Chapter 120 Found a replacement
Caden's POV
"So, Elliott, do we know how he got into that room. Isn't it set up only allowing the three of us in and we need fingerprints to get in." I ask as my brows scrunch up in confusion.
"It is set up that way. I found out, when they hacked the security feed, they removed the fingerprint verification command and unlocked the door. They kept it unlocked. Since no one was in there because of lockdown we didn't catch on." He said with a sigh. Brandi, sensing he was upset, laid her hand on top of the one on her leg and threaded her fingers into his. A small smile appeared on his face. He looked down at her "thank you" he whispered.
"Did you check all the cameras and check in on the other guests as well." I asked with a raised brow. "Yeah. I put in extra security measures as well, hoping that will stop this from happening again." He said all in one breath.
Elliott and Brandi went over to the sofa on the other end of the room when his part was finished. He wanted to stay in the room incase he was needed.
"Alright. On to the next problem, shall we?" I say as I look around at everyone. Everyone nods there head, ready to continue.
"The elders, they are bringing charges up on Alpha Blake at this moment. There is charges on the other four as well." I say as I take a drink of the coffee my beautiful little mouse made for us.
"The trial isn't going to be all Alphas present as it usually is and we set it to a vote. The trial is, on all 5 of them, Kings decision. So Coban and I, have the heat on us. Especially from these 5. They will try to take us out before each trial date. I wish they were on the same day." I say with a sigh. If they were on the same day, we then wouldn't have to worry about them as much.
"Kevan, contact Elder Roy. We need them on the same day. It's a must." Coban says to him then motions for him to go on.
"Trixie, if she is right, and it definitely looks that way, they are going for the crown. We need all allied packs to us notified that they are getting picked off, or atleast an attempt will be made on their pack. They must be ready. Kevan, get on that as well. Let them know we can send some help if they need it but we won't be able to send many as were expecting the same." I said then looked over at Benjamin. "Tonight at dinner, your men will meet Trixie." I say and smirk as Coban is wearing the same facial expression.
"Trixie, she's able to tell one's intentions. She can read people. This is going to come in handy right now." I say as I look over at my brother and he's shaking his head.
"She won't be able to meet and talk to every one of them. Caden, she has just woke up. Hell, Leigha is even still resting." He ran his hand through his short hair and shook his head. I know he don't want Trixie hurt, neither do I but we need to know this. We need to know who we can trust.
"How bout I let you know the ones that could be playing the field for better opportunities. We get them knocked out first. Then she can rest before she talks to the ones I know for sure is loyal." Benjamin suggests. That's not a bad idea. That's exactly what we're doing then.
We finish up discussing that topic as we're all digging into the trays my beautiful little mouse made for us.
"We're going to have to think of a plan. We can't wait for them to attack us. We need to pick them off one by one. Were going to need to get with the other Alphas and see what they can do as well. This will greatly benefit them as well. I'll shoot them off some emails in just a bit." I was saying as Kevan interrupted me.
"Already done. We all have a meeting via phone call tomorrow at 1. I set it up as video conference, a couple has already replied. Then we all will be on the same page." Kevan says as you can tell he's highly proud of himself.
"Great job Kevan. Thats exactly why your our beta. Damn, proud of you man." I say with much pride.
"One more topic then I think we're done with this emergency shit today." I laugh as I continue. "We will have a couple packs that will be in need of an alpha. Since their charges on all 5 of the alphas are so strong and severe, the ruling is tainted bloodline. Meaning no one with their bloodline can or will take over. If I read it correctly, the elders and an army is going to the shadow pack and taking the beta and alpha, they both, if found, will be here by tomorrow for sure. That leaves their pack able to be overrun by just anyone. They will be leaving atleast one elder there in charge to keep order until I have a replacement." I say as I take a drink of my coffee.
I look around to everyone and my eyes stop at Benjamin. "Your of Alpha blood. You don't have a pack because of what our so-called father done to you and your pack. My brother and I would love to offer you the position of Alpha of the shadow pack. You can take all your men, they can join the pack. That way if any of that pack goes against you, you have an army already to be able to defend yourself and your pack." My eyes never left him the entire time I spoke. He has a single tear in his eye. His emotions I kno have to be through the roof right now. "Benjamin, will you do us the honor and lead the Shadow pack." I smile at him.
"Are you sure. This.... damn you guys." He said shaking his head. "I'd love the opportunity to. Thank you very much. Really. I do appreciate all you two have done. Thank you. I will proudly accept your offer."
