Trixie’s heart is beating fast. Her mind is surmising something and she needs to inform their Alpha. Lexus is for her; ‘though he cannot feel it yet, but she is sure about it because she can feel it. She loved him; so, no way that another woman would just snatch him away from her just like that, especially if he had just met that woman just a few days ago.
After a few minutes of driving on her electronic bike, Trixie reached the packhouse of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack. She immediately alighted from her e-bike and ran inside looking for the Alpha. Her father is a Gamma and well respected in their pack, since he was considered one of the wisest men in the pack and, most of all, his father is close to the Alpha.
Suddenly, Trixie remembered his Gamma Father. “Oh yes right! I need to tell things to my father so that he will be the one to relay it to the Alpha,” she muttered. So, she went to their house instead and looked for her father.
She was bubbling while narrating to her father her story about the possibility that Lexus had already found the missing golden she-wolf.
“Are you sure about that Trixie?” asked his Gamma Father. Creases appeared on his forehead.
“I am, father; I saw the golden she-wolf with my own two eyes. I told Lexus about it, then suddenly, the next day, the woman checked out of our resort and Lexus is nowhere to be found now. They might be together now.” Trixie replied, frowning.
Trixie’s father thought for a while, then stood up. “Come with me Trixie; we need to tell the Alpha about that before it is too late to act.”
Trixie became hyper. This is what she wanted; to let their Alpha know that Lexus might have found the missing golden she-wolf and he ran away with her.
Alpha Daedos listened as their Gamma narrated the story told to him by his daughter, Trixie. He did not butt in either comment. He was there intently listening.
After Gamma Rador finished relaying his information, Alpha Daedos became silent with deep thoughts overwhelming his mind. He knows Beta Lexus as a principled and good man, aside from the fact that Lexus and his family have been loyal to him as their Alpha.
“Let me do some investigations first before I conclude or judge our Beta, Gamma Rador,” Alpha Daedos afterward said with a placid tone. He is a fair Alpha. He will not judge someone, especially his Beta, by merely listening or looking into one side of a coin.
Gamma Rador nodded but Trixie was quite disappointed. She was disappointed that it might take long before Lexus and the Golden She-wolf would be caught and she could not imagine what Lexus and that woman might be doing.
“We will go now, Alpha. Thank you for taking the time to listen. We will respect your decision. Beta Lexus is a good Beta; I just hope he did not run away with the missing golden she-wolf,” Gamma Rador replied to Alpha Daedos. He motioned to his daughter, sitting beside him, that they needed to go.
“You are right, Gamma Rador. Beta Lexus is better than that unless he has a very deep reason for doing so. I need to know those things and consider them before I decide.” These are the final words of the kind Alpha of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack.

Inside their hotel suite in Sydney, Australia, Lexus is checking everything. He checks every corner, the lampshade, the comfort room, the ceiling fan, and others, looking for hidden cameras. To Daffodil’s surprise, Lexus finds three hidden cameras; one in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in the shower room.
“Gosh, so it means, if you have not found those hidden cameras, even when we are taking a bath, most probably someone is watching us?” she asked with annoyance.
Lexus nodded. “Yes, so you better be careful next time.”
Daffodil could not understand why some establishments would sometimes be so gross to invade their customers’ privacy, considering that these customers even paid them hefty money for just a one-night stay.
Daffodil sighed and looked at Lexus with admiration. “He is such a man hmmm,” she thought.
Suddenly, Lexus’ mobile phone beeped. He checked his mobile phone and then Daffodil saw the immediate change in his expression.
“Something wrong?” She eyed him inquisitively.
He shook his head without looking at her.“Nothing too serious Daffodil; it was just a message from our Alpha.”
“Alpha?”
“Yes. Our Alpha, the head or leader of our wolf pack,” Lexus explained while giving her a forced smile.
“I see.” Daffodil nodded. She is starting to understand things about werewolves.
“You know what, Daffodil, your father was once an Alpha too, and your mother a Luna,” Lexus said as he suddenly remembered it. He looked at her with a smile on his face.
Daffodil’s heart ignited with a longing that she could not understand when she heard about her Alpha and Luna parents. “It is sad that I did not even see them,” she said in a low voice.
Lexus sat beside her on the long sofa. “Yes, it might be disheartening. I lost my mother when I was just small, maybe around three years old according to my father. I can not vividly remember her face now.”
“Oh; sorry to hear that Lexus.”
Lexus just shrugged his shoulders and put his right arm around her shoulders. “You know what, you are so lucky because, at that time when your parents were haunted and killed by the Black Forest Wolves, your adoptive parents were there to save you.”
Daffodil looked down, “I cannot process yet in my mind all those things that you have told me, Lexus. All along what I knew was that I was a very blessed sole heir of one of the billionaire businessmen in Los Angeles.”
