Chapter 54: Lycan Gregory Wants To Talk To You

Gabriella.

"Always be careful, Viktor!"

He smiled and gave me a nod.

"Don't worry about me, Gabriella. I'll be right back," he ensured.

I kissed him before he left. When the warrior informed us that Lycan Gregory was bringing down the Blue Lagoon Pack, the fifth largest pack here in the Kingdom, Viktor quickly prepared to go there.

The rest of the pack also found out about Lycan Gregory's attack there, except for Alpha Javier who was in the hospital.

When Viktor left, I returned to our room. I sat on the bed to wait for him. Even though Viktor assured me that he would come back, I couldn't help but worry.

What if Lycan Gregory has many warriors and Viktor can fight? Viktor brought many warriors there, but even so, I still felt scared.

From what I heard, Gregory is a cruel and strong Lycan. He managed to kill Jenny's father who is the Alpha of the strongest and biggest Pack here in the Kingdom!

I took a deep breath. I can't do anything now because Tala hasn't approached me yet. She hasn't spoken to me and I'm still gathering strength from my fight with Alpha Arman. If only I have strength, I would go with Viktor to help him.

While I was sitting on the bed, someone suddenly knocked on the door of my room. When it opened, a maid entered.

"Luna Gabriella, someone is looking at you outside the Palace," she informed me.

Is someone looking for me? At this time?

"I'm sure it's not Alpha Javier who's looking for me," I said.

The maid tilted her head, "No, Luna Gabriella. The one looking for you is another man," she replied.

"What's his name?"

"He didn't say, Luna Gabriella. What he said was that he wanted to talk to you."

I closed my eyes. If not Alpha Javier, which man is looking for me?

I stood up and walked out of my room. The maid who called me on the way to the palace door was behind.

The two warriors opened the door of the Palace. I frowned when I saw the person looking for me.

I observed the man, and I must say that he was a formal man. He was wearing a black tuxedo and black pants. He was wearing glasses, and it was obvious that he was a respectable man.

"May I know who you are?" I asked the man.

He bowed his head, "I am sorry if I bothered you, Miss Gabriella White," he apologized.

I raised my eyebrows. He knew me!

"I am Lukas, one of Lycan Gregory's men. I am here to invite you to his Palace," he politely answered me.

"One of Lycan Gregory's men?" I asked him in surprise.

"Yes, Miss White. Lycan Gregory would like to talk to you," he answered.

"Lycan Gregory visited this morning here at Silver Fang, and he didn't say anything to me. If he wanted to talk to me, I wish he would have told me earlier. We can talk here at the Palace if that's what he wants," I said.

"And one more thing, at this time Lycan Gregory will send a man to fetch me?"

"Lycan Gregory was busy all day, Miss White. He only had time to talk to you tonight," he reasoned.

I frowned, "Can't it be tomorrow? I would like to be with Viktor who is going to see Lycan Gregory," I suggested.

"I can't, Miss White. Lycan Gregory's order is to take you to him now," he replied.

"What if I don't want to come with you? Viktor isn't here right now, so I can't go out of the Palace!"

He looked at me seriously, "If you don't want to come, I can't do anything but force you, Miss White!" he answered me, there was a threat in his voice.

"Tell Lycan Gregory that I'll talk to him tomorrow!" I yelled.

I looked at the warriors, "Close the door!" I ordered.

After closing the door, I walked back to my room. I've never been so far away that I heard a strong backlash.

I slowly turned around. My eyes widened when I saw the palace door destroyed! Lukas entered as if nothing had happened.

The warriors on the side pointed spears at him, but he was not afraid. He kept walking towards where I was standing.

"Lycan Gregory wishes to speak with you, Miss White," he repeated.

"If you don't want to come, the whole Palace might be destroyed!" He added, there was a threat in his voice.

I looked at him. I knew he wasn't kidding and was determined to take me to Lycan Gregory.

"Tala."

I called Tala, but I heard no answer from her.

I closed my eyes. Tala used to tell me that even without her, my abilities will not disappear.

But the problem is, my body hasn't recovered yet!

I know Lukas was strong. But if I go with him, maybe what Lycan Gregory will do to me.

"What makes him want to talk to me?" I asked him.

"Lycan Gregory didn't say the reason, Miss White. His only command was to bring you to him," he answered.

"I need to know what the reason is. Just come back if you know," I said.

I turned my back on him. I was about to walk to my room when he grabbed my arm. It was tight and I knew his hand would mark my arm.

"Let go of me!" I ordered him with a threat in my voice.

"I am afraid to tell you that I can't do that, Miss White. I have to take you to Lycan Gregory!"

I closed my eyes and then I faced him. I looked at the Warriors behind him. I saw the fear on their faces.

I held his hand. I tried to remove his hand from my arm. I used all my strength, and finally, he let me go.

He just looked at me seriously. I know he was wondering how I managed to get his hand off. I am three times stronger and faster than ordinary werewolves. I know Lukas knows that so he looks at me strangely.

"If you persist in not coming with me, Miss White, I can do nothing but force you!" he said.

"I'm not going with you, Lukas!" I answered.

"Then I beg your sorry, Miss White!"

I jumped away from Lukas.

"You two get out of here!" Order two warriors.

Lukas walked closer to me. As he walked, his form gradually changed.

I gulped. I just saw a shapeshifting Lycan. Lycans are not like werewolves who change into wolves, but they are like wolf people!

I saw Lukas' body when his clothes were torn. His body was hairy and had big muscles, his claws were long and sharp. His face was like that of a wolf with fangs, and his eye was black. Now I realize that Lycans were scarier than werewolves!

Lukas growled loudly for a few moments, and then he quickly attacked me.

I was alert. I quickly dodged and blocked his attacks. His movements were fast and I could feel the power of every punch and kick he hits me.

"Tala!" I called Tala between my fights with Lukas, but she still didn't answer.

What do I do now?

When I saw an opportunity, I punched Lukas' body hard. He threw himself on the floor and then stood up.

He jumped high towards me and with his long and sharp claws, he attacked me. I used my hands to block his attack. I couldn't avoid his attacks. I felt the pain of scratches on my arm. I tried to get away from him and finally got away when I kicked his leg.

"I'm warning you, Lukas, leave now!" I will give him a warning.

I have made up my mind. I will use my ability as a Legendary Werewolf on him. No matter what he does I will not go with him to Lycan Gregory!

Lukas didn't seem to hear anything. He stood up again and quickly attacked me. I felt the pain of his attacks and when my partner fell to the floor, I did what I had to do.

I concentrated, and for a few moments, the whole area was lit up. I couldn't see what was going on, as long as the important thing was that I can escape Lukas!

Almost half a minute passed when the bright light gradually disappeared. I closed my eyes to adjust, and then slowly opened my eyes.

I felt weak. I saw Lukas lying on the floor. He has returned to his human form and lost consciousness. I fell to my knees. I don't know how much my life has been reduced by the side effect of my ability as a Legendary Werewolf, as long as the important thing is that he can't get me!

Due to fatigue and weakness from using my abilities, my eyes slowly closed. Before I passed out, I saw two men enter the Palace. Two men wearing the same clothes as Lukas!
