Daffodil was not able to answer Dixon quickly. She was suddenly faced with such dilemma if she would tell Dixon about Lexus or not.
In the end, Daffodil decided to keep things about her and Lexus, within herself only. She is not ready yet to divulge her true identity to anyone.
“I just met him in Sydney. I was sitting alone in the restaurant and then he approached me asking if he could join me at the table,” she answered shortly.
Dixon just simply looked at her and nodded. He did not ask further about the man from Sydney instead he tried to focus on his driving. There is no need to let Daffodil knew that he did not buy her alibi about the man. Dixon has another picture of Daffodil and the man from Sydney, walking hand and hand when they went outside of the restaurant.
Although Dixon knew very well that he has no right in any way to be jealous yet he cannot control himself. At the onset that he met Daffodil in one of the parties where he was with his father and she was with her father too; she instantly bewitched him with her charm and beauty; her golden eye glowed penetrating not only his mind but his heart.
From then on, Dixon tried everything to be near Daffodil. Good thing, his father and Daffodil’s father are long-time friends and he used that to befriend her.
“Whoever this man is from Sydney, he cannot just have Daffodil without passing through my grave,” Dixon thought with narrowed eyes.
When they arrived at the seafood restaurant chosen by Daffodil; Dixon as usual assisted Daffodil out of the car like he used to be. He treats Daffodil like her Queen. He wanted her to feel that no man like him would be best for her.
Daffodil has been silent even when they were already eating. Dixon tried to change the atmosphere between them.
“Daff, how about let us go on a trip? Let us say an Island vacation? What do you think about it?” Smilingly Dixon suggested without realizing that his suggestion triggered more Daffodil’s longing in her heart.
Daffodil shook her head. “No, I have a lot of work to finish Dixon. Remember, I just came from a vacation.”
Dixon sighed, “Yah, sorry I suddenly forgot,” he replied while giving her a peace sign and a wide grin.
Daffodil suddenly smiled. “Thanks, Dixon for always wanting to make me happy. I am fine okay.”
Dixon nodded. “Alright Daff; we can stroll around anytime and anywhere if you wanted to. Just let me know, I can always be that someone besides you.”

At night Daffodil was in trouble as she could not sleep, as if someone is calling her, a voice kept on ringing in her ears.
“Who the hell are you and why are you disturbing my peace?” Daffodil asked the voice with an irritated voice.
“I am Arcel, your wolf Daffodil. Please hear me out.” The voice echoed in Daffodil's mind and filled her ears.
Daffodil suddenly sat up with eyes widening like they are about to pop out from their sockets out of so much astonishment.
“Arcel?”
“Yes, I am Arcel. I need to get out; you need to see me. You are me Daffodil; I am within you, your wolf.”
Daffodil could not believe what she heard from that echoing voice in her mind.
“How, I mean how can you come out from me?” Daffodil asked plastered.
“Concentrate Daffodil and think that your body is shifting into a beautiful golden wolf. The actual shifting may hurt you at first; you can even feel your bones breaking but I can assure you, after this shift, we will be much closer and everything will be pure bliss,” the voice of Arcel echoed again.
Daffodil’s amazement was heightened and she suddenly remembered Lexus. If only Lexus is here, she will not feel this craziness because he will be there to explain to her everything and to assists her.
“Daffodil, as much as you long for our mate Lexus; I too felt that because we are one,” Arcel said again.
“Why only now that you all telling me this Arcel?” Confused Daffodil asked.
“I tried to connect with you a long time ago, but you hindered me from reaching out to your mind. You never opened to me Daffodil.” Arcel’s voice became so gloomy.
“I’m sorry Arcel, I did not know.”
“It is time Daffodil to discover your true self and all the powers within you. I am here to help you.” Arcel said again.
Upon hearing Arcel’s words, Daffodil’s heart has been filled with excitement. This is what Lexus had told her.
“Help me Arcel; I will entrust my life to you,” Daffodil whispered.
“Gladly Daffodil. Now concentrate, it is time for you to meet me.” Arcel whispered back.
