I enjoyed your company...

"I need to take a nap!" I announced to Greg and Lilian.

They both raised their brows. "you? When was the last time you even took a nap? What suddenly changed?" Greg asked me.

I made a tired noise then stretched a little bit. "I don't know. I have just been unusually tired for a while now." I said to him.

Lilian raised her brows. "this is unusual but any chance is good. At least you were not working yourself to sleep."

I chuckled lightly before making my way upstairs.

Immediately I got uto my room. I entered inside with my hands clasped together. "I am sooo sorry!" I apologized.

He raised his brows then checked his wrist. "what took you so long?"

I took in a deep breath when I realized that he was not angry. Sitting on my bed, I told him, "they went to couple's therapy."

Luciano furrowed his brows, obviously as surprised as I was when I first found out. It sounded funny now that I thought about it.

Newly married couples usually go to couple's therapy. Why would Lilian and Greg even think if going?

"Interesting." Luciano commented on his usual cold and aloof tone.

I nodded my head. "they had an argument that went South recently so they cane to his decision that it was better to go to a couple's therapy after a friend recommended. I did not want to interfere so I let them do their thing. Only for then to come back angry and tired." I did not know why I was sharing it with him but for some reason, I felt it was safe to do so.

He had shared some personal things too even though they were not directly. I felt that I should also do the same.

Luciano smirked, obviously intrigued by the story. "so what happened that made them come back angry and tired?" He asked.

I sighed. "apparently, the therapist was asking them some very personal questions." I said to him.

He raised his brows, obviously thinking the same thing I was thinking. "isn't that the whole point of a couple's therapy? To solve the marital problems by getting a view of their personal lives?" He asked, a smile almost forming on his lips.

I touched my chest, happy that someone finally got the gist. "Like, is that not the point? I said the exact same to them but they were insistent that it was not what they expected. The iron that broke the camel's back was when they said he went as far as asking about their s*x life."

Luciano's face went from cold to confused and then a chuckle finally came out of him.

It was one of the very rare if not first times I had seen him laugh. If his stoic expression looked good on him, this one looked extremely better.

He looked absolutely gorgeous I did not even care that Lilian and Greg might here is voice. Thankfully, the door was locked.

I nodded my head, a smile breaking out on my lips too. "you get my point? That was exactly how I reacted downstairs. I don't even want to think about their s*x life but I can just imagine the looks on their faces when they were asked that question."

Luciano leaned back against the wall. "well, that must have been traumatizing for them."

I nodded my head. "I would not even go to couple's therapy if things went South in my relationship. If rather just work things out with my partner. If I found it to be so weird, I never imagined why my parents would want to try it out." I said to him.

"Why would you not like to go to couple's therapy?" He asked.

I gave him a blank look. "Why would I ever want to do that? It's really weird just thinking about it."

He looked intrigued ad he asked, "what if you and your partner ate in a very bad situation and dialogue is not working out? Would you not like to go to a couple's therapy?"

I shook my head immediately. "oh, nope! That is definitely not happening at all. That's one of the reasons I'd rather Marty a man that can engage in a peaceful dialogue with me."

He looked amused but he nodded his head.

I raised my brows, a frown etched on my face. "Would you go to a couple's therapy if you eventually have a partner?"

His answer was brief and precise. "no."

I scoffed. "why is that? You seemed surprised when I refused.

"That is because you seemed like the person that liked overreacting." He answered.

I furrowed my brows. "what does you assuming that I like overacting have to do with this?"

"Only people that overact would find it wise to go to a couple's therapy. It was either you two were broken up beyond repair or you were not. If things can not be fixed between two people, a stranger would not be any better." He told me.

I folded my hands. That actually made a lot if sense. "you sound like you have been in a serious relationship before." I told him.

He nodded his head. "I have been in relationships... But nothing that got too serious. I just have a good reply for everything."

I rolled my eyes. He had to have an ego for every single thing.

Er conversed about random things for a while before he got up from the mini couch. He checked his wrist watch them sighed. "I have to go." He said to me.

I knew he was a busy man and him staying here had to have taken a lot of phone calls and rescheduling of meetings. "Thank you for coming. Surprisingly, I enjoyed your company." I said I'm a flirtatious sound.

He stared into my eyes, his expression was still blank but his eyes had a spark. "yeah?" I nodded. "Don't forget, tomorrow, come earlier than usual."
