Part 43
Part 43
“Stay.” Dezrael’s voice was a mere whisper, but Kiran looked into her soulful eyes and he couldn’t resist.
She intertwined her fingers, her hands on the back of his neck. He kissed her again and pulled her on top of him. She had barely caught her breath before he pushed back inside her and he let her set the rhythm.
Kiran’s aura was almost suffocating, it was strong and commanding, much like he was, and she pushed her guilt down at finding it alluring down into the recesses of her soul. Feeling him pulse inside her, ignited her own addiction to control and overpower.
She was still on top of Kiran, who was no longer inside her, catching her breath, and willing her galloping heart to slow down. She opened her eyes with a start as she caught herself wistfully dreaming of doing this every night.
Kiran shifted and pulled her off him and she lay on her side, watching him as he sat upright with his back towards her. His Alpha tattoo loomed large on his back and she resisted the urge to trace her fingers over the ink.
“I’d kill for a cup of coffee, you?” She didn’t know why but she didn’t want Kiran to leave her yet.
“I’d love some coffee.” Kiran stood up and pulled his underwear on.
Dezi smiled and pulled his T-shirt over her head. She hummed quietly to herself as she walked to the small kitchenette and started making coffee. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, Kiran’s shirt smelled like power and sex, she didn’t mind the scent of either.
“Thanks.” Kiran’s hand touched her back and she visibly shivered.
They took their coffee back to the bedroom and Kiran made himself comfortable on her bed as she sat down at his feet and sipped from her cup. Kiran made a face and put the cup down on the bedside table.
“Regrets already?” She watched Kiran as he smiled slowly waiting for him to answer her.
“The only regret I have is letting you make the coffee.” Kiran’s eyes held her in place as they stared at each other.
“You’ll have to show me how you like it then.” Kiran laughed as she said those words, double meaning intended.
“Hmm, maybe I will.”
“I like your Alpha tattoo.” Kiran’s eyes snapped to hers at that comment and she wondered briefly if she had overstepped.
“You know what an Alpha tattoo is?” His voice held some amusement and she smiled before looking down.
“I’m Scandinavian, of course, I know about Alphas and packs.”
“Are you sure you’re not some kind of witch?” Her smile froze but she kept smiling as she looked into his eyes.
“Why would you think I’m a witch?”
Kiran started to laugh then and she felt something lift from her shoulders. “Because you’re way too beautiful for words and I can already feel myself falling.”
“I’ve been falling ever since I saw you on the beach.” Her voice had gone soft again and Kiran leaned forward and kissed her again, this time gently.
They lay side by side and soon Kiran’s T-shirt landed on the floor again and he was on his knees in front of her. She felt spent and sated and she wondered if she’d ever feel this way again.
Sean was a good man and they’d been married for a year, but sex had never been as adventurous as it was for her now. She closed her eyes tightly and let Kiran embrace her as both their hearts beat wildly.
At some point during the early morning hours, Dezi lay her head on Kiran’s chest as they talked, he asked questions about her degree, telling her about his own degree; they spoke about their lives and she realized she had fallen asleep when she felt Kiran get up from the bed.
Dezrael sighed softly as she felt Kiran stand up. She was exhausted and kept her eyes closed as she heard the zip of his jeans and then his soft footfalls as he walked across the wooden floors. She felt him loom over her and then his soft lips as he kissed her forehead.
Her eyelids fluttered open as she heard the door close and she sighed softly with a big smile on her face. She turned onto her other side and inhaled Kiran’s scent that clung to the pillow. She grabbed it and hugged it to her body before she sat up with wide eyes.
‘No, I can’t like him,’ she thought to herself and stood up from the bed.
In the shower, she scrubbed her body until her skin was red as she thought of Sean, faithfully waiting for her at home. Her body hurt in a good way. Kiran was a big man with big hands and he had firmly shown her that he was in control last night.
“Please, Freya, let my womb bear the fruit of last night, but keep my heart safe from him.”
Dezrael placed her crystals on the windowsill to draw power from the sun. She touched her lips absent mindedly and climbed back into bed. She needed to sleep and she spent the rest of the day under the covers, the pillow holding Kiran’s scent, tucked against her body.
Yesterday’s spell had taken a lot from her, it wasn’t as easy as she thought it would be, making him see only her. There was another woman blocking her. His feelings for her were so strong, she had to repeat the spell four times before it took effect. She had struggled to completely enchant him, and in the end, had to opt for a blinding love and lust spell.
She’d never confess the details of Kiran Sinclair’s effect on her to anyone and she briefly wondered what her life would be like with a man like him, to be in the presence of his powerful aura, and have him on top of her every night.
She got out of bed at 6 p.m. and showered again, washing her hair, and rubbing a rose scented lotion onto her body. She was a little surprised Kiran hadn’t shown up yet, and she hadn’t thought to exchange numbers with him the previous night, she’d been a little preoccupied.
