Chapter 69 Not what expected
Dante's POV
Trimity and I have been hiding out here for the last few days. Boris has dropped us by some supplies and a hot meal a time or two. Mainly just cold sandwiches. I don't want to make a fire, that will definitely alert everyone that we're here.
Tonight is the coronation and the celebration. Trinity doesn't want Trixie to officially be the queen so Benjamin grants her wishes and their will be problems tonight. She will not be crowned. Over our dead bodies.
"I'm hungry." Trinity says quietly. "Here you go." I say as I reach her a sandwich.
"I'm tired of these. I just want something hot." She pouts.
"Eat this now, tonight I'm sure your king will feed you anything that you ask for." I tell her with a soft and gentle voice.
"Are we really getting out of here tonight. You mean I'll actually be free and get a real bed to sleep in." She asks. "Yes,so eat up, you will need your strength for tonight." I tell her.
"Hello Sir" I say as I answer my phone.
"How's my queen?" Benjamin asks.
"She's eating sir. She says she's tired of cold sandwiches and would like to have a hot meal." I say with a smirk.
"Let me talk to her. Hand her the phone."
"Trinity, The king wants to have a word with you." I tell her.
"Why, did I do something wrong?" She says as she bats her eyes.
"Hello, my king." She says shyly.
"Hello my queen. Damn it's nice to hear your voice. We only have a minute but I had to hear you. We're getting you out of there this evening. I will have a feast ready for you my queen." Benjamin says softly to her.
"Thank you my king." She says softly back. "Thank you for everything." She purrs.
"For you love, anything and everything. Now before I let you go, tell me you will be a good girl for me and listen to what Dante tells you to do." Benjamin says. "I'll be your good girl my king, I promise." She tells him and hands the phone back to me.
"Dante, thanks. Alright so here's what's going to happen." He says as he explains the plans and we discuss our next moves. We then end the call.
"He doesn't sound old. He actually sounds really good." Trinity says with a smile.
"What. Really. Who told you he was old?" I laugh. "Uh,uh I..." she stutters.
Oh Benjamin is going to love her. She's absolutely adorable.
"Sweetheart". I say. "Benjamin is just a little older than you. How old are you, about 18?" I ask her.
"Yes, I'm 18." She says.
"Well, my queen, Benjamin is a little older than you." I say as I notice her face drops slightly.
"but he's not old. By all means, sweetheart, he's only 28." I explain to her.
"Oh Wow, I thought about 85 or so. He's not what I expected." She said.
"What does he look like?" She asks excitedly.
"No, he's definitely younger than that." I laugh.
"Please tell me what he looks like." She pouts.
Yeah this girl is good. She already knows how to get her way.
"Alright sweetheart, he's very tall. 6ft 4 in. A very muscular build. Dark brown short hair and brown eyes. Does that sound alright to you?" I ask with a smirk. Many she-wolves love the way Benjamin looks. He definitely can get any she-wolf he wants.
She nods her head fast. "Uh huh, thank you. Is my king coming himself tonight?" She asks hopefully.
"He's supposed to. I suggested he didn't take that chance but he insisted." I say to her.
"Hey Dante". Boris comes through mind-link.
"Yes, Boris, is there something wrong?" I ask him.
"The Kings upped patrol and doubled the security in your area." He says frantically.
Damn, this definitely isn't good. Benjamin definitely won't like this.
"Are they just upping patrol everywhere do to the coronation and celebration or is it just this area?" I ask, hoping it's not the latter.
"I'm not sure what they know, but he specifically said Northern Border. Your area." Boris said.
Damn. "Thank you Boris. Is everything still going as planned there at the palace?" I ask.
"As far as I know of" he said and I ended our link.
"Is something wrong?" Trinity asks.
"Nothing for you to worry about." I tell her.
"My king". I say when he answers my call.
"Yes, did my queen miss me and wants to hear my voice." He teases.
"I wish that was the case sir. Although she sounds pretty interested in you. Boris just informed me they upped security at the Northern Border here. We're Northern Border sir." I say frantically.
"So plans change." He said nonchalantly.
"Here's what we do." He says and continues to let me know the updated plan. "Oh Dante, I will definitely be coming. I can't afford not to." He said matter of factly.
"Good news princess." I say to Trinity.
"It doesn't sound like it's good news Dante." She says and rolls her eyes.
"It is" I say "You wanted your king to get you personally, well you got what you wanted, he will be here in a little bit."
