Chapter 53 The Fact
Upon arriving home, Julia immediately opened her laptop and re-examined everything that had happened there to confirm her suspicions were true. The woman would never let any criminal escape this matter and was certain to take over all the problems that had occurred if it was proven that Mr. Adam was one of the perpetrators of the murder of her husband's parents. This was not done because she wanted to offend her husband's status as a mafia member, but of course this became a criminal case that had been delayed and would become a solved criminal case, especially since the victim of this criminal case was a very famous businessman in his time and of course this became one of the public's concerns that would certainly be very strong. If in the past this family couple did not have any legal support, but now the world is different. The role of digital technology is truly very helpful for the whole world to provide support and to the public to continue to pressure the government and also the police to find out what really happened and then re-open and lock directly about the facts that occurred in the murder case. And Julia would never stop until she caught Mr. Adam and everyone involved in this case.
Until finally, the woman saw something odd when the gloves came off. Of course, some of the videos were taken in a truly amateurish manner, because standing too long behind the man or even too close to confirm what was happening would certainly raise prejudice and even deep suspicion. And Julia understood that in this case, she really had to be thorough and had to conclude everything in the video clearly and realistically because of course, this was one of the problems that could be said to be very numerous and also factual. The woman then tried to zoom in on some parts because of course the two hands were not very clearly visible because they were covered by Mr. Adam's back and head. Until then, the woman slowly started to replay the video and her eyes began to catch something strange, right, the man turned on the water tap using his left hand, even the man opened the glove on his right hand first which proved that it was his left hand that opened it, then the man's ring finger was really not intact, namely one ring finger was missing.
Which meant that the man was most likely the mastermind behind her husband's parents' deaths. Julia's face was incredibly tense. If Kay were with her, he would certainly do anything to exact revenge, as he was incredibly angry with her. However, Julia had to tell her husband what she saw and show it to him.
Before she could contact her husband, her best friend suddenly called in the middle of the night, leaving her utterly confused. Was there a problem? It would certainly be incredibly strange for Rebecca to contact Julia at this time of night.
"What's wrong? Why are you calling me so late at night? Is there a problem?"
"Don't you know the mafia is on the move again? I've heard that this is a truly terrifying situation, as the mafia has injured a businessman due to their illegal pistol trade."
Hearing this certainly made Julia incredibly nervous, not because the mafia's actions had caused her to become a grandfather. However, there were reports that someone was injured by this movement. However, someone was injured because of her husband's actions, even though Julia had repeatedly emphasized to him that if something might happen, he should try not to hurt anyone. The woman's expression immediately turned pale, she quickly hung up the phone from her friend and then rushed to call her husband again. She knew it was unlikely her husband would pick up his phone, because according to him, he never took the number he used privately with him anywhere. It was a special number for him, his wife, and also for a few people he considered close and trustworthy. And of course, because he didn't want anyone to track him, he did various things using his phone, even using several different numbers in one move. Finally, after trying for two hours, the call was answered, and a sense of relief began to creep into her heart. "Where are you? Why did it take you so long to answer my call, Mom?"
Kay immediately moved his ear away from the phone, then brought it back up after his wife finished speaking. He knew this was quite a pleasant experience, as there were many things that would upset his wife, and he spoke in a high-pitched voice. Every woman in the world was incredibly chatty, including his wife, and he hated such chatty people the most.
"I just got home and am on my way. I'll be home in about an hour and a half. If you're sleepy, don't wait around; get some rest. Of course, I didn't bring any souvenirs, as I'm not on official business, where there are places I could have visited to give you gifts."
Hearing this, of course, made Julia even more irritated. She had no idea her husband was thinking she might want a gift or something. Julia held Apas tightly, then tried to neutralize the emotions surging within her, and she tried to focus. "I don't care about gifts, and I'm not interested either. I can buy them myself if I want. The problem now is, I hope you come home soon because there are so many things I want to tell you and ask you. Besides, you've broken one of the promises I made to you, and you can act like you didn't do anything. Don't expect to sleep soundly when you get home, even if you're tired. I'll never let you truly feel alive after this."
"Are you going to give me a gift? I don't mind if I don't sleep all night."
Hearing her husband's teasing certainly made Julia even more annoyed. She immediately closed her phone and slammed it on the sofa. After editing some important video clips, she put them into her phone and some memory cards, and then carefully stored them. Julia was absolutely certain that her husband would be delighted to see what happened. A fact no one could deny, and I was even more certain that her husband would react after this.
