Chapter 39 Who Is He?
Kay tried to lower any self-esteem he might have, but he felt that what he had done was indeed quite excessive. Finally, he chose to remain silent for a while and focus on things that might have great value and extraordinary value. He had to learn to change his attitude and accept what had happened, as it couldn't be undone. It was pointless to continue denying his marriage to Julia, as they were indeed husband and wife. He had proposed to Julia, and it would be incredibly awkward if he acted coldly and made Julia feel reluctant.
Kay woke up in the morning and looked at his wife. He saw her sitting there, laughing, as if waiting for something, especially playing with her fingers on the table.
"What are you doing? Why do you just need me there without doing anything? Are you perhaps thinking about your boyfriend?"
"Does it have anything to do with you?"
Hearing this certainly made Kay feel guilty, but she remembered that the source of this annoyance was her own. “I’m sorry, it seems like the last few days I’ve been carried away by your attitude which is really so gentle and expecting something more, I’m not professional enough so I avoided you as if you were a really terrible flea. even though it’s so very clear that our relationship is a collaboration which is definitely very profitable, I’m also grateful for the data from several criminals that you’ve sent me, the data is really very useful for me and I’ve found several things that I consider important, even if I didn’t have you it would have taken me 10 years to get this data because I have to search one by one from all the criminals who I might consider to have some pretty serious things, but with you and your help I can do everything even in less than a month, it’s quite effective and quite shortens the time and I’m really very happy.”
Hearing that of course managed to make Julia smile wryly, because her husband was only nice when he used her but when Julia was allowed to expect something, her husband was really annoying, as if there were several things that made her husband distance himself as if he didn't want to be loved at all, even though it was very clear that even if her husband didn't love Julia, the woman knew herself enough not to force it because feelings couldn't be forced and Julia knew that very well. "Actually, it doesn't really matter whether you or them matter. Even if you have the support of one of them, if you try, at least I think you've helped the police enough to deal with the number of criminals. And I also don't want to worry about all your personal problems because we have different problems. And whether you go out with my boyfriend or not, it has nothing to do with you. Didn't you also tell me not to be emotional in this marriage? You've explained that many times, sis. I realize and understand now. I hope you also don't stop caring for each other and also trying to be pious. We're okay because when behind my ex-boyfriend's back, we're nothing, right? Besides, our lives aren't lives that are truly good for anyone, Robin must be busy with herself."
"Shouldn't you be going to the company tomorrow, Robin? But if you don't want to, I won't force you. I can do it myself after finishing some work at the company. I'm also going out today to look for someone, and I hope you won't have to look for me if I don't come home."
" Julia paused for a moment, deciding whether or not to participate. This was certainly a challenging decision. She wanted to know exactly which criminal her husband wanted to meet, as she also wanted to conduct a covert investigation. She wanted to be aware of all potential crimes, which was also necessary as part of her duties as an elite member of the police force.
"Can I come with you? Not doing anything all day has made me feel incredibly tired. I need to find some more evidence on you and your team, but it seems like even Mr. Michelle knows her mistake has caused me some trouble. Maybe I should take a picture of your feet in a few days and send it to Mr. Michelle so she can at least be happy."
Kay's eyebrows danced perfectly. It seemed like his wife was completely unqualified to be an elite member of the police force. How could she not be? In fact, she seemed to have no intention of working and seemed to be doing whatever she pleased. So how could a woman like this be the pride of the elite police force? The man could only restrain Apas perfectly, then he gave in to whatever his wife might do. "It's actually pretty crazy when the mafia and the police are in one place investigating something strange. However, I'll let you come along if you're bored at home, just to see how far you've come. Being able to sneak into my group should be one of the hallmarks of a pretty cool police officer, but after marrying you, I haven't seen any flaws in your coolness, and that's something that makes me incredibly curious. What makes you seem so cool to everyone when I don't think you're a truly cool woman?"
“because you only see all my flaws and you have no intention of trying to look deep inside so that you understand that on my side there is something cool that no one can ever deny, and I think your words are quite annoying, when you say there is not a single place for me that is cool enough and that makes me feel so very upset. Besides, my life these past few times has become short because of you, so I think I have been quite bored these past few days which has made my intelligence fade and you should thank me and also apologize to me because I have felt so very tired after marrying you.
