Chapter 70 A New Gift
Caden's POV
We only have a couple hours left until Trixie's party and celebration. She's still out like a light.
I guess that took a lot out of her.
Coban and I want to make sure she has something to snack on and a drink when she wakes up so we're walking to the kitchen in our quarters to get her something.
As we come up to the door I put my finger to my lips and hold my hand out.
Inside I see two omegas making tea.
"Olga are you sure we put that much in there?" She says. "That's the amount said. I'm just going by what she told us Jasmine."
"They are putting something in the tea." I say to Coban through mind-link.
"There's two omegas. Someone ordered them to do it."
"Who, What do you see. Your looking at the damn door for crying out loud." Coban asked confused.
"Short blonde. Blue shirt, black pants. A tall brunette. Short hair, pink shirt, black pants. Let's go over here and wait for them to come out." I say to my brother.
Coban and I went around the corner where we could easily see who comes out. A minute later, just as I said.
"How?" Coban asked. "Don't know." I say as I shrug my shoulders.
"It's our gift. Coban's is seeing what's going to happen, ours is seeing what happens behind closed doors." Drake says proudly.
"Drake said it's our gift. As you see the future, I see the present but what's behind closed doors or out of sight." I explain to my brother.
"Really, so you can go outside Trixie's room and watch her change." Coban says as he smirks. "Damn it I wanted that one!" He laughs.
"The question is where are they taking that tea and who's the lucky person." I say.
We let them get down the hall and then we follow up behind them.
"They are stopping, No Way, brother!" I say.
"Girls, can we help you with something?" I ask them.
"Oh sorry My Kings, I didn't know you two were there. We were told to bring you two some tea." She said as she smiled.
"Tea? Coban, could you go for some tea?" I ask my brother and grin.
"No, but Trixie might." He says and smirks.
Yeah, evidently he smells it too. But why? Why would someone want to put an aphrodisiac in our tea?
"My Kings. We were told to bring it for you two only. We could go get her some if you like." She says.
"Who told you to bring this?" I ask, knowing she won't answer.
"The future Queen of course." She said matter of factly.
My brother and I both look at eachother with raised brows.
"Damn Coban, she was mighty proud of that answer." I say through our link and grin.
"Let's wrap this up, Trixie needs Tea!" Coban laughs through our link.
"And who is this said future Queen that you speak of?" I ask her.
"Lydia, the lady waiting, that you two chose to be your Queen Sir." She said proudly.
"Dante, Lucian. We need you to grab a couple warriors and head to the hall by our room. Now!" I say to him in link.
"What's your names?" I ask them.
"I'm Olga and that is Jasmine."
"Olga, Jasmine. Have you been catching up with what's going on around you. We're supposed to be crowning our Queen this evening." I say to them.
"Yes, and Lydia is so excited. She can't wait." Olga said.
Are they dumb. What the hell.
"Olga, Jasmine. You both will be escorted out of here and taken to the dungeon for questioning and will be locked up. Attempting to poison the Kings. That's punishable by death. Do you understand. Also our Queen, which is already crowned, by the way, is in our bed resting. We have found our fated mate. Lydia will never be our queen." I scream as I motion for the guards to take them away.
"Find out what they know. And find Lydia and Sandi NOW!!!"
"Eugene, I need you up in my room asap please. I need a toxicity report done on a drink." I say then close the link.
Coban and I walk in our room with the tea in hand.
Eugene confirmed it was indeed an aphrodisiac. But why? Unless
"She wanted to drug us both. An heir." Coban said what I was thinking.
"Damn that bitch thought she could drug us, sleep with us and get pregnant thinking she would become queen. Fuck."
"Caden, Coban. Sweethearts. What has you two so angry." Trixie says as she walks in and sits on Coban's lap.
We told her what happened. About the tea and about My gift.
"Coban thought you would like some tea." I say throwing him under the bus.
"Only if you drink it with me babe." She said to Coban and smirked.
