Chapter 122 The meeting with the Alphas
Coban's POV
Were already waiting in my office for everyone to enter the meeting. We're only waiting on a few. Most of the Alphas have already joined our video conference.
Bella is sitting on my lap, where she always is, where she belongs. Her arms wrapped around my neck, her head resting on my chest.
"Coban." She says softly, her breath against my chest. "Yes love." I answer as I look down towards her. She lifts her head up and puts her lips to mine. Our kiss is gentle, soft. I nip at her bottom lip, asking for permission, it's granted as I slip my tongue into her mouth. I bring my hand to her cheek, holding firmly onto her. We deepen the kiss, both of us breathing hard.
"Uh hum" my brother clears his throat and nods towards the screen. Trixie's face turns red as she buries her head in my chest.
She's so damn adorable. I put my hand over the back of her head and gentle run my fingers through her hair.
"Really Coban?" Caden says as he rolls his eyes. "Jealous much." I say as I shrug my shoulders.
Chuckles come from the screen. I guess they were enjoying the show. I just hope they had popcorn. "But mate is so beautiful, it's not like we could help it." Conan purrs. "I know buddy, I know." I say back as the last couple of Alphas join our meeting.
Benjamin is here with us, Trinity on his lap as well. Kevan and Mark are also here with their mates.
"Good Afternoon Alphas, sorry about the show." I say as a grin came to the corner of my mouth.
"I want to start out by announcing that the Elders are taking Alpha Blake and Beta Darren into custody. When they find them, they will be brought here and put in the dungeon." I say as I unconsciously rub Trixie's head. I can feel her breath even out. She's falling asleep.
"They are bringing up many charges against them. They will be stripped of their positions effective immediately." I pause for a second. Letting everyone catch up.
"Caden and I have already filled that position as our ruling for Blake is tainted bloodline. You all know Benjamin. Also known as the Rogue king." I say as I motion to him.
There's talk and chatter. Nothing too bad. This is to be expected.
"I sent over an email earlier today that explains this situation. I'm guessing not all of you read it. So please, I'll give the ones that hasn't read it time to. Please do so now so you can follow what I'm saying. Please look over the proof provided as well." I say as I lift my coffee to my mouth.
Once I gave them time to catch up, I continue.
"So, as you all should of read, starting today, he is Alpha Benjamin of the Shadow pack. Elder Maggie and the rest of them are already there. They will be conducting his and Dante's ascension into their positions." I said as I felt Trixie shift slightly. I tighten my hold on her and rub slow, gentle circles on her back.
I told them about the five packs that's picking them off one by one and warned them to up security and to be ready at all times.
We discussed plans going forward, plans to take them out before they get to us.
After they were all filled in and caught up to date about everything going on we ended the video call.
"That went well." Caden says as he reached over to rub Trixie's back. "It did. I think there was quite a few good ideas thrown out there. They do move fast though. They are retaliating tonight. Three packs against one." I say as I shake my head.
"Which pack are they hitting tonight?" Kevan asks with one brow raised, waiting on one of us to answer.
"They said that they wanted to take the largest of the four out first. So that would be the Dark Fang Pack." I answer as I shift slightly, trying to adjust my girl in my arms.
"Brother, you know I'll gladly take her. You always hog her all to yourself." He pouts as he juts his bottom lip out, acting like he's sad.
"Really, asshole." I say as I shake my head at his behavior.
"Kevan, make sure our border patrols are doubled right now. Mark, I want the lycan army on call and ready to go at any time. They are our best." I say as I look down.
"Have the Elders been able to find Blake and Darren yet. Weren't they supposed to pick them up last night. Hell, the trial is tomorrow." Kevan says as he's typing on his laptop.
"They went to get them yesterday. They weren't there. They ran and their in hiding. We're not sure if they have any men with them or what's going on with them right now. The Elders are watching over the pack until Benjamin gets there later on this evening." I tell them all I know about that situation.
"Where do you think they went?" Caden asks from beside me.
"There is a cave not to far from his pack. I would bet you my left nut sack they are there." Benjamin chimes in.
"Really Benny. Your left nutsack. Why not your right one?" Trinity asks with one brow raised and a small smirk pulling at her mouth. "Because the right one kitten." He says as he kisses the tip of her nose. She giggles at the gesture. "Is where our pup is hiding." He finishes as he claims her lips.
