpha Daedos called on the attention of his son, who seemed to have not moved at all while sitting on the bench.
“Yah Father, anyone who wanted to fight with me?” Drew stood up and challenged all the warriors around. He wished however that no one would try to have the guts to fight with him.
It seemed however Drew’s prayer to the Moon Goddess had been put to her deaf ears.
Four of the strong warriors of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack stood up ready to face their soon-to-be Alpha.
Drew spewed some air and gathered all his strengths, trying to visualize in his mind that he was able to defeat the four warriors.
The four warriors together with Drew readied themselves for their fight as they make their fighting pose. Drew has been encircled by the other four warriors. When one of the warriors attacked Drew he was able to swiftly counter-attacked him by blocking the warrior’s leg with his hand and then giving him a frontal kick. However, when the three remaining warriors, simultaneously attacked him, Drew can be seen falling and rolling into the ground afterward.
Full of shame Drew stood up and turned his back. He left the training field without any word and with a dark expression on his face.
Alpha Daedos was disappointed. How will his son be a strong Alpha if he cannot be able to defeat even just three opponents? he thought. Just seven weeks more and it will be Drew’s birthday, yet he cannot find his mate whom he believed as the missing golden she-wolf. He cannot appoint him as the new Alpha then without him finding his mate, who will give him that unbeatable strength. Without that golden she-wolf, his son will be nothing but a weak Alpha.
Lexus and the other warriors looked at each other when Drew suddenly walked out from them. They could not actually fathom why Drew was not able to inherit the strength of his Alpha Father. Alpha Daedos is a very strong Alpha, feared by Alphas of other packs. How come that his son never got his abilities?

The search for the missing golden she-wolf never stops. It is not only Lexus now who was tasked to do it by their Alpha but also his son Drew, who needs to find her before his twenty-second birthday because that would be the time that his Alpha Father will be appointing him as the new Alpha of their Pack.
“Lexus, you gotta be serious in finding the missing golden she-wolf. It was your main task but you have not fulfilled anything yet,” Drew was trying to humiliate Lexus in front of his father, some council of elders, and head warriors.
Trying not to be pissed off with Drew’s statement, Lexus made a deep breath and tried to relax his reflexes. “You are right Drew and I am glad that the Alpha also assigned you to help me find your mate. I just hope that you can find her first because as we all know, as her mate, it will be you, who supposedly has the strongest connection with her. Use that mate pull, the scent, and that erratic heartbeat of yours in finding her soon.” He simply stated but it actually hit the ego of Drew.
Drew cursed Lexus in his mind. He also made him feel like an idiot.
On one hand, the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack was also in a strong search for the last breed of the Golden Wolves. His men were being scattered in every corner of the land to find her. He does not care even if his Luna has been rejecting his idea so much. He does not care at all. His current Luna is not strong enough to remain in her seat.
“Once I found the last she-wolf of the golden breed, I will not take her as a mistress that long; I will elevate her to the Luna position and you, my dear will return to your own pack. You cannot even give me an heir!” Enraged, Alpha Herboo of the Black Forest Pack, marched heavily away from his Luna, who looked at his back with raging hormones.
Few days passed but still Drew has no news either signs that his mate, the last breed of the golden wolves are just nearby. Until this afternoon, which Drew thought to be his lucky day.
He was at the dining area of their packhouse when Trixie came in. Drew snipped her scent like full-bloom roses. He could not understand it but he always smelt her like that. He shook his head as he felt nausea hitting his head.
“Drew, hello.” Trixie sheepishly greeted him. She finds Drew very aloof and arrogant. Well, what’s so surprising about that? He is the next in line Alpha of their pack. Like Lexus, Drew also possesses that attraction that no woman could deny. Trixie could feel that attraction and the fragrance that his body emits, but bearing in mind that she is the Alpha’s son, she tried to never even acknowledge it. She is just a Gamma’s daughter, not even a Delta, besides, it was Lexus whom she likes since she was ten years old.
Drew just nodded to Trixie then afterward asked. “How are the guests in your beach resort? Did you ever noticed someone who checked in there who might be akin to the missing golden she-wolf?”
Trixie was suddenly surprised by his question. She knew that he wanted the last she-wolf of the golden breed but she did not know that he never knew that Lexus most probably found her already.
“Didn’t Lexus tell you that I suspected a guest a month ago, who might be the possible missing golden she-wolf?” She retorted with a hint of surprise.
Creases on Drew’s forehead suddenly appeared as he heard what Trixie have just said. “What do you mean?”
“I saw a guest with golden eyes as young as that missing golden she-wolf. I told Lexus about it and as far as I know, they even met.” Trixie said, getting more confused as to why Lexus never told Drew about it.
“What is her name? That woman with golden eyes?” Drew asked again, eyes narrowed.
“Daffodil, Daffodil Marby.”
