I woke up to an empty bed which for once I’m happy about I needed time to get my bearings and to yet again process what Alejandro said to me last night. I laid in bed wondering how my life would have been if my father gave me to Alejandro and a tear slipped down my face. I wiped the tear away viciously and sat up in bed talking to myself “There is no need to wonder how your life would have been. It’s done it’s over with. You have to live the life you’ve got and for now I need to get ready to face my family’s killer and the person that is responsible for everything I’ve gone through in my life. It doesn’t help me sitting here crying over spilled milk.” I should rather use my energy and focus on Marchetti and how I’m going to handle that situation that is what is important now. My father did what he did and that is it.
I got up and went to the bathroom, brushed teeth and got in a warm shower, I need to wash last night off me and concentrate on today and what I’m going to do from here on out. How I’m going to work hard to take over from Marchetti, even if I have to shoot the fucker myself, I will be the Mafia Princess and I will sit on his throne. I was talking to myself hyping myself up when I heard Enzo’s voice “Morning angel.” “Morning Enzo.” I shut the water off and got out of the shower, wrapping a nice soft fluffy towel around me. I walked towards him and gave him a kiss on the lips, just a soft quick kiss. “You look handsome today.” I said with a smile on my face. “And you look …….” He stop looked at me and said “At ease.” “I am, I decided it doesn’t help I’m stuck on the what ifs? I need to put all my energy on how I’m going to take the throne from Marchetti. That way I’ll get my revenge.” “You sure you can just forget about the past?” “I really don’t have a choice Enzo I can’t be stuck there. What happened happened, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it now, all I can do know is concentrate on my future.”
He put his hand in the towel that was wrapped around me and pulled me to him. Planting his lips against mine and kissed me, he made sure he kissed me devoured me before he pulled away from me. “I’m proud of you angel.” “Thank you, Enzo, will you perhaps just give the others the head lines of why I was upset I really don’t want to talk about it anymore, I’m going to concentrate on my future now, not the past.” “If that is what you want then yes off course I’ll tell them.” “Thank you, Enzo. How much time do I have before we have to leave?” “You have an hour.” “Great that is more than enough time to get ready.” “Well then, I’ll go and call the others and tell them. So that they don’t bother you with questions later.” “Thank you, Enzo.” “Anything for you angel.” He kissed me on the forehead and left me to get ready.

As I walked to my office, I realized how proud I am of Cat, she worked through her disappointment and issues with her father without me. She wants to work on her future and that is the best news we could asked for. We didn’t have to push her to come to that conclusion she came to it by herself which is going to make her training so much easier and I’m not talking about her BDSM training everything else we have planned for her.
I walked into my office and called the others, Frank was on the conference call first “Enzo, how is things going there this morning?” “Let’s wait for the others, okay?” “That bad?” Frank asked sympathetically. “No nothing like that.” I saw John got on the line then Nico. “Morning guys, I just want to inform you of what happened last night and this morning.” “Why can’t Cat tell us.” Nico asked. “Because she wanted me to tell you.” “Oh.” John said. “The thing is guys she took it very hard that Capone put her in foster care and not with Alejandro, she feels he took a normal childhood from her, even a happy one. She cried a lot and she felt like her father didn’t love her, this morning however she decided to stop thinking about the past and work on her future, how she is going to kick Marchetti of his throne. She doesn’t want to live in the past anymore, I think that is why she wanted me to tell you guys how she felt, she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore.” “You do know it will come back to haunt her again sometime, right?” Nico asked. “Yes, but let her be and let her make her own decisions when it comes to how she deals with it, the only thing we can do is be there for her that is it.” “Okay it will be easier to train her if she doesn’t think about the past the whole time.” John said. “Yes, John but the past is what is going to make her an awesome Mafia Princess.” Nico said again. “She won’t be able to hide from her past forever.” “Nico, I don’t think that is what she’s doing, she decided what from her past she is going to use to survive her future. She just doesn’t want to think about it so much anymore or talk about how her father abandoned her.” “I get it and I’ll respect her decision.” Frank said “Thank you Frank.” “And you John, Nico.” “Off course we will respect what she wants Enzo.” “Great thank you guys then just a last thing, with who is she staying next week?” Nico was the first to say “Off course me she was suppose to stay with me the first week.” “Okay just making sure things haven’t changed yet.” “If I can just say one thing.” John asked “Yes John we are listening.” “We all haven’t played with her yet in the playroom, wasn’t that suppose to happen before she goes to someone else?” “Yes, off course I was thinking about tomorrow night, them she will stay with me one extra day for me to get her through her sub drop before she goes to Nico. What do you think?” “I’m in.” All of them said. “Well then see you in the next 30 minutes.”
