Trial
YRENE'S POV.
A few days had passed since I was in the council prisons, and everyday was hell for me.
The guards were nothing nice. They didn't waste the opportunity to throw harsh words at me all because I was a silver wolf. I was the only one they starved, and they laughed saying I was going to die soon, so why did I need food?
Every single day that passed, I asked to see the brothers, but I was told they didn't want to see me.
Were they mad at me, thinking I hid my identity from them on purpose? I myself had not known that I was a silver wolf.
Why wouldn't they talk to me? Were they embarrassed to have taken in a silver wolf? Were they having second thoughts on taking back their decision to mate with me?
Finally, the day of my long-awaited trial came, and I was dragged out in chains. Neither food nor water had made it to my mouth. When I was brought out, the people saw me, and screamed, hurling bad words at me, and calling me trash.
As they did, it felt like the world was collapsing on my head. I could barely see properly. They were wavering in threes, and twos one moment, and the next, they were blurred.
My eyes couldn't focus properly after being starved for so long.
I couldn't hear much, but the trial went on fast. I heard something about rogues, about the Alpha dying, about a fire, but by angry voices, I could tell they were all pinning it on me.
The judge tried so hard to get them to shut their mouths, and it wasn't until they were threatened to be thrown out, before silence finally reigned.
I wasn't even in the right mind to cry, or try to defend myself. I was barely holding myself up.
Finally, the judge was about to pronounce me guilty with a death sentence by hanging, and my spirit crumbled.
Just like that? How had it all happened so fast? How was I having a good life, and all of a sudden, I was being sentenced to death by hanging?
What about my mother?
Just then, the doors opened, and I saw Theo coming in.
My heart came alive, and tears filled my eyes. It was so hard to bring myself to see, or hear what the judge was saying, but I was so grateful for his presence that I kept a strong hold on myself.
Theo was going to save me. Yes, he wouldn't let me be hanged.
After him, came the triplets, and when our eyes met, I knew they had been worried to death. The guards had lied to me. The triplets had probably wanted to see me too, but weren't allowed.
They apologized for being late, and Theo turned to the jury, who looked pleased to see him.
"Alpha Theo. May I ask what brings you to this trial?" The judge asked, and Alpha Theo looked at me.
"I have come to this trial as proof-as living proof of silver wolves capable of being upright." He began, and the people began to murmur loudly.
"Silence!" The judge snapped, hitting his gavel hard, trying to restore order.
What was Theo saying?
Right in front of me, a silver knife was brought, and Theo sliced his arm deeply. The people wanted with bated breath, and so did I, because silver disabled healing abilities.
But right in front of our eyes, Theo began to heal. Theo was a silver wolf!
Everyone murmured, but could not bring a word against Theo. They all knew Theo as a good, and just Alpha. Theo was powerful, and influential, but never stopped helping people, and him alone was solid proof that not all silver wolves were as bad as they were painted out to be.
The council went for a little break, and when we all returned for the final judgement, they had decided to let me go for Theo's sake.
If Theo could be a silver wolf, and be as good as that, then I deserved a chance to prove myself. That was their final verdict, and as I was freed from the chains, I wanted to take a step towards him, but fell to the ground instead.

EILEEN'S POV.
"This is your fault! This is all your fault!" My father shouted at me, throwing the remote controller to the floor when I came down from the stairs.
Yrene had been freed. She had been given a chance to prove herself all because Alpha Theo had stepped in.
Alpha Theo was a silver wolf? How had I not known? Well, it wasn't like I had taken a special interest in him, but still…
"Damn it." I muttered underneath my breath, and wanted to turn away, but my father let out a loud scoff.
"And where are you going? How are you going to fix this?" He asked, walking towards me.
"I'm going to fix this on my own. Don't bother me. First, I need to calm down." I said, moving towards the dining table, and picking up a knife.
I threw open the fridge, and took out a cold apple.
"I need to breathe." I said, peeling the apple rapidly.
"You wench! All you do is disrespect me."
"Wench?" I asked, looking up at my father. "What did you just call me?" I asked, going towards him.
"What are you going to do about it when the investigations about the fire starts? What do we do!? You started all this! It is your fault! I don't know what you so much desire in the triplets that makes you unable to leave them alone!
"You covet too much! You pushed me too far. You just never want to accept defeat, but you know what? You have been defeated. You are nothing but a stupid little bitch, who demands everything from her father, but doesn't know how to respect him!"
"Shut up!" I bellowed, unable to continue hearing his insulting words.
"What!? I am your father! I will disown…" he was saying when I suddenly raised my hand and sunk the knife deep into his heart.
"Shut it! Shut it!! Damn you!" I shrieked, taking out the knife.
His mouth fell open, and his hand went to the wound, but I stabbed him again.
"I never lose! I never lose!! I never lose!!!" I screamed, and even as he went down, I went down with him, stabbing him as hard as I could, with tears of anger running down my face.
And before I could regain control of myself…
I had killed him.
